We also explore Revan's views on the Jedi and Sith and the limitations of both orders. What were Revan's final thoughts on the Jedi and Sith orders and what did he cite as their greatest strengths and weaknesses, also what were the lasting affects of what Revan left behind?

Darth Revan deserves to be canon.
He's over that, he's a legend.
+nexus prime oh shit
+nexus prime true that
"The man who became a Jedi, then Sith, and then something more. As a Jedi Revan was a warrior who slaughtered armies, as a Sith Revan was a teacher who trained a thousand dark apprentices. Revan mastered both the light and the dark side, war and peace..... Eventually both Jedi and Sith turned on Revan and instead of being destroyed Revan was reborn. Revan was stripped of power, of memory, of life and left to rot but Revan survived and still relearned the ways of the force." - Dousin Rvanite on Dromund Kaas SWTOR
Darth Venom he was so close to being in canon during CW
" *Revan was power. It was like staring into the heart of the force.* "
- Darth Traya
"Revan learned all that the Jedi Order could offer him". -SWOTOR campaign guide
true, but what might have Nihilus have become if his hunger was sated? another god of the force?
ATRAYA be interesting if Revan found the Force entity Abaloth or whatever her name is
I'd say that would sate his hunger for a few hundred years XD
ATRAYA Nihilus*
ATRAYA
Even Dark Holes disappear... Nihilus also did.
Revan would be a bad ass trilogy for star wars stories... just sayin Disney: movies would be "The Mandalorian Wars", "The Jedi Civil War", then "Revan's Redemption"
possibly the coolest, most in depth storyline star wars has to offer and Disney hasn't made it cannon yet, could even have spin-offs following KOTOR 2
the expanded universe- sorry,
legends did make a story about revan's fate.
then SWTOR took the ending, skipped 300 years and added more in their reven expansion. ruining the epic, heartbreaking ending in the book.
Currupt Angel well, my plan was to brush over that lol, just leave it with the Ebon Hawk crew getting a heroes celebration like in New Hope
I would love to see reven during the mandalorian wars.
there's a comic that takes place during that war and reven has a few cameos but nothing big.
Malek has a bigger part in the comic though.
you don't even know it's Malek though until he returns to the war and in the next shot he's standing beside revan.
but yeah, a movie or book series that focused on revan would be awsome.
it would have to be animated though for the best results
My idea for an Old Republic movie trilogy is: The Sith Wars (the war with Exar Kun), The Mandalorian Wars, and the Jedi Civil War (which would be split into two movies and cover both KOTOR 1 and 2, and also give Revan, Bastila, and Meetra a MUCH better ending than they get in the book and MMO).
I think the idea of what Revan truly was is remarkable. He is one of the only ones of his kind; someone capable of studying the Light and Dark without completely succumbing to the corruption of the Dark Side or the influence of the light. In the end, he wasn't a Jedi, Sith, Dark Jedi, Grey Jedi, or even a Bendu. He was something completely different, something almost indescribable
Lol. Purity of the light.
There's really only one sentence that perfectly describes Revan, and it was said by his master, Darth Traya: "Revan was the HEART of The Force."
He was the balance in the force
revan is a perfect example of why anakin was not the only chosen one
Well the father was an idiot.
i don't consider the extended star wars story and universe in the clone wars to be very valid at the best of times.
Robert W. Lester What do you mean?
lucas didn't have any part in revans creation so his input dose not matter...
while revan didn't hold the title of the chosen one he sure was one in spirit and you need only look at all his achievements to see that
There are 3 kind's of Revan.
The 1st is the light one his name is Master-Revan the Jedi.
The 2nd is the dark one his name Is Darth-Revan the Sith.
The 3rd is the final one his name is just Revan the Je'daii.
They host the same body and share the memories, BUT they are not the same man.
OMEGALPHALICORN PRIMUNSICRON on the first part revan had a name, he took the name revan after claiming a mandolorian mask
carnage1171 lol when people try to sound smart, am I right?
AngryGoats555 I know it angers me. (ꐦ ಠ皿ಠ )
so he was a bendu a master of the light and dark
You forgot the 4th Revan, the one who went insane after 200 years of being kept alive via torture and tried to commit genocide on the Sith genome.
