“7 mpgs and no power doing it” Dalton is a natural born comedian
He also managed to explain why imported cars first got a serious foothold in the US market with one catch phrase.
My heart is tickled
“You can only do it wrong, once you know how to do it right.” - Words to live by there Dalton T. Justice 🍻
Apprehend that horseass for reckless drivin'
This kid seems perfect, like, how'd you make him so chill and helpful?
Hereditary.
Lead by example?
@@MrMCDiggles yep, and probably a good mix of love, discipline and a free spirit.
It's called parenting.
Blue color kids are dads gear head buddy’s that how I was and still am i love wrenching with my dad and I’m 34
The knowledge J.D is learning just by painting the old crappy car is priceless. Good job J.D 👍👍🇺🇲
Off to bed… oh wait the lord of crap cars released a new doctrine… I guess I am up for at least 1 more hour. Thank you for all you guys do!
Sucks that your funny comment got stolen by a porn bot.
ive noticed his lady is rapidly becoming an expert with a camera, that thing she did while cruising in the cadi she showed his foot to the floor then the speedo then the speed limit sign that was some awesome camera work well done young lady
She is definitely a welcome addition 👏 1:07:45
His "lady" is his daughter.
@@user-iy7yb1sh8g - lol, noooo she’s not
Dalton, you are a fortunate man. All us dads wish we had a son like JD.
He is gaining a vast knowledge of useful and useless info that every guy should know growing up.Besst wishes ti your entire family..
"I think there's really only one real solution here, and that's to give up."
Yet another philosophical gem, my brother!
😂😂 "There's no gas tank!!!!"🤣🤣
All time PBG moment for me 😂
at that moment i paused and went to grab popcorn. i knew this one was gonna be a good one lol
"Imagine how quiet its going to be in here " JD's knockout reply "there is no roof" 😂😂
Lol that got me rolling 🤣
@@truckabob Yeah that quick cwip got me rollin' too!
Dalton and JD truly polished a turd. It was hilarious to watch the banter. The day is always better when a PBG video drops.
I love the fact he's teaching the kid how to do it. Prefect project for it and so few are being taught how to do this stuff anymore.
"Wow, this was a mistake" has been my motto since childhood.
And is still valid for me😢
Pretty sure that’s what my parents said when they found out they were expecting me!
Teaching JD how to paint is a great. You teach well, never getting angry or upset, and trying to explain why to do things. Kids at school may laugh at his red nose, but he's gonna be able to paint his cars the colors he wants.
JD is already a more knowledgeable mechanic than most mechanics ! :)
JD takes instruction well. He did a really good job painting that thing!
Not only did he get some experience painting, he got to hang out with his Pops!
He's gonna remember these days!
I don't know what's better to see, you guys breathing new life into rust buckets, or the bond you have with JD. You have all my respect good sir.
That kid is having the time of his life. Something the phone will never do for him. Learning a skill that a lot of people won't have but need to have done. Great video!
I 100% agree.. this is the best kind of quality time between father and son
The 'skill' is going to be largely obsolete in 20yrs
@@harriettanthony7352 EVs are going to be largely dead in 20 years
@harriettanthony7352 cars are still gonna exist and you're still gonna be an ass
@@Avethoyep in a few years they will be the next climate crisis
The videos where you guide JD through something are always a pleasure to see. You‘re a good father, brother.
That boy really will get in there and get going. Love the coaching. He’ll be a beast when he’s grown
It's so good to see a Dad & their Kid working together. I never had that with my dad. But My oldest Daughter wanted to do everything with Me So I taught her everything I could. We worked on cars, furniture & music. All my favourite things. Now she doe's the same with her kids. I'm a very proud Dad & very happy Grandpa.
I'm liking the new added foreshadowing feature you added to the videos.
Dalton is a gift and shall be held in the highest esteem! Like a national treasure!
Wtf. That's a awkward thing to say... lol
@@kdogg82It's an internet thing....like "protect him at all costs"🎉
Dude is better than that, he is an American with a full send attitude 😏👍🏻
Dalton is a National Treasure.
JD did a great job painting !!! That boy is gonna be an all around automotive expert by the time he's a full grown man!!! Great job raising him Dad!!
Watching JD pitch in is awesome! Also, I don't know how Dalton and Jess found each other but I think she's a perfect addition to the channel. Why do I say that? He said: I wonder if we'll have any brakes, to which she responded "we'll find out-out there" pointing to the road with lots of cars on it...lmao. The perfect woman for a guy like Dalton.
WHOA! The station wagon is going to be EXCELLENT!!
"Future Dalton editing this realizes that THIS is why his back hurts so bad." 🤣🤣🤣
These memories with the family is priceless. Id rather have these memories with my dad then any luxury car on my own! That kid has it ten times better than the one that's glued to a screen 24/7!
