These are timeless cars, my brother had a black 2005 Acura TL when it was almost new, I remember being amazed by the navigation system when I was a kid (navigation in 2005 was crazy.. at least to me lol). The designs hold up incredibly well today the older and newer ones. If I wanted to splurge on a car this would be on the top of the list..

Yea I loved that 05 generation of the TL looks good even today. TLX is nice well priced in the market for what it is and what it's offering

Just bought a 2018 sh-awd tlx… I am usually a Mercedes w211 guy, but this awd is awesome! The tlx is heavy and smooth like my e350 4matic… I did no research until I drove off the lot! And I’m impressed…

I own both a 2013 TL and a 2019 TLX with the 2.4 L A-Spec and both cars have been very reliable. I have only done regular maintenance. The TLX is very smooth and a quiet ride and I know some people don't like the Infotainment setup, but, to me it works fine. I don't need a touchscreen Navigation system. And the 2.4 L engine is all you need. It's great on gas and that is what matters to me. Comfortable, reliability and gas mileage. Low maintenance costs the V6 is a little higher in this department. Due to the Timing belt.

Be careful with the v6 AWD models, I had to replace my transmission at 112k because the transmission cooler leaked and mixed coolant with transmission fluid, the part has been superseded so preventative maintenance is recommended

My 2020 Acura TLX with 4-cylinder engine is pretty reliable. No major issues; some minor interior parts became loose, but that about it. I was thinking to get the newer TLX or another Acura vehicle, but I didn't like their touchpad and rather deal with this dated dual touch screen in my car lol.

With all the recalls pretty much have a new car besides the exterior and interior. I own the V6 and it’s low maintenance. Not very costly. Only complaint is how slow it shifts when in “sport plus” mode. It’s not as direct.

Boss, I’ve watched your other videos on the TLX in hopes of seeing a type S drivers review. What are you thoughts on the type s? Personally, I know it’s a new engine and I’m a bit weary to jump into one, but everything else seems perfect to me and what I want.
That being said I’m also looking at an IS500. I know you’re a big Lexus guy as well. Just curious about your thoughts on both.

I got a 2018 tlx aspec I bought recently. The high pressure fuel pump randomly went out had to pay to get that fixed. seems like alot of others are starting to have this same issue looking through Facebook groups.
So I think a new problem coming down the line for people will be the high pressure fuel pump causing a loud noise in the cabin

05 RSX-S 140,000 miles 15 TLX 180,000 miles without major problem. its hard to consider other brands if you experience honda acura. I've always wanted german cars and I still do, but It is too expensive to take care of them. New vehicles are expensive though, thinking to try Lexus if thats the case.