What is Revan to me? He is the ultimate Star Wars character.
Revan is a man who truly mastered the Force, light and Dark. One must wonder if that is how it was truly meant to be all along.
Love Revan!
love your channel.
Love that you love my channel!
you do good vids. keep them up. i liked the snoke theory vids, such as the one about vitiate.
Robert W. Lester Thanks man!
Hello!
I wish Revan wasn't just cast aside by Disney.
you mean cast aside by Lukas film
Look, I'm not going to argue who did it. Revan was cast aside. Period. I wish it wasn't the case.
pnut eighty-seven As they have yet to release anything to contradict KOTOR, I won't say they just threw him away. I'd go so far as saying "legends" is where he belongs, because everything known about him in the rest of the saga is going to just be a legend.
Aside from the stuff that was already out of print, it's not like the old stories were discontinued. They're still around for everyone to enjoy. Besides, everything is canon from a certain point of view (except the Holiday Special. I don't think anybody wants that one back). Both versions happened as part of two different timelines in a pair of parallel universes or alternate dimensions.
pnut eighty-seven wE hAVe KYlO rEn tHo hE is No cRi bAby whAtsOever xdddddd (sarcasm just in case people dont understand)
Coolest character in all Star Wars lore
Revan is one of my favorite Star Wars characters.
Revan should be cannon
Canon
Like if you agree
I agree. He and Darth Bane are among the best of the EU.
starwars 1515 what is cannon?
A friendly Spazmoid "official" history. Anything else Star Wars is deemed to not be true
Revan movie starring keanu reeves
john tan ho tai that would be dope
his ego is unsalted
I want Arnold Schwarzenegger to play a Jedi, then Darth Lord, then Gray Jedi lol
woa
his son can play a young jedi becoming a knight and arnold can play the twisted old sith who rejects the darkside.
Great video. Revan is one of my favourite characters in Star Wars, although I admit my opinion is biased because you actually get to be Revan in KOTOR.
How about a video on how powerful Revan was, and how he would compare to the Jedi and Sith in the movies?
I bet he is your favorite but grammar isn't
I've read his comment a few times and I can't seem to find a problem with his grammar.
If you're talking about him spelling "favourite" with an extru "u" instead of "favorite", it's not incorrect, since it's the UK English spelling of said word.
(Other examples of an extra "u" in a word are: colour, armour, favour, saviour, etc.)
If what I've pointed out isn't what you were referring to, do correct me.
Revan philosophy is based on Bruce Lee's tea cup. He learns many, take the good and discard the bad and add a bit of his own. His Niman is formless, it has all style yet none at the same time.
capz Yes, I'm from Australia. That's how we spell the word. We also tend to replace z with s, like with words such as prioritise. This is the first time I've ever been called out on it though.
Well, the popular consensus is that Revan is on par with the likes of Bane, or Vitiate (hey Vititate won, but Revan didn't go out like a bitch, he held his own, and made Vitiate hurt had it not been for Vitiates use of Sith sorcery, he wouldn't have survived) so, basically one tier lower than Sidious.
Personally, I think Star Wars fans (most, not all) tend to be a bit biased in favor of Sidious, and Vader. Frankly, I think Revan could definitely take Vader, and I'm reasonably certain he'd kill Sidious, but die in the process.
can you make a video about sith alchemy or sith magic pls pls
magic in star wars is an odd concept
koudacyen it is simply another name for the force
YEESSSS
Kim
yes?
To me, Darth Revan was a much cooler character when it was believed that he took on the role of a Sith and overthrew the Republic out of necessity to prepare the galaxy to defend itself against the true Sith empire. Turning Jedi instead of killing them. Preserving military bases and planets instead of wiping them out. But no, we find out he was just doing someone else's bidding and was actually turned to the dark side. He went from interesting to cliche very quickly.
Fuck you SWTOR.
