- Today I am Finally giving my Honest Owners Review on my Full Intake Upgrade on my 2020 Chevy Silverado Trail Boss. The Upgrade includes a Jet Performance Mass Air Flow Sensor, Jet Performance Throttle Body, and a Cold Air Inductions Cold Air Intake. I have had these Performance Upgrades installed on my Trail Boss for a while now and I feel that I can give you my honest experience with all of these products. MAFS is performing because of the increased airflow through the filter and throttle body. Great additions to any V8!

@@trailbosschrispayne5454 Good to know. Yea I wanted to give it a little bit of time before I did an actual "real feel" review. Just because I receive certain products to try out I am not going to just make up that its amazing. That's not right to steer people to buy products with their hard earned money.
@@zachattackcustoms I fell the same way. So far no cel install was easy. See over time if it’s worth it.
I just added the CAI cold air intake, oil catch can and the JET performance mass air flow sensor.

Just installed the mass air flow sensor and its made a big difference in throttle response. Also installed the LT pulsar it is a game changer.
Nice, I have been thinking about the Pulsar LT. Did it make a big difference?
@@zachattackcustoms yessss it did. Got rid of the 106 speed limiter, auto stop, that direct fuel management, and raised my throttle response. Acceleration is Awsome
I put the jet throttle body on and it really didn't make as much difference as the massive air flow
@@zachattackcustoms it got rid of the annoying start /stop the DFMS, speed limiter of 106 and changed the throttle response. I put the Jet throttle body and today the Jet throttle body Spacer. The Spacer made alot more difference, shifting and response is smoother now.
@georgedoughton9508 good to know! I will have to look into a throttle spacer, unfortunately Jet Performance doesn’t have one for my year, but I am sure there are others out there.

I do like that cold air intake. Most of them should be Hot 🔥 Air intakes. I looked for that MAF for a 6.2L ,but it appears they don't offer one.
I checked and it looks like they do offer the MAF Sensor. When you are searching on their website, you have to select Silverado 1500 and then the next drop down box shows 6.2L.
I went out and spent a few bucks and purchased a 2023 Dodge Charger Scst Pack. It has around 525 horsepower if the Dino tests are true which I've seen people talk about on the Internet. If it doesn't the manufacturer says it gas 485 horsepower. Do I really need all these added upgrades. It is fast the way it is. 1
You could also ask, do you need the scat pack? Do you really need that compared to the regular charger? It all depends on what you want out of life.
I added the Corsa performance cold air intake and the Corsa performance exhaust plus a jet performance MAF sensor. Now I keep getting a MAP sensor engine code. Anyone have any idea why this is happening? Thanks in advance
Did you disconnect the battery before installing everything?
@@zachattackcustoms yes sir. It was disconnected for about 20-30 minutes
I fully disconnected it. Positive and negative
@bandekko try swapping to the factory MAF sensor to see if it goes away.
If you have a scanner, you can check the air flow rate to see if there is a problem with the MAF sensor.

Last time I checked the code it threw it was a mass air pressure code. The truck is a 2023 Silverado ZR2. The MAP sensor should not be trash already

Plastic has better for heat I think
It’s aluminum but has a heat resistance coat on it.
So it's counter-intuitive, but because plastic is a better insulator, it gets heat soaked. Plastic does take longer to heat up than metal, but once it's hot it will stay that way for *hours*. Metal will heat up faster, but it also cools off fast - a few seconds at WOT will cool a metal air intake tube. So, basically, plastic is not the best choice, but a lot of companies use it because it's so affordable. I thought about that, but I honestly just feel like it might be a waste of money.
No Pulsar, no JLT catch can, aren't you afraid of lifter failures?
I personally feel that changing your own oil more often with full synthetic is a better solution.
Other reason, I really want to eventually get it tuned after I am done with performance upgrades. Probably not a good idea to switch up parts once I get it tuned.
All the other video of the same kit were proving only gain 1 percent more performance. And tested on a dyno. They are really a waste of money from most of the videos on the Tube. Also it can affect the way your car runs. Some of the tests actually proved the car ran sluggish. So if you are installing a cold air induction for looks then do it. But if you are trying gain a noticeable increase in performance then you are wasting your money on these. They just don’t really do the trick. You are not doing anything to the fuel mixture to burn more fuel to make the extra hp. Moving the airbox away from the engine in hopes to getting a more oxygenated air fuel mix simply doesn’t do what is advertised. In some cases made less hp.
They are expensive and a waste of hard earned money
I plan to eventually dyno the truck with a video showing the results, but have a couple more mods in mind.

I just felt better throttle and it seemed peppier.
