As soon as you stopped mid-sentence and said "Now why are there cows in the yard?", I felt compelled to hit the "LIKE" button. 🤣🐄
What really set that comment off was ,someone in the background..i think Jessie said something to the effect of “ yay free meat”!!!
Free meat got me
I was here for this comment. Perfect timing.
Did he say “free meat” or “free beef”?
Not something you hear everyday in my neighborhood.
The company that makes self-tappers really needs to sponsor you since I've been watching you most of your vehicles in some form or not are held together with self-tappers
Tek screws. Send them a message on Facebook/Instagram for me 🤷
I didn’t think my love for the Silver Dollar could get any greater, but then, you installed that barbed wire under seat security system to protect whatever falls under the seat!! Over the top Dalton!!!!!!!
The most PBG thing possible
"Good trucks get new parts, bad trucks get scrapped" and that made the step side a good truck
Hi ho, neighbor. These videos have been making the idle days at work go by quite nicely! Cheers!🥃
Right on man!
Is that a home improvement reference?! Beyond awesome. Hi ho!
@@PoleBarnGarage ok ..what if you don't have just stuff laying around?
Mighty much stuff laying around...
I couldn't do that without...stuff laying around
@@BUILTFORDTOUGH79 I don’t think so, Tim.
That truck has come a LONG WAY! Awesome work! Kevin is probably jealous now 😂, keep the vids coming dalton!
Thanks! Will do!
That thing looks so amazing! It was a huge project.
As a master mechanic for a dealership for 15 years, some things I see make me cringe. And as a shade tree mechanic at home I applaud your 'get er done spirit'! The truck looks fn amazing, love the content and how JD is learning the trade. Plus, who am I to judge, you have a jag 😂 killing in brother
"A" Jag? What kind of peasant do you take him for? No, he is a true man of distinction, as he has _two_ Jags!
Those doors seals will relax with some time no doubt. Door panels looked good after dye. Good thing you have JD, he will keep you honest. She'll be a solid truck when you sell her!
That's what they told me on MY truck.. Still have to slam them a year later.
Lovin that stearin wheel! Also oh boy gotta love findin random wires that somebody halfway spliced together 20 years ago.
I swear man you never cease to amaze me on utilizing whatever’s laying around and make what some would consider to be junk useful, you are truly showing how us regular folks that you can have killer awesome looking rides with a budget and some outside the box thinking. Thanks man and always enjoy your content!
I am the same way I have been a mechanic since the 70s my wife use to always say why do you save all this junk until I started pointing out the things I fix from that stuff and I haven’t had to go anywhere in years looking for nuts or bolts and random stuff. Then I heard her telling a friend that I can fix anything and never spend a cent lol she finally realized the value of junk.
Get yourself a 3M Half Face Respirator with Organic Cartridges (for paint) and it can also be used for all of your sanding, and get one for DJ. The prefilters catch the dust, the cartridges catch the VOCs
I'd be proud of that interior no doubt! Looks better than 95% of the old Chevy trucks I've owned. Look forward to the trip to Kevin's!
This is still my favorite channel, because it’s the right mix of half-assed, cheap, and average Joe car repair and upgrades.
Watching these videos is almost kinda like hanging out with my friends in the old days. 😎👍👍
Whoever makes those self tappers should sponsor you as you single handedly keep them in business
It might not be "perfect" but ya know what, it's freekin GREAT. Glad you brought this truck back from the dead 🤟
Knowing your sense of humor, I was fully expecting you to close the episode after the rear-view mirror installation.
Always fun to hang out at the PBG - with Dalton and JD.
I can't wait to see the next video road tripping it back back to junkyard to have him see all you've done to it, video is going to be epic!
Crazy how far this truck has come. Great job.
Thanks 👍
The truck just keeps getting better and better! You and JD have done a fantastic job👍🏻
Can’t wait to see the road trip!
Side note: the “piping” on your upholstery is actually “welting”.
Piping is for clothing and welting is for upholstery🙂
From my experiences with all kinds of upholstery…..auto upholstery just sucks😳
"auto upholstery just sucks" ....Not if you are really good at it.
