I think TLX drive a little bit on the soft side and for this generation it's down on power. I love it though but compared to it's competition it falls short in performance

@titusrome2863 This Acura was compared to it's Mercedes C300 competition by a pair of CZcams auto journalists and they said they prefer the Acura because it has way better handling and is more sportier and I agree. It may not be the fastest but going fast in a straight line is boring. I rather have a nice sounding, good looking, sporty yet reliable car like the Acura. That's why I picked it over the Germans.

Beautuful machine!! Here's some stats about two cars mechanically similar to yours...Car&Driver magazine tested a 2015 Acura TLX V6 Advance in FWD with the same 3.5L 290 HP V6 & 9-speed automatic your TLX has, and it ran impressively quick! It weighs= 3,617 LBS... It did 0-60 in 5.7, 0-100 in 13.3, 0-130 in 24.2, 5-60 in 5.8, 1/4 Mile in 14.2 @ 103 mph! Great trap speed! Top Speed= 134 mph governor limited...
Car&Driver also tested the exact same TLX V6/9A trans, but in AWD instead of FWD... It weighs= 3,763 LBS... (+146 LBS more than the FWD model)... It was surprisingly slower with less than 150 pounds of weight gain than it should have been. It still ran well doing 0-60 in 5.8, 0-100 in 14.1, 0-120 in 21.7, Top Speed is governed to 127 mph, so they couldn't test it's 0-130... 5-60 in 6.2, 1/4 Mile in 14.2 @ 100 mph. Still plenty quick, but 3 mph slower in the 1/4 Mile. Must have been a hotter day during that test? 146 pounds of added weight shouldn't slow it down any more than 1 mph in the 1/4 mile... They were tested on different days, so tested together, I'm sure it would be closer. Anyway, I figured you'd like to read this. Thanks for making the great video! I love your passenger seat camera angle too! I'll subscribe after this comment.

I have one of these cars and dearly love it. However, I have a question about the sound system; specifically the HDD. I know that there is a hard drive that you can load your CDs into, but can't figure it out. And, secondly, once they are loaded, how do I get them deleted off of the hard drive?

Hello, do you ever miss not having the SHAWD?
Car is beautiful, I'm considering a 2019 with the Advance package. It's silver colored, so the chrome blends in nicely.
As to the interior, when people say it's dated, I'd rather have this design over the Tesla type interiors today.
I'm a Honda guy, and was looking at a 2020 10th gen Civic Si, but it's just too small and can't overlook that boyracer design.

      From the owner:
“I RARELY missed the AWD & when I did it was during hard launch or a high throttle accelerating corner.
I don't think I missed it enough to pay the $5k premium at the time for the AWD version”
