Myself as a professional calibrator has to comment on this video. Performance mass airflow sensors are absolute snake oil. The only two things a “performance mass airflow sensor” can actually do is to alter the IAT sensor calibration which tells the engine management system the air going into the engine is cooler than it actually is, which raises the ignition timing at high intake air temps. It can also lean out the richer than optimum air fuel ratios used by OEM calibrators to control catalytic converter temperatures. These aftermarket MAF sensors are a detriment to the performance and longevity of your vehicle.
So you recommend sticking with the stock unit? (2010 Camaro L99)

I've got a 2018 Silverado 1500 with a check engine light. Code reader said the issue was my MAF. I replaced the MAF and check engine light won't go out. I've tried resetting it, disconnecting the batteries, etc etc. Still won't go off.
Any thoughts/suggestions?
