Sora Bulq deserves more exposure and recognition. He survived the arena battle on Geonosis and fought Mace Windu to a stalemate in the early stages of the Clone Wars
He's Legends, so there's never going to be more exposure and recognition under Disney.

Windu was a good Jedi I just wish that he would have taken more masters with him that day in the chancellor’s office. I do think that he did the right thing in not writing down anything regarding Vaapad.

He was so supremely arrogant that he tried to assassinate the Supreme Chancellor without authorization , which led to the jedi being exterminated for treason .
@@lordofpain3476 he didn’t need authorization, he was second in command of the Jedi Order. As for the extermination of the Jedi, Palpatine/Darth Sidious was a Sith Lord.
@@lordofpain3476 It is the duty of all Jedi to destroy the Sith. If Qui Gon Jinn had taken out Darth Maul on Tatooine with the help of Obi Wan Kenobi he would have stayed alive and been able to train Anakin and he NEVER would have turned into Darth Vader.
@@lordofpain3476 the mistake he and the council made wasn't trying to arrest Palpatine. It was in continuingly not trusting Anakin and allowing him to be manipulated by Palpatine. At the end of the day it's Anakin's fault, but he didn't get much in the way of support from the Jedi either.

Now this video is a treasure. It never occurred to me that Windu deliberately destroyed every mention of Vaapad in the order. It’s completely understandable after each practitioner of the saber form falling to the dark side (especially Depa Billaba who was the closest thing he had to a daughter). I actually think if they do a spin off series where mace is alive I'd like to see him with an apprentice that uses vaapad and we get flash backs to their training
I think Windu was wrong about Vaapad he should have work on it is weakness which is ironically rejecting the dark side in one’s self. If the Jedi learned to accepted their darker half and truily mastering instead pushing deep down it will come on out just a lot uglier. Along with only using against darksiders, imagine Obi-wan was THE master of both form 3 and Vaapad he would have killed Darth Vader using he own darkness against him while slowly tiring him down.
In a way the only person who can truily kill Darth Vader was Anakin Skywalker not Luke or even the Empeorer himself. So we would have traded one metaphor and Obi-wan’s point of view for another
Mace could have forgave is apprentice and continues to work on the form with her to perfect it
I'm glad the form died with Windu. Could you imagine how much more dangerous Sidious would have become had he learned about the Form 7 variant?

I think it’s more a case of him regretting teaching it to others, whom Don’t have the same control and discipline over channeling ones inner darkness into mutual benefit to their saber strokes without losing control.
Plus one has to wonder if Sidious destroyed all knowledge of it, given it was the form that defeated him in a one in one duel and nearly stopped the grand plan at the last possible moment if not for Anakin..

Whats to stop someone from reinventing it? What if they know the concept and then observe a Vaapad creature? Oh is the name of the form recorded? Because that be a big giveaway and make it a lot easier to recreate it.

I have so much power through VPAD! But it’s such a good form and so amazing I’m just the only one who can do it! I’m just so powerful no one understands how stressful it is to try to stop those weaklings from using it who can’t handle it.
Creating a form for oneself is fine so long as no one else is taught it. That was Mace's greatest mistake regarding the form.
The only reason Mace didn't turn is because he had the ability of shadder point. If you want to discuss it, let me know?

I feel like the ideology of the Jedi during the time, prevented the ability fore Vapod to flourish. Vapod being a hybrid style, had no chance of success with such polarizing thoughts on light and dark sides. I feel like Macy’s perspective would’ve had to of swing more to the Gray side in order to have the understanding of how better to teach the style.
Windu needs a show to himself. I don’t need him to survive RotS, but stuff showing his life story and adventures would be awesome

There is a small thought about how the Jedi order feared it. And fear being a path to the dark side, and the form being almost like a mirror. Took such aspects into itself as it was channeled. The very smallest of imperfections ruining the superconducting loop, and corroding the jedi from within. Not because the form was bad or evil, but because they slowly let go of the hard discipline the form demanded. In exchange for the easy method of the dark side

One of the best things about Vapaad is that when it was mastered , Mace Windu was the only one so far, the stronger in the Darkside your enemy was ,the better you performed and the stronger you become. This is why I believe that Mace really did win in the Chancellors office against Palpatine.

He’s a super popular character and therefore has his haters. I think most trolls probably notice,(as i have) that a lot of Windu fans are very lets say “passionate” and always have to debate those who criticize him. Therefore said trolls know that comments criticizing Mace will likely get people to comment back with some sort of retort. Although i do think that maybe some of these content creators might not be fans, but if u notice on those “did Mace really beat Palps” videos pretty much every single comment is saying wtf obviously Mace smacked the s#!+ out that old sith bi+

