Darths revan and traya are two of my personal favourite sith, two of the smartest and in my opinion two of the greatest
I’d have to read more on her lore, but based on this short excerpt, Kreia may have been the only force wielder to actually have hit the nail on the head. The force being something that guides you, gives it an intelligence. And there being a light side and dark side makes it seem like a deity playing both sides to manipulate. Kreia seeking to control it and both aspects vs letting it control her, seems like the wisest of takes, imo. Though I can see how that would drive one mad, especially considering everyone else around her was a willing puppet.
Revan and Kreia have always sort of sat in their own unique camps, even separate from everyone else, including eachother despite Kreia having taught Revan. They both just became whatever the hell they needed to if it meant seeing their goals to completion. Revan was probably the more admirable of the two, since Kreia's goal of killing the force would've been the single most evil act ever committed had she somehow succeeded (I like the think The Force itself masterminded her death the same way it did with Darth Plagueis since The Force does seem to take extreme offense to anyone threatening it in any direct manner) Even so, they're both two of the most unique ideological force users in the entire series, along with Plagueis, Dooku, Qui-Gon and Luke.
She kind of had a point though. If the Force controls the destiny of everyone in the galaxy, then every evil act can be laid at its feet. Maybe the galaxy really would be better off without it.
@@WarriorVirtue That's true, many many cycles of war and death have been caused by two factions of force sensitives just for the sake of balance with all the normal non-force sensitives getting caught up in the middle of that meat grinder.
(Sorry for the wall of text ahead, I got carried away)
The main issue I have is that killing the force would be an even bigger act of genocide that people might realize. The force doesn't just touch sentient life, it touches all life, rocks, dirt, plants, fauna, food, water, probably the suns and stars and moons, even the very air itself, all of this stuff deeply linked to the force could potentially die too if Kreia had succeeded. The very very few sentients, if any at all, who do somehow survive, their worlds would become dead and uninhabitable. Kreia wouldn't be endangering just all life, but potentially ALL LIFE.
If it were just sentients alone that'd bite the dust with the force, then sure, there's a chance a very small few might survive to live on. Though even that's a big if since basically all sentients are unable to let it go of the force and would die, force sensitives will choosing death willingly rather than accept life without the force. Even non-force sensitives would die without being aware there is a choice, let alone how to live without this thing that's an integril part of them yet they can't feel or interact with like Force Sensitives do.
That's the scary thing about Star Wars, its a galaxy that's probably doomed with or without the force. Luke was originally meant to be the solution, but, well, Disney happened, lol. Though I certainly sympathize with Kreia's idea, the risk is much higher than I think even she knew.

Using a purple lightsaber implies that the user has some dark tendencies. The only two individuals who used a purple lightsaber were Revan and Mace Windu. They were not to be trifled with.
Revan was completely right. As always. His lightsabers are balance,mix. Both light and dark,hand in hand. As it is. Mace's lightsaber and style are also this. Though Mace despises dark side utterly and uses Vapaad against dark siders when he can. Kreia is fantastic,brilliant,even great teacher. She is mad,she went crazy in the end. Her motives and thoughts are completely eradic and incoherent. I remember last missions in KOTOR. And final duels. Revan was balance,peace. Great holocron. May the Force be with you :)

I always head canon the appearance of a purple blade to be one of a nuanced view on the force as a whole, when you look at Mace, Revan, and Kreia they all share a trait of understanding the force in a way that go against the norm, Mace identified he had darkness in him during a period of time where the dark side was something the clone wars Jedi feared, Revan didn't fall to the dark side initially he chose it something his fellow Jedi, Malek included couldn't do as they all fell for the corrupting nature of the dark side, and Kreia downright hated both sides of the force and saw the force itself as her enemy all of these views are unique singular prospectives on the force which is what makes me think that's a requirement to attune with a purple kyber crystal.
Revan is the Qui-Gon of the Old Republic era.

What I wanna know is why Kylo has an unstable crystal in a cross guard configuration? That was used to vent instability, but I know he enjoyed the crackling and instability of his blade. Was it for sheer pleasure, or was he so conflicted that he nearly destroyed his crystal in the bleeding process and no amount of prevention could keep it from becoming unstable when focused through a saber.
During the bleeding the crystal literally made HIM bleed instead of the crystal.
When I fought Darth Traya I had a white lightsaber.
Rather than signifying someone who walks the path between the light and dark it signifies someone who is in control of their inner darkness

The Jedi are the 3 natural colors green for the forests and blue azure for the oceans/Cyan for the sky, and yellow is the sun I actually would like if the sith or just other dark adapts would use purple cuz purple is not a '"natural, earthy color, it represents mystery and Royalty and self entitlement also it's a color that is very sinister

i just don't understand why the purple saber couldn't be interpreted as the "grey jedi" when it comes to windu.it's a balance of both sides, at least with his fighting style.

Mace is able to use emotion to become more powerful in a duel (vaapad) but he does not give in to the emotion like a sith does when they use juyo.

Can someone tell me the difference between canon and legends? Is legends just George Lucas' world and canon is what Disney wants their world to be? They aren't connected? They're just 2 completely separate things?
George Lucas originally had considered his 6 films, and their novels are canon. Also, The Clone Wars movie, and series, not to be confused with the micro series, that is just called Clone Wars. Lucas considered pretty much everything else to be not canon. He simply let authors have the licensing rights. Those stories, now under Disney called Star Wars Legends, used to be known as the Star Wars Expanded Universe (EU). There are many works in the EU that would just be their own thing. Likewise, there are also many EU works that take care to not contradict established canon, in which case, those were considered by the fan base to be canon, until Lucas said so, or something else contradicts it.
As a side note, a lot of Disney Star Wars borrows many concepts, and things from the EU/Legends.

@@jacquizzz3476 I should have fully clarified. I'm sorry. The Marvel comics from the last decade continuing up to now are canon. Anything labeled as "Star Wars Legends" is not currently canon.
Currently, canon includes every film,, official film novelizations, The (2008) Clone Wars series (not the earlier micro series), Rebels series, Tales Of The Jedi series, and the Marvel comics from the last decade (I don't remember the exact year the canon comics started releasing. It was sometime last decade.).
Disney+ features older, now non-canon series, like Droids, Caravan Of Courage, and Lego Star Wars Adventures. I'm not sure if Young Jedi is canon. Video games are not canon. George Lucas originally said The Force Unleashed was canon. It is not now. Shadows Of The Empire is also non-canon.
Revan did use a purple lightsaber as a redeemed grey jedi, so yeah…
