Keefe is not even on the same planet as this team. The disconnect between reality and what he sees is outrageous. He is this teams supportive Father, not a coach.

It's not that difficult to see why the Leafs' PP is horrible.
They run the exact same setup, drop pass entry and then let Marner handle it a bit until he can find a seam pass to 88/34.
Where they're REALLY struggling this year is with getting set up.
None of the first unit really wins board battles, that wasn't a problem in the past with guys like Bunting/ROR/Simmonds/Hyman/all the way back to JVR/Kadri.
But with JT's decline = less faceoff wins, less keeping possession when puck is loose along the walls.
These issues were masked bc Willy & Auston were shooting well.
If I can tell this as a casual fan, why can't Keefe?
You nailed it! We are losing these games because we can’t win a board battle. Marner looks very timid out there. He needs to be the one to win battles.
Quit using the excuse that AM is sick, you should have rested him prior to the playoffs; however, we all know what Totonto's priority was.

That's because Nylander is a fraud. Yes, he's a good player that can get points. But he is not $11 million dollar player. He ain't a go to guy, he can't score when you need it the most. It's plain and simple from the moment he entered the league.

Nylander isn't a fraud whatsoever, his agent negotiated for him and the team valued him because he was playing out of his mind. It's not his fault they paid him what he wanted 😂. He is also the leafs most consistent playoff performer so your argument has some holes. He isn't going to light up the bruins his first night back 3 games into a series