Those factory CB radios are actually worth quite a bit of money.
JD did an awesome job on the paint! The horns on the hood, that is the chef's kiss though!
That kid is hilarious, when they were trying to fix the rear bumper by backing into the tree he was telling Dalton its working when it was bending the crap out of it haha
You forgot to stop at the liquor store next to the DT, a suitcase of cheap beer would have been a perfect touch.
Dalton is the court jester of automotive repair shows.
I love this constant flow of awesome old cars that are not common and how you make them better. Beats them getting crushed.
Man I am loving these hour long episodes!!
The Eldorusto looks first class, another fine example of luxury, wealth, and good taste. The "jag" too... most men could only dream of such a collection. love the work you do :)
1:08 the diesel shutoff was best part of the video!
Just wouldn't be Dalton without a fireball out the carb
I say again… best dad ever!!!!
My hopes and wishes for you sir is that you make enough money to build your dream shop and put out more and more great video's! You do some really amazing work with junk. I like it because you are proud of the junk you make fun. That is what we all needed. For so long all the shows were about getting a nice vehicle even nicer and that takes some serious money most people cant fork over. Especially with every day life stuff to buy.
Please don’t ever change! Another perfect job well done!
You could say he had a BONE to pick with the carburetor 😂😂😂😂😅😅
What an awesome Dad! Teaching his son how to do professional jobs is what good Father's do to prepare them for life. Also, creating positive memories and spending quality time together, is priceless 👍. Great job you two!!! Plus, everyone's having fun doing it. Anyway, thanks for the video 📸.
Saturday morning cup of coffee, pole barn garage 😅 😂 great stuff 👍. ❤ from Australia
Thank god it’s Friday. I get my fix of The Adventures of Pole Barn Garage.
@42:51, classic Dalton, no PPE, cig hanging from the mouth, sanding away. Pure Merica! Love this channel.
Was thinking the same! Like 1960 at my Dad's shop!
He will be suffering for it when he is 50!! Ask me how I know LOL
Future problems… be better if he was painting with the Cig hanging out. People go nuts
Parenting level 1000. Good job.
And thanks for teaching him AND me on how to work with paint gun
21:11 “Fresh, never frozen!” I don’t believe that shit for a second. Glad you’re getting sponsors though!
Incredible! I was expecting self-tappers and duct tape but I didn't realise how important a good selection of trees is. You've added a nice eco-friendly component to your workshop 👍
You have an excellent entertainment value no matter what you are doing, just a gift or something so don't worry about what you are making videos about just keep doing what you are doing and people will watch.
I watch these to escape reality
Lol you were over budget with the duck tape 🤣
Teaching JD to use tools safely is a greak skill he'll have forever. Love the content
Another fun project! JD is lucky to have a fun dad who lets his son learn by doing while having a blast!
Love that you have made an honest youtube channel, with entertaining long form content. With quality like this you wont lose the shop!
That whole car was foreshadowing! JD is getting better at painting and doing other car things, you should be proud. And think, you now have another car gas tank to add to the others. And perhaps the engine and trans would be good for other projects.
I, legit, laughed more during this episode than I have at actual comedy specials. Keep up the great work! Also props for teaching JD some skills!
Awesome Dad stuff right there. Lessons and memories that will last a lifetime.
Livin in luxury with a Caddy!
Add 20-30% thinners reducer to your paint mix and it will come out how you want it to and no orange peel. You’ll get the shine your looking for 👍 great vid btw from DTE TV all the way in uk
Congrats to Factor for the honor of sponsoring PBG!
Need to add the "Escape from New York" front fender chandeliers for stylish improved lighting... 😁
Gotta love being early to a PBG vid. Best 99c per month I'll ever spend.
Seriously, I wish I did this a while ago
Not me, that members mark reminds me of a Rose Bud (not the flower)
Man, you turned that Cadillac into a 50 footer
Love the Eldorado, but I can't wait till you do the Ford wagon. I just hope you do it right and make a nice cruiser out of it.
Great video
Nice seeing father and son working together
Perfect 👍
Friday night 23.45/11.45pm (Sweden), the children have gone to sleep, a couple of beers in and Pole Barn Garage have dropped a new video 👌🫡
Det är då man uppskattar livet lite extra.. Hehe.
I must say I like all the foreshadowing going on here. Future Dalton should appear more, he's quite wise
The purpose of this video was pure amusement and it worked a treat. she's definitely a good 30 footer. You and JD have great fun and that's what matters the MOST
Cant wait for the 460 c6 station wagon!
