This is exactly what I meant in my other comment - I love the opening mail videos - but lately it's the instructional videos like this that have been missing. This is a wonderful addition to your channel and one of these carburettor tweaking devices is just what my toolbox is missing. It's five out of five from me - malo burro! I hope viewers will share their photos of their completed adjustment tools - I imagine some will really spend a lot of time customising the handle or maybe etching the tool steel blade.
I would like to set aside one shop day a week to make videos. not sure how to fund that tho

Awe nuts! Just this morning I stripped a pilot jet on my FCR MX and had to melt it out with muriatical acid. I used a genuine JIS left hand tweaker too! This could have saved me 2 hours watching the brass jet disintegrate.

I thought id seen the whole series but this video only showed up in 2022.
A slight enhancement on the tweeker is to use ethically sourced japanese eco paper which is wasabi flavoured and calibrated to give a perfect JIS sizing.
I hope the algorithm is nice to my new videos this year

All you gotta do is drill the hole on the reverse side of the handle blank and use left handed assembly putty. Badass

Is there alternative profile tweaking tools available? One of my carbs has the orthogonal slots profile screws fitted?
you can use a larger machinist pin and cut down to match you slot
Just had a thought, could you do a video on how to make spokes and respoke a wheel. I know the spokes are made from long thin bent nails so it can't be that hard.

My pocket knife scissors wouldn't cut the machinist pin. What grade diamond paper can I use to sharpen them??

can this adjust float height? last time my tool over compensated and I ended up having to advance my timing in order to stop the valves from hitting the crank
it can not. there is a float tweaker kit sold seperately
bugga i dont have carburetors, only double overhead drip feeders with hex head adjustment modules.

I see the machinist's pin comes from the package with a square tip. Can I leave it square and skip the forging step if I just re-profile all my carburetor tuning module slots into square shaped holes?

So, i live in Norway. I asked 3 different shops for the diamond paper you use(tools, biltema and mekonomen), and no one seem to have that kind of diamondpaper. They can only supply me with industri diamond cuttingtools for high rpm powertools. Maybe it called something else outside of England?

i have an 03 honda metro, that is jetted air filter and exhaust upgrade and now it wont even start how do i fix that?
as you made changes to both the intake and exhaust, there are too many variables to fix over the internet

kit 2 is shown for metric. kit one is imperial and kit three is witworth

Thanks, new tool worked ok till I cleaned my greasy finger nails with it. How madning the dirty greasy particles on my new carbomater tweaker plugged the idle jet.

hey am from the us Washington state and what u just showed how to make was just a flat head screw driver that everybody has in there tool box were are u from i always watch your videos amd all your tools are like home made or tools from the 1980s love your viedeos tho dude you so good at it sometimes i think its fake and i have a question i have a old chopper gas tank and its supper rusted i was wondering if u have an idea to get it fix or of we can make a deal and i can send u my gas tank with some $ and if u can male a video cleaning it it would mean so much

its full of rust from the inside like its bad but its kinda of a rare tank in a way like i cant find one like it and it just perfect for my bike i just wanna try geting it clean cause there no way to use it with chips of rust the outside is mint👌🏽👌🏽

I find Hubba Bubba tool putty is far better than the standard grade tool putty and it doesn't cost much more. I think they discontinued it though, just like the Chicklet brand tool putty.

I might be mistaken, but that roll of tool grade assembly tape looks an awful lot like the tire patch material you carry in the tool kit you carry on your cafe racer, near your "prescriptions" . . .