Tyler Mason
Just ignore the SWTOR crap and believe that Kotor 2 is the end for now. Hopefully, when Disney and EA get their heads off their asses, they will authorize Obsidian to create a proper sequel to Kotor 2.(I can dream)
I like to think he did break free of Vitiate's control and the motivation you described is his true one. It would make sense - I have a theory that Revan had the mental strength to free himself more than Malak did which was what led to Malak's excessive destructiveness and the conflict between them (yes it must have been an ongoing rivalry before Malak's betrayal because Revan cut off Malak's jaw at some point). Although... believing that would mean Malak was 100% a victim in the whole thing which is sad #prayforalek2k17
It is stated that he did break Vitiates hold on him, so he went on to find the Star Forge with Malak and returned with his grand empire to conquer the republic and prepare them for the True Sith
SWTOR? That abomination didn't exist.
KOTOR made a great story for all we Revans. SWOTOR ruined it all.
Depends on the class you play as in my opinion.
pretty much.
Dirk Schwartz I'm a Sith Warrior and Jedi Consular guy myself.
I like Swtor and KOTOR 1 and 2
sheenak56 With you brother.
I look at Revan mostly as he was ported in the book by Drew Karpyshyn. A force user with unmatchable power. His ability to use both light and dark sides of the force made him unusual to say the least. Only someone like the emperor that had the combined force powers of a planet was able to stop him. Revan in my opinion is the greatest force user in star wars history. 😆
Revan is everything yet he is nothing
Revan's a person. That's why he's as good as he is.
+slyfer60 well not really,he was a blank slate that you meant to fill and shape him as you want. The thing is Revan works the best the least we know about him,the desing, the mask, the lack of first hand informations, even the amnesia meant to create an enigmatic and misterious figure, Revan is not a person, he is an idol.

Yes but there is always the canon version of him for the story writers hence why the exile's default name was Meetra Surik and her being female.
Nazmi Ahmad Yes and they fucked him and the exile over by a mediocre at best book and a crappy MMO.
They didn't made a good job of him and meetra, obviously.
I do not believe that Revan should be considered light or dark: instead allow him to be remembered as one who didn't shun the force in any way, one who was responsible for some of the most influential decisions in Star Wars, and one who should be respected. Long live the Prodigal Knight!
Revan: Badassery incarnate, long live the Revanchist.
I remember when this channel was at 20k subs. Great job The Stupendous Wave. Your videos are some of the best star wars videos on all of CZcams. Can't wait till you reach 1 million subs.
Thanks for this video mate!
Revan is far and away my favorite character. I want him as canon so badly.
I'm so obsessed with Star Wars. I've been subscribed forever and I think this is the first time I've commented... lol
I'm making my entire Halloween costume from scratch. It's Kyle Ren. It's been so much fun to make.
I love listening to Star Wars mythology.
Kylo Ren* Autocorrect right?
I would watch the crap out of that southpark episode.. With Kyle Ren
Great video man! I remember discussing Revan and canon with you way back when on one of your earliest videos! :)
What a great video man. As a huge fan of Revan, (Pre SWTOR Revan) I loved the way you explained Revan's Legacy. He really is easily one of my favourite characters within Star Wars. He does not condemn either sides of the force... which I love.
Well done man, love your work. - Can't wait for the next one
I'm not sure that Kotor online , should count as cannon . I kinda hate how they slapped Revan around to show how powerful the New God head Emperor was
This guy gets it.
well i mean its not canon either way its EU, however i agree Kotor online was shit and should be disregarded even in EU
Its uhhh....called SWTOR
who cares you know what I mean
Tophef Tyr Kotor is the upcoming expansion for the game. People call the game kotor now
Great video. Revan is my favourite Sith/Jedi of all time.
Dude, I enjoy your videos!! Thank you for giving Revan a lot of attention, as he is my favorite Jedi/Sith in the entire Star Wars lore.
Very interesting, I'm studying the attitudes and mindsets of the two orders. Thanks
I always find the sith way more interesting than the Jedi...
Yuri Stormeye He wasn't a sith.
Trumpty Dumpty Nor was he a jedi.
Revans my favorite bc he utilized both sides.
Sad I couldn't get the LEGO Revan minifig on force friday.
thx for making this stupendous really happy you took my comment into thought
I love that, a man torn between the light, and the dark, but never broken.
No doubt Revan was a skilled duelist and force user, but I suspect many characters would have been on par with his level.
I think Revan's truest strength was his ability to see the greater picture and his understanding of the Force. His strategic mind, knowledge and cunning is what made him a dangerous adversary, and I would dare say that those said skills would have been on par with Darth Sidious(if not greater, since he basically saved the sith from extinction). Though he would not compare with Sidious in regards to saber skills or use of the force.
