I've got "The Swarm" (Der Schwarm), "Somewhere Quiet", and "Lovely, Dark and Deep" on my Feb most anticipated.
Also, sure you've heard of it, but checked "When the Screaming Starts" this weekend, loved it! A British What We Do In The Shadows-esque comedy. Definitely worth checking, Cheers!
I know that 'No Way Up' looks pretty good as the Dario Argento documentary should be awesome. This is the first time I've heard about 'History of Evil' though.
We've just watched Panico on Shudder, so thanks for pointing that out. Monolith is the other one from the list that most interests me, so I should catch up with that (my previous sources of news on Aussie horror have mostly disintegrated it seems).
I immediately went to watch the trailer for Departing Seniors and I laughed through the whole thing. 😂 Definitely checking that out.
Double Blind looks the most interesting & spooky 👻 !
minus staying awake, this really happened (i think in GB). the people who received the real test drug experienced vomiting followed by multiple organ failure right in order they took the drug. people died and the staff was not prepared. this event changed changed rules about testing drugs on humans.
I watched Monolith last month ( yes it was released in Australia in December) and it's awesome....
Just saw "Dario Argento: Panico" and it is well done. While it does focus on Argento's films (with no spoilers), the film is also an intimate look at Argento's life, his family, and how he has influenced this generation of filmmakers. Highly recommend to all Argento fans. Overall score of 8/10.
