You don't "send and not send" electricity through microcontroller pins, you "send a small amount or a large amount of electricity".
how is that a 3$ build?
Interesting project but..but why?!?

I really want a new model of this hajaha with your knowledge thst u hsve in 2024
You have to calculate the flow of how much air is flowing out through the ridge vent and the powered attic vents. They need to be balanced. If the powered vents are too powerful then not only will they suck air up through the soffit but also suck hot air through the vent caps. You may not get adequate airflow characteristics that will cool off the attic space.
A little advice: if you order some of your parts from Amazon in another country than the ones referred with the links (ie USA), make sure your waterproof loud speaker is actually a simple speaker, not a siren… I did this mistake and it took me a while to figure that my sound board and my amp were working just fine… Lesson learned! 😊
man that rolling shutter is distracting
Im wondering if you’d tried SDR to analyze the signal. With the signal info, you can usually just mimic it via the arduino and a $0.60 transmitter. Combined with esphome, and home assistant (not necessary but highly recommended,) you can control the screen and a ton of other stuff however you like.
You could have eliminated the need for a switch by measuring the amount of time it takes to lower and raise the screen and turn the motor on for that amount of time. I like how you have integrated all those commands into the Alexa. Very professional and cool. The box was a bit conspicuous though. That's why I would have hidden the box and opted for timed motor usage to calibrate the screen up and down modes.
For sell?????
I guess the rumors of your demise are greatly exaggerate, you haven't popped up in so long i forgot who you were, this happens too often, you tubers move from their home to an office and life happens.
Hmm, that's strange. I've still been here, making lots of videos.
When I purchase my first home this is what I intend on doing. Love herringbone floors!
CHICOS CUANDO QUIERAN VER TV ....PRENDAN EL TV QUE GRAN SOLUCION
if you can tap threads you can make a converter for cheap
how is this holding up?
Great! I was out there yesterday!
it is good to know Tony Stark has a youtube channel teaching good tech stuff
Sweet video! You can use transistors instead of relays; they're more reliable and don't make a sound. ☺️ And you should really try the ESP32-C3; it's tiny and cheaper, but has the same functionality as a normal ESP32 (only difference is that it only has 13 pin-outs; but that's usually plenty!). 🤘
I've had literally no problems so far and this video was my only reference
Excellent video, thank you
Missed opportunity!! could have had various scenes behind there
Would it be possible to code in the amount of time it takes for the screen to come down and then send a command to stop?
Misleading video. Came here to find out how to control my smart devices from a pc. Instead i learned how to glue garbage to a laptop.
watch?v=YV8Mx1qvH4A
Great video. Let me get a reverse mortgage on my household and go to Harbor freight.😂😂😂
why a limit switch instead of a set time needed to lower the screen.
Why do you need a design this strong...umm how about just because?!?
Could you not get the ESP to mimic the remote's signals so you don't have to mess with the remote at all?
I only clicked for transformers…tricked again.
why would you put the vent in the floor?? heat rises the vents need to be in the roof area
How much would this upgrade cost him. I am sad that he said $3 on the title. Isn’t the Arduino like $20?
The ESP (microcontroller/Arduino) is about $3 from Amazon when you buy a few.
You could have gotten a cheap tubular lock pick set off of ebay instead of destroying a perfectly good safe.
Don't want direct sun on a hot day on propane tanks can drain them.
@17:28 Electricians take note

After 9 years and 14 M views, it's not a secret door
This was exactly what I needed. I am going to be putting in a totally new system and I have never had one before. Thank you for this!!!!
Why not just use a ball, like a tennis ball or ping pong ball, wrapped with the yarn & throw/roll it all the way to the other side? I mean, maybe that would work is the yarn doesn’t get jumbled up 🤔🤷🏻♀️
Creative video, thank you :)
As you've discovered - I've also found that a lot of those remotes that use 12v batteries just do so to increase range, often the chips can/will run on 5v (or I guess less) just with a really reduced range, so if you're going to store it somewhere in a nearby location to the blinds... just power it with 5v! Well done video, thanks!
Can you please build a working Batman armory from The Dark Knight?
again the only thing everyone really wanna know is not even included anywhere and it is how you control those lights. i've been searching on the net for quite some times. add myself a bunch of lights and wifi stuff. and had to literally just kitbash everything myself because nobody ever explain that stuff. they all seem to think its common knowledge and that everyone knows how LED works. great table, great going, but what im interested in is not the projector not the table itself, since i already have atable and a TV to go along with it. what i wnana know is how the hell did you program these LED to serve as life points ?!! and how do you actually control those ?
7:00 Assuming this is DC, why not just use a resistor or pot to go from 12v to 5v? and how is a transformer going to work this DC??
Potential dividers are not efficient. He's using a buck convertor, not a transformer to lower the voltage, and buck convertors are efficient.
5:55 wait wait wait. You have need sensor/stop-switch below the "screen" to stop it??? What happens then before this mod???
You press the stop button.
Very nice WAY , Very Nice !
I've done it with broadlink rm pro (which I use for all gadgets that have a remote controller). in google home's routine just define for how long (in sec.) should curtain go up or down
What do you do if you don’t have the thing you used to transfer the design to the screen?
Instead of the lmit-switch, calculate how many seconds it takes for the motor to extend the screen to the length you need, and add the maximum time to the code.
My thoughts as well.
Perfect, just the inspiration I've been looking for to make a puzzle table for the Mrs, but wanting to put a roller door on front to lock.
Please do not hold the chisel like that... That's giving me anxiety.
