Throttle Up
Do you make an aftermarket throttle body and MAF sensor for 1997 Chevy Silverado K1500 5.7L
Hello Eric, we don't have a throttle body for you because we only do electric throttle bodies. But we do have a lot for your vehicle. MAF, performance chips, programmers, pulley kit, throttle body spacer and more. Take a look at our site and see what all you want. Thanks for reaching out.
I have headers, cattless exhaust, cold air intake, electric fans, I just ordered your Jett tb spacer and was wondering if this would add additional hp? Do you have it for a 2003 Tahoe?
Yes it will add some torque and hp. You will see and feel a little difference. If you have a tuned throttle body then you will see the difference.
So if I add this TB and MAF will they throw on any check engine lights on my stock 2016 5.3?
No there shouldn't be any check engine lights on
Do you make these for a 2010 f250 with the 7 wire plug?
The throttle bodies we make are a replacement for the stock setup. But they max out air flow and have tuned electronics
Will you be coming out with a TB for the LS2 engines?
Hey Michael, we are always ceating new appliacations for vehicle products. We have alot of items available for that platform. Did you take a look at our site to see what we have?
I already have a CAI & aftermarket exhaust on my 2019 RAM 2500 PowerWagon (6.4L) and went all out with adding a Jet Stage-1 #91205, Jet TBI Spacer #62180, and JET Powr-Flo Throttle Body #76114. I have done the TB relearning process several times but am constantly getting a "Service Electronic Throttle Control" message and the idle just seems off. I removed the Stage-1 and did the TB relearning several more times with a short drive in between. The message still comes back and the check engine light is on. Any additional troubleshooting advice, or maybe I just got a bad part?
Hello Eric, sorry to hear about that, please contact our customer service to troubleshoot this further. Sounds like you have been doing the right steps, just contact our team so they can get this figured out for you.
The problem is them at you have a Ram…
@@tonymontanamalverde To provide an update: I did get a reply from Jet Performance Support and they clarified that there was something that changed with the 2019+ PowerWagon that makes the Throttle Body not compatible. Jet still doesn't have a solution and the vendor I bought the part from still hasn't updated their website to correct for the part being listed as compatible, even though many other retailers have already fixed their listings.
For installation do I need to disconnect the battery thanks.
yes you do. Any time you deal with the electronics or electronic components of a vehicle you need yo disconnect the battery
The truck is a 2010 superduty with a 5.4 has a 7 wire plug on it
Is it the stock setup? If so then our throttle body will fit that

Can i run one of these TB's and the Jet MAF on a 2006 ford 4.6 without a flash tune?
Hello, anytime you install anything electrical or that changes the parameters of the engine components you want to flash or reset your ECU so the computer can register the new item.
With the MAF yes you need to reset your ECU, with the throttle body need to also reset the ECU and you need to do a relearn process, so the throttle body knows how to operate and where open throttle is. If you do not reset the ECU after installing these then your vehicle will not run right, you can have major complications and more.
Always a good rule of thumb to reset your ECU after installing a new/aftermarket component.
@JetchipDotCom resetting is easier than flash tuning right? Is there a customer support member that can assist with the process?
@@Simple_Jack82 You are correct, flashing and resetting is kind of the same thing but, with flashing there can be more involved in the process.
We have install instructions on our site to assist you, you can also email or call into our customer support for assistance as well. Call 800-538-2447 or email customerservice@jetchip.com

Is it a plug and play upgrade or would I have to buy a tuner along side with the throttle body to avoid codes appearing on my dash?
Hey, yes it is basically a plug and play. You just need to reset the throttle blade after installing. It's very simple and takes less than a minute.
And no, no other tune or tuner is required to run this.

Hello there, looks like we only have a tuner for that model. What engine size is it?
@@JetchipDotCom 2.0L. You actually have a tuner for the 2.0L? If so then what's the gains? It doesn't have to be much cause I'd still purchase it.
I know AEM claims their intake gains about 8.15HP while an exhaust system from junbl gained another 3HP and I was thinking about changing the cat to an high flow cat from shark racing's website that's made from mando that makes OEM parts for alot of different car brands to get more out of these. I did find a couple of tuning files available for these that claims to gain you about 20+HP but I don't trust them.
@@MrTherandomvidsguy The gains from a tuner would be around 9-15 hp on a stock setup. Depending on what tune you run, gas grade, and other bolt ons you might add
@@JetchipDotCom cool. Are you able to make more products for these slow 2.0L engines? What I've thought about doing was boreing out the intake ports. And possibly slap a turbo on it although doing that won't end well. If you want to check out this link go ahead if you want. I've made a long list on what's available for these vehicles and even added your product to the list.