I think his truest strength was attracting and leading people. (Why does everyone seem to forget that he had friends.)
BEST VIDEO EVER FOR THE BEST CHARACTER IN ALL STAR WARS there is no two ways about it Reavn is the coolest Jedi&sith and this video is the indisputable truth
I'm new to your channel and have been watching everything over the past week and I just can't stop hearing Matthew Santoro in your voice, is it just me? Anyways Love the videos :D
Revan belongs to neither the dark nor the light, he is the force
Revan: Rey i am your ancestor
Rey: Oh, that explains a lot.
Would be interesting at least. To be awesome she would need to be very power more so than Kylo Ren, charismatic, smart, and above all else have an incredibly open mind embracing knowledge no matter the source and do what needs to be done.
Rey isn't going to become a darkside user.
EvidensInsania Not what I meant.
Samir Saweras You were saying that Rey would be one of these bullshit Mary Sue grey jedi who use dark side powers but totally not become corrupted by their power. But that's not going to happen.
Can you make a video about Ajunta Pall, Karness Muur and the others, basically the second great schism and the dark jedi who were exiled ?
"The man who became a Jedi, then Sith, and then something more. As a Jedi Revan was a warrior who slaughtered armies, as a Sith Revan was a teacher who trained a thousand dark apprentices. Revan mastered both the light and the dark side, war and peace..... Eventually both Jedi and Sith turned on Revan and instead of being destroyed Revan was reborn. Revan was stripped of power, of memory, of life and left to rot but Revan survived and still relearned the ways of the force." - Dousin Rvanite on Dromund Kaas SWTOR
Revan is like the best character in Star Wars.
I think darth kenobi is not getting attention
ya
YEAH!
Darth Kenobi?
that bitch is getting 3 movies! lol
No way.
I love this video and on the subject of when revan was the most powerful, I feel that this is the time period in between his book and the old Republic game as he was fully in tune with the light and dark and the light side of him had not been killed by an imperial strike team in the game.
Another great video. Any chance of getting a Darth Zannah video of any kind
can u make a video on how sith became "spirits" and how many sith spirits there were in legends/eu
Force Ghosts not "Spirits"
Ode Valkamo stay cheeki breeki my gopnik ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Etzel always ;)
He isn't cannon but i know what you saying as well ...
he let go of the dark side and found balance I think
What would happen if Count Dooku told Anakin's n that's Palpatine was the Sith Lord in Episode 3?
Not believe him. Who would you believe more, the Chancellor of the Republic who you've known since you were a young child or your enemy?
Hiqqo What if Dooku laid out the proof. He has proof that Palpatine is the Sith Lord
Would you listen to the man who cut your arm off? The man who has been the mind behind countless friends of yours dying? The man who tried to kill the woman you love?
Not to mention Dooku would have been trying to do this in the midst of a Battle over Coruscant wherein his subordinate, Grievous, was attempting to flee.
annakin would want to be part of the team to take down palpatine, and, after accepting the dark within himself to defeat/kill palpatine/sidious, he would be the sole survivor of that fight, becoming the most poweful sith ever and annihilating everything/everyone in his path.
The couldn't, he didn't know that himself
Well said man great video :)
Thx for this channel.its give alot of answers about Star Wars.
Wish to learn about the master of raven (kraia)(darth traya)
This video pleases me.
Would he be considered a grey jedi in a sense, Wave?
Depends on what your definition of a Gray Jedi is though but yes, Revan can be considered to be a Gray Jedi.
Why can't he just be a Force-Using Man? This right here's the problem with all the Factions Light or Dark they don't see People they just see Colors.
