Lots of great answers. I've seen a few correct ones on here. It was the 1978 model (called the Portacenere in the European markets). However- I don't know if you knew this but, much like the SR400, they have resurrected this feature on the XSR900. Instead of one centrally mounted ashtray, there is one on each side of the frame between the forks and the tank. So this question was only valid until 2016 unless you slightly modify it to mean "single ashtray". Thanks

I don't know where to share your specialist videos, but I think I can answer the trivia question: the last Yamaha to come with a stock ashtray was the YSL-645, last manufactured in 1998. This trombone model was hugely popular because of the ashtray and battery-powered lighter integrated into the carrying case, which made it popular among the Parisien bourgeoisie who were rebelling against the European Union's Draconian penalties for buskers in the Metro. (Alas, these days the Brussels elite have prevailed and the brass section buskers are no more.)

The man was named Marty McFly and he needed cash to help create 1,5 Jiggawatt in a steampunked fluxcapacitor.