I have fallen in love with the Silver Dollar Chevy! I remember these back when they were new, only the coolest of the cool had them.
I love how JD been there since the beginning of the channel I love that boy kids come first remember that your doing a good job being a father for him alot of kids don't have that ❤️❤️
Kids the best help I have, period. Literally more competent than anyone I know
Great video Dalton really enjoy your content. When are you and Kevin going to enter a crash and derby with all the cars you got that would be awesome to see.
Spread the word people, this channel should have at least 500k subs
Thank you so much for making it affordable to be a member.
Of course!
Barbed wire seat adjuster wire is some of the most awesome things I have ever seen 😂
Coming along fantastic!!! I think you have officially brought it around about 727%. Just don’t lose your receipts!!!
Good luck on your trip to Kevin's! you got this and the step side looks amazing inside and out.
From what this truck was to what it is now just proves if you want it bad enough you’ll figure out a way to do it!! This thing is really bad ass man!!
Fun fact, the early 73' pickups had smaller tracks and rollers for the windows. So while the glass is thicker, the track the regulator uses is smaller
SILVER DOLLAR CHEVY.
Instill cannot believe this is the same truck from Kevin's videos.
Dalton, you did amazing with this one
Looking gewd! I'd drive that thing in a heartbeat. All the work was absolutely worth it. 👌
Heck yea the membership continues to pay for itself
I love all 3 colors that make up this truck. She's a beauty !!
Proper job on that pick up 👍🏼
Still a bit of self tapper engineering keeping it budget real 😂👍🏼🇬🇧
That came out great! If you can get your hands on a steamer you might be able to smooth out the corners and any wrinkles in the seat if they are bothering you. You can also wrap your foam with something like poly-fil and that will help with wrinkles and fill things out.
Were those old French fries that fell out of the seat? 😂 At least thats what it looked like, and the dog might have helped themselves to a couple of them. This has been my favorite build that you have done. I’ve loved watching it, and I learned a lot of body work and painting tips along the way that I never knew so thank you for that. You made me realize to not take projects so seriously or get too upset when something goes wrong. Just do your best, have fun with it, and make a functional machine run and be badass for years to come without killing the bank
WOW!! thinking back to when you dragged that home from Kevin…You did some job! All on a budget too.
Dalton a great job on the pick-up interior. Well got a pretty nice truck to flip or keep.
💯👍👊
i really like how the red on that dash turned out. the steering wheel? chef's kiss. this thing came out great
“That other stuff was taking me for a ride!” Classic…
Nice job,
With barbed wire for connecting draw on the seat slides, I wouldn't keep anything under the seat 😮
It's not barbed lol
“People know what to expect by now”. Indeed we do!
Dad and DJ the dynamic duo! Your a great dad!
Note to self: When getting things from under the seat there is Barbed Wire there. I just love getting Tetanus Shots! LMAO
I've got a scar on my wrist from when I reached in between the seat cushions on an older 300D mercedes years ago. It didn't even really bleed, but it sure scarred!
Love it.
I still think it needs a chrome roll bar with KC Day lights, push bar and chrome stacks.
Nothing like a shakedown drive straight to Kevin's place! Awesome job on the interior Dalton, really looks great. JD is getting one hell of an education there.. I loved watching him fight removing those damned hog rings. The bane of my existence.
That Caprice wagon looks pretty cool
The interior looks great. The dash looks awesome.
Love your videos. Learning how to use a damaged hood from another vehicle as the trunk of the Holey Goat is priceless information.
Amazing transformation on the truck!
Great job Silver Dollar looks awesome one of my favorite projects on the channel !
Your son has turned into quite the helper!
JD plays along very well with your humor, I loved that 'Free beef!' comment! XD
HELLO DALTON AND J D
I still can't believe that that is the same scrap heap Kevin suckered you into. I know it won't win any car shows but the story behind it will surprise a few people that see it.
I love what you did with the silver dollar chevy k10
Squarebody doors are a nightmare, so best of luck. This truck has come along way and it's really nice.