Damn man, on my birthday too. Thanks Dalton! Hell of a birthday gift! Especially since I've been working out of town all day.
Happy birthday hope you have great day.
Happy Birthday
Happy Bday!
Happy Birthday 🎊🎂🎁
The 500 CI version of those do awesome burnouts, torque steer for days.
“Let me get some self-tappers!!” 😂
You teach the way I learn. Correct when wrong, acknowledge when doing it right.
Don't get to see that too often anymore.
All the brown and speed holes nice . Plus a Bluetooth gas tank you really do pick up quality vehicles 😎
Roof delete
I can't believe how much your Son has grown up in the past year He's a amazing young Man and I'm sure you are so Proud of him any father would be.
gotta be the best factor add/sponsor section iv seen so far, meals that don't need cooking which i cant do
I love the shorty van at the wood line like a ghost
47:42 you teaching JD how to do this in this video was also my 5 minute instruction for when I decide to paint my car. perfection 👌🏻😂
Dalton! You have to be the Epitome of "The shade tree back woods enginuity. 😂 thumbs up!
Dalton: "Imagine how quiet it will be....." J.D: "There's no roof"
Man, a Dalton video is just what I needed today! The only guy I would pay to let me be shop help for a day.😂
I'm not joking. Whenever I watch anyone's videos, including my own, I'm usually staring at my phone half the time browsing marketplace. You teaching JD how to lay down paint had my complete attention the entire segment. Awesome job, keep it up.
You just described how the internet it ruining our brains! 😮😅
Welcome to Pole barn garage where every car is a craft project.
JD is very lucky to have a father like you to teach him a skill that he can carry with him for the rest of his life! Thumbs up to you my friend!
My favorite part is you working with JD. Wish I had 10% of that as a kid. Just NO, Move, and Shut Up. Maybe next life. Great job Dalton. Awesome job JD.. btw Cody’s doing good on his channel. I bet a call from bro would mean a lot.
Oh bud I am excited for that station wagon
Enjoy that one, I'll watch it all
You and JD had me cracking up the whole time. You guys working together is awesome!
Something awesome I've seen done with those fwd Eldos, is you pull the body, cut the front end off and weld it to a whole car trailer. Then you plop a COE cab on top, and you have a badass car hauler.
Dalton You Did It again GENIUS
You should get two garbage Corvettes and make a 1980 4 door tribute for your next build. A True monstrosity! 😁👍
Fun, you guys reminds me of a 1980s car dealer. This is actually readily built the parts from a Cadillac. Thanks for the memory. "Dalton's classic cars, $10,000 c ould work for you..buy today!".
It's so great to see your son hanging out with you and learning as well!
Finally figured out how to join the “low buck club”! My IPad skills are lacking.
Thank you so much! It's a little tougher on apple stuff for some reason, don't sweat it
FYI @PoleBarnGarage, if the Caddy ends up as scrap later, the front disk brakes can be used to convert a 68-72 C10 front drum set up. Our ‘72 C10s got ‘77 Eldorado brakes on the front 👍
No kidding? I just picked up a 66 wonder it's the same
I’m not sure, I know there were a lot of changes from the first generation C/K to the 2nd Gen “Action Line”. A buddy of mine is doing a frame-off on a ‘66 right now and now I’m curious.
Let's get to 200k! This channel definitely deserves it. Keep making vids and we'll keep watching them!
I watch these vids and I'm being reminded of my grandpa hand painting old cars and trucks. He was always messing around with Studabakers, Ford Racheros and Other various cars and trucks where he could wheel and deal with his buddies. Guy was a real gear head!
Hey Dalton.... when trimming that foam, an electric filet knife works great
Way back in the mid 90’s I had a Cutlass Calais from the 80’s, 4 door and not the cool kind 😂 the rear quarters were rotted out at the bottom and I wasn’t a skilled body guy. So I taped over the holes and filled the void through the trunk with foam. Took a few days to dry. Pulled the tape, sanded it, put some “speed tape” over it and painted it almost the same color. Stopped the exhaust from filling the cabin.
So awesome that you are teaching JD how to paint, perfect project for it. Like you said, he couldn’t screw it up, and if he had, it would not be a problem, and you could teach him to fix it. Wish I could have gotten my kid interested in fixing cars. Now that he’s older he wishes he’d have taken an interest. It’s never too late, I’m teaching him how years later.
Everyone should have a Dad like you ! .. your son is blessed
I love that the van is still sitting in the exact same spot where it got stuck months ago lol
That whole hood hinge thing was the BEST car guy humor I've ever seen!
Dalton could be a stand up comedian if this car gig thing ever wears out.
This turned out the perfect Big and little Enos car.
"My life's a disaster" another favorite quote from HEAT.
