I don’t think he’s delusional, it’s probably a safer bet to say he is completely out of touch with what’s going on and doesn’t have a clue how to get them all rowing in the same direction.
Keefe is a coach that has caught crap from the players and, no doubt from the president, for giving the players grief. Shanahan has been pulling the strings and Keefe just dances to his tune.
Finally people are calling out Marner. I've said it for years and ppm kept telling me I was wrong. Marner is a child. He can tell himself and the media he is a grown man but that doesn't make it so. If matthews was that sick he should have never played in the first case. He couldn't play a bit more in the 3rd? This club is not built right I blame management and the players. Players asked for too much money and management gave it to them.

Marner will waive his no trade clause because he will not be very welcome here any longer, which would make it more uncomfortable for him to continue to play here (and we all know he doesn't like uncomfortable situations 😂)

Nobody will take on any of those overstuffed contracts. Leafs are stuck with this farce of a non-team for a while. If they get a legitimate GM and a legitimate coach they could put together a playoff competitive roster once they get two or three of those bad contracts off their books. That's a lot of ifs though. Leaf's might get a game 5 victory or even go on beyond that but short of a miracle run materializing out of no where I hope it's clear that Marner's time is done here. This guy is the embodiment of a lot of the things that have plagued this team for years. High skill but low effort or willingness to put the body on the line when it matters. Not excusing the rest except for I guess Matthews who is battling something but really It's Marner's (and Keefe's) removal that will spark change.

I'm tired of the younger 3 of "The Core 4" always dinking around and only feeding it to Tavares at the worst of times but then Johnny has to wait and get open more for the best looks only for the team not to set him up which is why I believe he is making bad reads....They are all not making great plays in the offensive zone. Lyubushkin is the one making the big confident shot attempts from the point, but you'd expect that from other players...so, why not put Lyubushkin on the PP, because he is the only one doing what a guy like Evan Bouchard is doing, which is blasting that puck