An easy way to remember trailer light harness wires. Green is the grass side, yellow's the center line side, and obviously brown comes out of the tail end
One of my favourite restorations on CZcams. It's showing what the real home mechanic can achieve. Well done sir!
nothing says bachelor pad quite like a vintage Area 51 Arcade console in the living room. Keep doing you boys.
You guys did a sweet job on this, on budget, did all the work at home and repurposed lots of parts 🙌
Man that truck has come a long way.
10:20pm Eastern Time, new PBG drops while I'm getting ready for bed....... Have to get up for work at 4am....... Sleep can wait, this is more important
33:06 it's been an amazing rollercoaster of a transmogrification and it'll be fun to show off to Kevin and Mook (and Angus if he's there this time) who will be amazed it's the same truck. That's called foreshadowing. Looking forward to the video when it comes!
Silver Dollar Chevy has come a long way it looks great trying to watch and laughing along best of luck on your trip up have fun drive safe
Nice job! Enjoying the channel. The new girl seems like a good fit. Nice job on the go-kart JD! After that mishap with the wiring i would have cried lol.
The Silver Dollar came out pretty good. Lotta work, but you saved it from the scrap pile. Nicely done Dalton and JD.
JD is a superb supervisor on this job
That truck sure has come a long way. Awesome work.
I can't wait for the final video showing the start to finish, like you did with the other projects. I have a few friends who I know would love this series but I need the video to show off! Lol
I love the mix of family youtuber and smoking cigs lol. Makes you seem more human🤙
I installed that same seat cover on my black 76 sport step side , and I am also very happy with the way it turned out.
Around 21 minutes when you say you stole some fence, then said you had cows in the yard!!! I laughed way to hard!😂 thanks!!!
Thank god the self tappers are back in use…some of us were getting concerned !
You know you have a very good son, I just love watching you show, I do not agree with a lot of the words that you use but still like watching you. I really hope your channel go far. And keep that mini you on his toes he loves you very much and watches every move you make. Good luck to you from the Michael Ranch.
I've loved this series, that thing was a pile when you started. Awesome work and super inspiring!
Hey Dalton I dig the 1960s kitchen table and chairs! 😅😅😅😂
I been patiently waiting all week for my Mentor to drop this weeks video 😜
Let's get a window tint tutorial. That would set that truck off 5% all around. Great Job enjoy the content
This gives me hope that I can restore the nanner some day. I need a shop first 😭
Love all your hard work from plow truck to amazing truck
Awesome video bud!!! That’s a truck anyone would be proud to drive!!!
I love that truck!
The transformation from when you first got it to now... is amazing!
It makes my day to open CZcams and PBG has a new video uploaded! Love this content!
I know you’re kinda tired of this build after the tons of work/money you’ve put into it, but don’t quit on it now. That truck is why I found your channel and is my favorite vehicle on it. It’s been awesome watching you fix a truck that looked like it should be junked. It should give everyone hope that the old rusty stuff they’ve got can always be fixed.
It's done 🤷
She’s looking sweet man keep up the good work
FYI, whenever I remove or install glass in square body doors I pull the wing windows first. Seems to help.
Good job on the build man! That thing has come a LONG way!! 😎
I really love how accessible you and Kevin have made this hobby.
Truck is really looking great man, incredibly impressive work you've done on it overall. I appreciate your commitment to doing it cheap but still taking care when it comes to the details.
I like how you have your son and gf involved
They have no choice 😅
WELL HOLY MOLY! Zipties & Bias Plys yesterday & Pole Barn today! VERY NICE!
The truck has came a long ways
Your Chanels grown like crazy since you started the series and this truck restoration is insane!
I appreciate that!
Some led lights around the inside of the bed would look cool
From what it was to what it is that truck has undergone a hell of a transformation.
Great job.
Awesome looks super gooder thank u for the entertainment Dalton and Jd we the viewers appreciate it
Holy Cow!! Now the seat track works 😂😂😂😂
Hey ! I'm digging that vintage dining room table and chairs in the background of your upholstery shop !