Just wanna haaaaaul back the olll' right palm and give ONE BIG sense-instilling galactic omega, Force SLAPP. Maybe even throw a couple kiokens in to say f the rules this universe's inhabitants have instilled. Confounded ninnies be amok af.
good video ive always wanted to learn about revan and bane i always thought revan was one of the most powerful sith and this backed it up
I love that quote. "A man who walks many paths leaves his footprints on many trails". Could definitely be a cautionary line about being careful of the decisions you make and the effects they have on others, because others could see the path you took and be inspired by it, whether it be for good or ill. As for how I see Revan though, I've always thought of Revan as a true Jedi and servant of the light (post his redemption of course). Most would label him as a Grey Jedi, or blank slate as you called him, but to me this isn't true. Revan was what the Jedi should have always been because the way the Jedi often did things wasn't always in accordance with the light and indeed a lot of their teachings wasn't either. The obvious one being the rule that forbids Jedi to marry and have families because of the concern that it will lead them to the dark side. The problem with this is that it is a rule created and enforced purely because of something the Jedi are supposed to be without....fear. Fear is the only reason that rule exists, the order doesn't trust its own members to have the self control and understanding to have a life and be a Jedi. I've always felt that if that rule had been done away with (or preferably never existed at all) no where near as many jedi would have fallen to the dark side. To quote Jolee Bindo: "How to control yourself while your in love, THATS what the Jedi should teach you. But love will save you not condemn you".
wait, hold on...in your previous video "The Most Powerful Ancient Sith" you mention that Revan claims the mask of Hord, contrary to here - Mask of Mandalor. Don't get me wrong, huge fan of you vids, and SW (all SW)...just curious if it was conscious, or just an honest mistake??
He took both masks.
Panayot Dimitrov the mask that Darth Revan wore was the mask of a Mandalorian who died on Cathar during their genocide of the planet. Revan took the mask and vowed to not take it off until he defeated the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders.
The Stupendous Wave Reven mask was neither of them he wore one of an unnamed female mandolorian warrior and vowed to never remove it until the mandolorian threat was ended
ahhhh, that makes a lot more sense now...also, I just picked up the new black series Revan Action Figure....it is sexy AF!!!
Boss Gaming in KOTOR you can go into Tulak Hord's tomb and get his mask from the sarcophagus.
This is a theory of snoke what if he is a villain in rouge one and has returned in Star Wars ep 7
Aman Bhambra It is confirmed snoke will not appear in Rogue One | A Star Wars Story
Aman Bhambra Snoke will not be in Rouge One.
stfu about snoke
uncle ruckus waaah
Interesting video, I have always been intrigued by Darth Revan.
Stupendous, this just makes me more curious about the Jedi and Sith holocrons. Were they just repositories of knowledge, or did they contain the consciousness of old masters? In addition to being essentially text books, was it always in Legends / canon that they could also be used as keys to access hidden truths (like we recently saw on Star Wars Rebels)? Also what book / comic / game / whatever were holocrons first mentioned?
Thanks for a fantastic series of videos! I like it when you say "have a great day" in the end, because I tend to watch these videos first thing in the morning.
Star Wars would be so much better if he was still canon
We need a Revan based Star Wars trilogy. Without the SWTOR shittiness
Can you do one explaining holocrons? origin, materials, faults, how they are made, sith and jedi, etc? Thanks great video
The Stupendous Wave could you do a video that tells us what information is inside Telos Holocron
Has anyone ever made a video about how Revan's and Kylo Ren's masks look similar?
anarbitur glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks their masks look similar
Revan's mask once belonged to mandalore the ultimate, until he was killed by Revan. Ben's lightsaber design is based on a lightsaber design Revan came up with, so it could be the case that Ben based his mask on Revan's mask. But neither in canon nor legends do they say that it is.
Star Wars Logic Ohhh. Interesting.
anarbitur Indeed
Star Wars Logic Revans mask was owned by a mandalorian that tried and died to protect the slaughter of Cathar. Revan has not been stated to create the cross guard design as far as I know and I believe Ben adores his grandfather and therefore shaped his mask after Vader more.
I deserve TO BE CANNON
Shut up *breaks his connection to the Force*
Excellent video as always!! Now can you please make a video about How Powerful Was Revan? Not just Darth Revan, but also Revan during the Mandalorian Wars; during his final battle against Darth Malak; during his second confrontation with Vitiate alongside the Exile and Lord Scourge; during the battle at the Foundry (where he died like a bitch); and during Shadow of Revan.
