This is a very tough match up for the Jets. The commentators who favored Winnipeg should have been more honest: playoffs are different -- key players dominate more because they get more ice time. Sometimes almost twice as much -- especially at crucial times. Doesn't mean Winnipeg can't win, it's just very difficult. Teams don't often win 2 cups in a row, but they can win 2 in 3 years.

Stop with the delusion the Jets are a great defensive team. Requiring Hellebuyck to have to make 35+ saves every night to try and have a chance to win eliminates great defense. He is gassed. Hellebuyck will never admit that but this is the Jets MO. Get outplayed for long stretches and play for 10 minutes to come back. It does not work in the playoffs when attention to detail is required for 60 to win not 15 or 20 minutes.

I'm tired of the younger 3 of "The Core 4" always dinking around and only feeding it to Tavares at the worst of times but then Johnny has to wait and get open more for the best looks only for the team not to set him up which is why I believe he is making bad reads....They are all not making great plays in the offensive zone. Lyubushkin is the one making the big confident shot attempts from the point, but you'd expect that from other players...so, why not put Lyubushkin on the PP, because he is the only one doing what a guy like Evan Bouchard is doing, which is blasting that puck

The players who indirectly called out Bowness are right - this is Bednar playing chess while Bowness sits on his hands and has someone else playing CHECKERS for him! The Avs have adapted their game to the way the Jets play, they're constantly in position to intercept passes and they box the Jets to the outside and don't allow shots on net. Can't expect to win when you keep trying the same thing over and over again. The Avs players probably go back to that locker room and ROAR with laughter at how easy Bowness is making it for them!!

23, 73, 62 all look slow and overwhelmed. The jets where so strong in the neutral zone all season but Colorado‘s speed just seems to solve that almost effortlessly.

Roman Josi is clearly playing hurt, and Saros has lost all confidence of himself, he was flowing around harder than a dying fish. Sissons is going to have nightmares at least forthe next 2 nights, if not for years to come. Predators' defence are being heavily taxed right now, with Josi playing hurt McDonagh is playing heavy minutes that is going to wear him down quickly. The whole team is clearly dejected right now, can they muster up something to try and win a game or 2?