Go listen to it and tell me their argument was not just "mace didn't be Palpatine because we don't want it to be case" they acknowledged the book explaining how mace beat him clean, the acknowledged that George Lucas said mace beat him clean, and their counter argument was "we disagree". it's honestly sad. I've never seen anything considered Canon be argued against that hard
What form was he using before vapaad?
Vaapad requires acceptance of the users own dark emotions and the mastery/ ability to touch them without being overwhelmed.
Vaapad requires the user to use their own dark emotions to capture the energy from their opponent's darkside, then Vaapad allows them to redirect it. Users who cannot admit/ handle their own dark emotions are overwhelmed by the combination of both their dark emotions and their opponents. (Legends) Luke became a Dark master in his own right and could touch the dark side at will and control it, therefore could have mastered Vaapad as Windu did.
Perhaps in Disney cannon Windu can be retconned into having survived or created a holocron so Ventress can learn it and master it.
Form seven and beyond in general are forms whose power starts internally bringing to outside what truly sits within. The first six forms are there to defeat an external threat but beyond form six one must defeat or succumb to their true nature making form seven and beyond forms a true Sith can not progress to as to do form eight of Bendu's balance one would have to see into their own light and that by definition to a Sith is an abomination. In order to use Vaapad you must incorporate form three, two or one into your sequences in as a continuous loop to remain both calm and joyful. If at anytime one gets stuck in form two, four or five within Vaapad then the practitioner is only using form seven from their darkness limiting its ability be used in its full potential.
Vaapad requires humility and a willingness to be humble enough to learn and study as a newly formed Padawan at all times never knowing always becoming. The darkness thinks it is all knowing when by its nature knows nothing. In order to grow past one's darkness one must see it for its weakness but the passion of the fight overwhelms many whose darkness is their true nature and form seven brings their true internal nature to the fore. Unless one is willing to constantly look within themselves and remember no matter how Noble ones anger or rage becomes without seeking peace within oneself by constantly cycling from joy in curiosity, confusion to calm within themselves only then can one wield the power of form seven Vaapad and beyond. Vaapad only reveals what is the practitioner's truth within.
i feel like if any sith got ahold of this fighting form it could have been insanely distructuve. i do have a question though, he fought Palpatine, is there any risk that Palpatine could have revived this form given his incredible skill and knowledge?
Maybe other Jedi would’ve had a better chance at learning vaapad properly if they familiarized themselves with their own dark side better. It seems like they were mostly taught to just bury their feelings and pretend they didn’t exist.
Yet Quinlan Voss lived on. The question is did he teach it to anyone.

I understand why Windu regretted creating Vaapad. Mace tried to protect others from it. He created holocron as a warning also. Even if Ki Adi Mundi knew it. Turning opponent's darkness against them can be useful though. He was right to never record it and let it die with him. May the Force be with you too😊

Well lets just say Windu was wise to keep the form secret, i dont think anyone in war who cannot control that style should be able to use it, Mace's Padawan almost died because of the form style, so he is right to hide it.
The reason why they couldn't master it is because they are afraid of their own dark side.
The original Ja'adis could. Because they are not afraid.
Mace didn’t truly master vapaad. He decided to take a shortcut and kill palps instead of letting the senate decide based on the evidence. He did so because he knew exactly how dangerous palps was due to using his own power against him in their duel. And I would argue that this knowledge came from windu’s use of vapaad, mace ultimately deciding to kill palps was a philosophical failure to what vapaad was supposed to represent, fighting as hard as possible and then showing mercy at the end.
I do not believe Mace tried to destroy Vaapad. To ensure no one could steal the style, his training methods could be in security personal logs that only he or the order grandmaster could open. Focus and Discipline are the keys to mastering Vaapad, just like Electric Judgment. For a Jedi to use a dark side ability, he/she must have a powerful sense of determination to do what is right. Also, Jedi must have the discipline to know when to stop and not cross the line.
I think Windu more than most is Grey, neither light or dark.
To be honest, Mace Windu made the right decision to have Vapaad die with him, but he made a huge mistake in teaching it to others as the form is just to address HIS own inner darkness. If Anakin Skywalker learned Vapaad, he would've become Darth Vader.

It's HIS fault for NOT perfecting his unique Form 7 version into something Jedi CAN use. If he wanted to TRULY destroy it.. cuz in this special case as he ACTUALLY could... all he need do is train NO one else, record it nowhere, allow no records of its teaching an whe. He died made sure he did NEVER passing on any of it.

Secondly, dark jedi couldn't use vaapad, nor was it a "perfect lightsaber form" as this video claims. It was weak to multiple opponents and force abilities, which is why niman beats it.
It made sense to put Vapaad away, but I’m still hopeful he’s alive and started The Path, maybe Ventress found him. After Ahsokah’s run in with Anakin in the World between worlds and her taste of the darkside it would be nice if she needed Vapaad to harness her own recently unlocked dark side and Mace is somewhere with all the saved Jedi on Peridea somewhere.
We still don’t know how/where Ahsoka got Hurang, so maybe she connected with Mace Windu there, probably somewhere on Coruscant.

And yet again...TCW doesn't even hint at any of this. Sora Bulq, Depa Bilaba, and Quinlan Vos have all been retconned. However, Legends establishes the foundations and the basis of these 3 characters who studied Vapaad with Mace. So, I'm going with what Legends has written about Sora, Vos, and Depa. TCW and Disney are just trash to me.
No Star Wars literature or movies ever explains HOW he throws his opponents anger and darkness back on others. They just say that’s what the form does. And it upsets and confuses me lol.
He was my least favorite jedi! He was just to superior! He talked down to everyone! To bad dooku didn't get rid of him! The way he talked down to qui gon and was like the sith couldn't return without our knowing! Then the way he was like bring him before us while waving his hand. I'm glad anakin cut it off!
