My dad didn't have enough for the Turbo Pursuit, he had to buy the Trivial Pursuit.
The idea of an ashtray on a motorcycle simply never crossed my mind, let alone see it. And I was a smoker for 25 years! Guess I've seen everything now. Haha. Good to hear from you again Ichi. Been a long time.

I found myself Binge watching old Ichiban Moto video over the last few nights and then I asked Myself -- Self why don't you watch the new Ichiban Moto videos ??? and the only answer I can come up with is -- I Guess Ichi just doesn't love us anymore... I would love to buy and import one of those bikes into Australia, but it costs too much to convert vehicles to Right Hand Drive here. Also it would need to have a particulate filter.

Awesome inspection you did Ichiban Moto
at 6:53 when he says: "level 7 surface rust" is he using the metric or imperial measurement level identifier number scale? ...and why is he being so picky because thats on the inside of the fuel tank where you can't even see it
also if you can see Jefferson's brow on the tire tread test, those tires should still be fine to ride in snow, mud, or gravel

I was trying to convince my old boss at a one man custom shop to hire me when I was about 18 and he wasn’t having any of it. I was giving him my best hard sell of “I’ll sweep your floors for free, I’ll stay late, weekends etc. etc.” He was literally in the middle of saying no when he looked down at the crude low rider bicycle I was riding and he asked, “Did you make that bike?” I said “yea.” He looked a little closer and asked, “Is that a Cadillac ashtray?” “Yea, it’s out of a ‘69, how’d you know that?” He just sort of laughed a little bit, sighed and said “Alright, come back on Monday. I just remembered, I might have some work for you.”

And with a bike of this vintage, I see that you used the vintage gas can so that all of the vintage octanes in the gas will help with the turbulator ignitions (something many novices would have missed!)

Ichi, I have never seen your channel before MC rider put this video out today. I watch a lot of different motorcycle in CZcams channels and videos and yours was never popped up as a recommended to me. I use SAE yum measuring sporks for consistency. I should do a video segment on sporks as a FAQ with conversions

Mr. Ichiban, Kevin is very wise to have consulted you before his friend purchased this bike. With your engineering and fabrication skills, you could quickly determine if this bike is a good deal. One quick question: Is the optional electrical hybrid drive more suited for a racing application? Thanks for your expertise.
it's part of the pursuit kit.. I guess with a larger battery you could use it in race mode over many laps

It's Ichiban's Go-pro, I was having the same issues with mine. I took it to the shop & they replaced the valve stem seals, now its great no more blurry vids.
