I think that gasket you put silicone on was actually the diaphragm for the air horn and that’s why it just whistles instead of actually honking I could be 100% wrong I couldn’t really see it all to well in the video

LOL, I love what you did... if it weren't for the fun factor, I would be appalled at the methods you used, but that's only cause I was a body man for over 20 years... I do like what you make just for shits&giggles... and you are at least saving them from becoming derby cars to live another life however short that lifespan is... love what you do keep it up

It'll crush down without putting much pressure on anything, and then stay there, letting you see how much space there really is (or isn't).

I think the PPS gun is about 160 bucks but you can buy a box of tips for like 20/30 bucks all you got to do is get some brake cleaner spray it out and wipe the needle and you can pitch the tip it's made out of plastic if you drop it it will break they're super light they're advertised for men and women to spray with you can buy the disposable liners and the cups with a twist top it's pretty slick little setup but like I said if it's super tight budget right now it might be out of the budget because a box of sleeves and cups and everything is about 200 so to get started you might have to have about 500 but you can get the 2.0 tips for priming their love for the paint shop it's easy to clean it's super fast

I think you can get one of those PPS guns that got the interchangeable tips they're quick and easy you just pop the tip wipe the needle I love them but they spray so slow that it pisses me off honestly I heard guys that would take and drill the tips on those harbor freight guns you just find you a gun has a 2.0 tip and you match it up with a drill bit and just punch it out and the needle will go out far enough to where you can use it it sprays faster but it does go through material faster

If you would use a 2.0 tip for primer you wouldn't have that problem it'll actually spray the thick primer that's what you're supposed to use or a 1.7 tip most of those harbor freight guns are like a 1.5 I don't know if they sell a 1/7 or 2.0 like the gravity fed but if you do reduce it you can get it to spray faster I use it I use it with low air pressure and spray slow with primer if you want a gun that will spray that thick primer you got to use a 2.0