I ask this because ever since The Old Republic MMO was released, Revan's feats seem to have been wildly variable. He was able to defeat Malak even though Malak was continuously Force Draining the power of at least half a dozen near-dead Jedi to buff himself up. Yet when he left Bastila and his child for Dromund Kaas, he was easily outflanked and captured by Darth Nyriss. Then 300 years later, he was easily defeated by the Sith Strike Team at the Foundry. Then some 5-6 years later, his Dark HALF is easily whooping the asses of Satele Shan, Darth Marr, Lana Beniko, The Hero of Tython, among others. Obviously, he was eventually overpowered by Satele & co. But that was just his dark HALF. Speaking only for myself, it really seems hard to gauge and compare Revan's power vis-a-vis other powerful Star Wars characters. So a video clarifying that would be awesome.
Awesome video. Could you do a video on holochrons??
i think Disney are a bunch of damn fools not to do an Old Republic show, on netflix or not (just not on fucking regular wack ass twink ass network tv).... the truly good thing about disney having all this is that if/when they decide to tease our scrot's with news of an old republic ANYTHING, at least they can afford the best/proper writers and directors for it, so as to HOPEFULLY not "ruin" it too much...they obviously know what a money maker they have with everything star wars, or they wouldnt have paid an ungodly amount of money for it. When they finally drop a KOTOR show on us (and i think they will), i'm sure guys like the awesome Revan will get his own dedicated season or 2...shyt, they can give The Governor on Walking Dead 2 seasons, Revan at least should get that many!
Revan is fucking awesome
Mesa traned disa hisen
New video about revan just as I wanted to listen to something about him:) Nice!!
you should explain more of these different force user groups like, Zakuulan Knights/Sions, Mystics, Green Jedi etc.
Can anyone explain why the rule of two isn't a stupid concept? Why would I take an apprentice that wants to overthrow and kill me? If I'm a master of the sith I wouldn't take an apprentice even if I started out as one. I wouldn't put someone in the position to do to me what I did to my master. That just dumb.
that's the rule of one. but the rule of two is more of a long side way to ensure that the dark side always grows
no its called evolution
the perfect sith
- yodas species
- good force potential
- don't get an apprentice
- meditate by yourself
the idea is that, in order for the sith to thrive and become more powerful, they raise an apprentice to become stronger than themselves, an apprentice that has to overthrow them and in turn teach a force-sensitive of their own. think of it as a sacrifice "for the common good".
think of it this way: they'd rather raise an apprentice to kill themselves, but also tons of jedi, than let the jedi live peacefully as they're left alone. "blinded by hatred" is accurate in this situation.
uhhhh am i not remembering something? Zannah beat Bane fair and square. Now the author did do a BS cliche move where "oh a little part of him lives on in her" at the end but for the most part Zannah is all Zannah.
Can you please never do a face-reveal, not because I think you will be ugly or anything, it's just that many people (including me) kind of create a character when they hear your voice. So yeah, cool video tho :)
A great video!
To me Revan is someone who was not only endowed with great potential, but he was able to eventually gain a perspective on the Force that only his wife Bastila Shan had, which in a lot of ways allows insight into the true nature of the Force: It's neither light nor dark sides, but both. You cannot have emotion without peace, and you cannot have passion without serenity. This is something Revan and Bastila both came to understand, and they ultimately came to resent the narrow-minded view of their Jedi brethren. One can imagine how they both would feel if they saw what would become of their Order and how low they fell, to say nothing of how The Chosen One was treated by said Order.
What would have happened if Anakin was trained by Revan-reborn and a redeemed Bastila? One can only imagine...🤔😎
Great video!!! Reven was the ultimate bad ass. In my opinion he successfully commanded both light and dark which very few could do. I'd love to see the character resurrected and put to good use.
oh look at me i can use both sides of the force hahahaha
hey guys three minutes in and ready to join the dark side
I'd love to see a vid about the Jedi Exile (Meetra Surik) from KotoR II
Can you do, "What if Tulak Hord was alive during the clones wars?" please. Love your vids! Keep' em comin' man.
Could you please do a video on the timeline of the galaxy starting with times before the Rakata if possible up until and beyond the yuuzhan-vong war again if possible. I would like you to use characters as reference to when this time was or give examples of important events and characters through the galactic timeline.
I was watching the force awakens when I was nodfid about his new video and I loved it its interesting to see Revens impact on the star wars universe and his lasting effects
Good video.
