I predict the Elmarit-R mostly as I own the projector lens version, the 90mm f2.5 Colorplan version 1. To be clear imo, ALL Leica 90's are superior to most other lens designers...so.

Just to point out the Nikon 28f/2.8 you have is pre CRC coating and that makes a huge difference in IQ so in reality the Nikon ais with serial numbers starting with 9 .......... will outperform any of these .But not the contax zeiss C/y 28f2.8 and even sharper again was the contax28f/2 hollywood,a rare piece of glass but oh it is crazy for that zeiss pop (3D)

I've only just resuscitated my film cameras, so I'm still in the experimental stage with regard to film. In the past I used to shoot and develop colour positive (slide) film. Looking now to shoot mostly black and white with my film cameras, I have just purchased some Fomapan. No idea what it is like as I am still waiting for the first rolls to come back from the developers, but the reason I bought it was because it was the cheapest I could find, and I have no idea if the light seals on my old cameras are still functioning. If the cameras are still holding up, I will definitely try some FP4 next. p.s. I have just bought a Mamiya 645 from Analogue cameras, so I am also waiting for that to turn up in the post.

Hello Matt, to use with a M10 will you recomend this one (type II) over the 28mm Summicron ASPH??

Dear Matt, I really like your videos about Leica M cameras, but somehow I can't agree with you here. At time 1.00 you demonstrate how to rewind film back to film cassette. I bet you turn the rewind knob in exactly the opposite direction. Or am I seeing wrong?
