STORYTIME: My Biggest Struggle/Tragedy during my Ultrasound Program

- Hi Everyone. This is the first personal video Ive made that brings you more into my life. I talk about one of the biggest struggle i went through during my Ultrasound program that I never ever shared with anyone besides my closest friends at the time. It has been about over two years since I started my program and about 9 months of grieving. But I am ready to share with you my story and I hope it helps someone else in this world.
I apologize in advance if this is triggering for others or if this is not the information you were trying to look for when coming to my channel.
I promise this video is not for sympathy, I'm not looking for handouts I am no clout chaser lol.
I just felt this is raw and honest, and I am positive there is someone else in the world who is struggling with their own issues too. I hope it helps

Kristy my heart is broken for you, I knew you went quiet for awhile and I was worried. I never imagined it would be this. Girl you are a survivor and you are such an inspiration to me. You were the one who encouraged me to go into sonography after sitting on it for years. You are my favorite CZcamsr and I am so proud of you. I know your mom is proud of you and so am I. You are going to achieve beautiful things in life and I just wanna thank you so much for sharing this with us. I’m so sorry for your loss. My mom is really ill now. But, it’s not nearly upsetting as in your case. My mom doesn’t have that much longer left her before going to be with God. Unfortunately, you had to lose you’re amazing mom much earlier in life than I. I’m 47 and the baby in the family of 6 children total. I appreciate the videos you produce for the public and your subscribers. Thank you so much!! 🥰💞😇 I’m looking foward to going back to school this coming August. I’m really thinking extremely hard in majoring in Sonography. I would have to do my prerequisites first then apply for a 2 year AD. I was also thinking about a radiology technologist w/specializing in Nuclear medicine, MRI, and CT. But nuclear medicine would be my first priority and getting certified in after finishing the program if I choose that route. Is Sonography extremely hard?? I’m really afraid and actually a bit... (no, a lot) lol intimidated to start school again; since, so many years have gone by!!! I’m extremely young at heart and I definitely don’t look my age and I keep up with the times & always w/the latest trends & music currently going on at every given moment. My oldest daughter graduated this May and will be starting grad school in the fall in Nutritional science. My 2nd and Baby Girl will graduate next May in Forensic science and finance and will enter Law school Aug 2021. So, the intimidation is real!!! I’m shook!! 🤪 So, any thoughts?? Congratulations !!🎉🎓🎈🎉🍾🎉🎈🎓🎉 You are one strong young lady!!! You’re going to be extremely successful in life!!! Just look what you have accomplished thus far under such extreme amounts of pressure, and especially the most hardest of all ....the huge amount of emotional distress you were under regarding being the backbone for your family for being the individual who is the spokesperson to relay all all your Mom’s medical information to your siblings and most of all translating it to you’re Mom’s primary language. You did all this while conquering studying, Clinicals, projects, just living, and trying to cope with everything and adjust to accepting your mom was extremely sick & you topped it off with your Momma watching you finish your degree & watch you receive it on graduation day!!! ❤️ What a One Proud Mom was She!!! I know she was ecstatic, proud, and beaming with admiration, so much love & joy for her baby girl!!! Your story has touched my heart ❤️!! You are truly an inspiration to me and others. I'm super so sorry for your lost I know what it feels to lose a mom I lost my mom last year due to covid and it's the hardest thing in life. I need my mom and I miss her like crazy I wish she was still here to see me take the first steps in wanting to go back to school and be a sonographer. One of my last conversations with my mom before she pass was me telling her I want to have a baby and how painful a vaginal ultrasound was for me so because of that conversations I definitely was to do OB sonography. I can't wait till I make it there! I wish you the best of luck and always remember our mothers will always be by our side guiding us from the other side :)

Oh babygirl, I totally understand my mother had breast cancer when I was in 11th grade and I also am the youngest child, only one with medical knowledge and her personal translator. Look at the beautiful fond memories you have with her and how you were able to endure. Your mother is so proud, thank you for sharing this beautiful transparent video. You are not alone ❤️

Wow my mom also had that exact type of cancer in the same breast. I'm now signing up for the sonography program in the spring of 2021. My mom passed away in 2015. So I know theres nothing someone can say to make you feel better. Just know she's looking down on you, shes so proud and smiling!

I am super sorry for your loss. I can somewhat relate to you. My dad passed away pretty young before Christmas this last December. He bleed out internally somehow to my understanding. He was fine one day passed away the next. It really sucks for me sometimes just thinking about how everything went down and how the people around me like friends or family are so insensitive or toxic. Thank you so much for your story. Mine is different, I am in xray and battling lupus and I've managed to stay strong with my treatments and mental discipline. I was hit hard with the death of my grandpa due to covid in April I was so depressed that I honestly cannot remember anything that happened that entire month I slept so much. I can't image what you went through. It helps another people to see that you can still make it out of dark times and persevere

I'm very sorry for your loss💗 i lost my dad to cancer about 2 years ago and I can relate to you having to manage school and family health issues specially with the language barrier. Everyone griefs in different ways take time for yourself be patient .

Kristy I just want you to know that you touched so many hearts like myself. This video made me shed tears but to know that you stay as strong as you are makes me glad. You are one of the reasons why I will start the sonography program in the fall of 2022. now i’m taking my prerequisites and hopefully soon I will get accepted into a accredited college. You're so strong, and you have inspired me to continue following my dreams. Hearing your unfortunate situation was just too unbearable for my heart to take. Looking at my personal situation it makes my unfortunate smaller and merely nothing more disheartening than yours. My perspective and attitude have changed now. Perseverance, less complaining, embellishing new study habits, and praying consistently is apart of my new identity and character today.
May Jehovah blesses you, please know that he has your family protected and watched over by his angels. Your beautiful mother is looking down at you and is very proud of you. My graduation is date may be far away but just like said at 8:10 it's still possible to still follow my dreams, although the pitfall maybe super draining to bare but getting through is essential!
Stay happy and quarantine safe. The healing process can be difficult but you're doing extremely well progressing through it, I am so encourage by you:)))!

Thank you so much for sharing your story! You made me cry by watching your video! I am getting into CVT program by this fall after stepping out of my darkest time in my life. I used to have depression and I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder by the end of fall 2017 when I was seriously just at rock bottom during the semester of 2017. I had to go see a psychiatrist for antidepressant since I was so stressed out. I decided to change my major although I love to be in vet field cause I really love animals, but I had figured out that field was not really the best one for me, and so I changed to CVT. I have been through a lot of struggles in order for me to get accepted into the program, I failed AP for one time, and I was really afraid of lab in general cause the chemistry lab was one of the main reasons that had caused me to have anxiety. That anxiety unfortunately has become my obsession about lab and for everything else in my life as well. Anyway, I just want to share my story to you and to other people. And I would love to know if my story would motivate make anyone out there who is struggling with their personal problems, especially mental problems like me. I try to heal myself. I try to be better. I try to love myself and learn to be kind not to just myself, not to just my family but also other people. I am always thankful for those people who had helped me during the time I first experienced anxiety. It is truly grateful to have their help, love and support.

This really hits home for me. My mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and I do it everyday for her! I pray you find healing in the work you provide to your patients 💕 You’re an inspiration to so many!