What will happen to the New Republic? We saw a glimpse of them while they were killed, but I definitely want to see more of them. They should have some ships or troops somewhere.
I love your videos man
Revan practically defies definition, at least in the terms most would use to describe force wielders. The last time we saw him in SWTOR, he was split in two, but neither half truly seemed to be either dark or light. When he unified himself, he turned to the player character, and gives a short description of their attitudes and actions, describing them as a "fine example." Given that this can be to a pure light side character, or a pure dark side character, the man seems to see beyond any concept of adherence to a strict code. He seems to see the affect a person and their actions have on life itself. That's interesting, too, given that's exactly how Emperor Valkorion seems to see things.
StupendousWave! Could you do a video of what happend to Lord Scourge after the book of Revan ended. Thanks
Im Super happy you did a video about Revan !! I would have to agree that in my book he is a blank slate that served the Force not anything else.
can we get a video like once a week or when possible just focusing on one character like Revan his achievements, background history etc. In a way just a day dedicated to one sith/jedi or any character but longer videos like going into full depth as possible
I think Revan was how Kreia described him in Kotor 2: That didn't fell to the dark side but sacrificed himself to get the power to defeat the Mandalorians and prepared his armada to fight the sith emperor in the unknown regions and was brought back by the Jedi council to his old selfless nature after they wiped out his memory and finally found the near perfect balance between light and dark after the exile returned his full memory after giving him his mask...
... but then he also got a little crazy after he was sort of killed in SWTOR but again got redeemed as his body and light side spirit were combined and he died finally in peace after his 300 years of imprisonment and torture by the Vitiate
i didn't realize revan had such an impact on bane. thanks for the information!
I have a few video suggestions or fan request if you may kindly consider for your next videos;
What if Padme survived on what happened in Mustafar?
What if Darth Maul killed Obi Wan along with Qui gon Jin?
What If Palpitine wasn't elected chancellor?
A video on the most powerful non force user in all of star wars (if there is one)
Sith chemistry and alchemy
A summary of the life of Yoda, because he's lived 900 years, and I think I really want to know what's he's experienced.
Do you recon the Jedi's policies and actions are wrong?
I have many video requests and i'd love if you make one these, sorry if it sounds bit demanding and just to say I don't want to come off as you thinking that. I love your vids and keep up the good work!!
1-if padmé survived she will raise Luke and liea and obi wan well train both and they well defeat vader and sidious with obi-wan in the death star 2
2-if maul killed them both then he will track down Skywalker and give him to Darth sidious and they will train him in the dark side of the force
3- if palpy wasn't the chancellor then his plans will fail and he will have to change it but it will be even more harder than his original plan and will probably fail
4- the most powerful non-force user is General Grievous
i love this guy, btw liked the video and love ur channel
the lightsaber scene in TFA was the force vision ability that Vos had in the clone wars therefore it showed places the lightsaber had been and possibly where it would go in the near future.
perhaps do a video on the Dark Council before and after Zakuul DLC, especially story on Darth Jadus
I love Revan as a character because he was all three: a jedi, sith lord, and gray jedi. He also had a romance and was charismatic, intelligent, and adaptable. I remember playing the Knights of the Old Republic games on xbox and I loved his storyline. I even read a book describing his last adventure and his death. While he was a powerful dark side user I was most impressed by what happened after he turned back to the light becoming a gray jedi. I felt that was when he was at his best.
I hope you can make a series about the whole lore of star wars, because im pretty confused about these type of things thousands of years before the movies
can you make a video about the bounty hunter wars?
id love to see a source list or your videos. particularly this one about Revan. i read The old republic: Revan, but was disappointed on how much it focused on this one 3 yearish period of his life. I would like to know more about before and after this book.
very good episode
Revan is probably my favorite character in Legends continuity. With all the hints pointing to Darth Treya (sorry if I misspelled it) in Rebels, I'm still holding out hope that they'll bring Revan back.
Revan Is my favorite Star Wars character because he walks that line in the middle. Not only was he powerful and influential on both sides when he was alive, but also had a huge impact after his death on both sides. I would love if Disney would do Old Republic saga films, maybe after episode 9 is done.
Make Revan Cannon!!!
