A very well thought out product. I particularly liked the way that they only supply you with 2 hours worth of cutting, poilishing and grinding discs. That is exactly the point in time at which the machine became too hot to handle. A brilliant safety feature that other manufacturers could learn from.
You did a great job demonstrating this unit! with the wide range of ability it would be an excellent replacement for my Dremel Tool, especially tip on putty out the fire!
These are great tools for using electricity and making a noise, but your's also vibrates and gets hot too!. Four functions instead of the usual two. No wonder it got a high sticker score!
I am pleased to see that you have a sound safety culture in your workshop and keep a suitable handy fire extinguisher nearby at all times.. that could have been bad. However, please do not get it out on a petrol (gasoline) fire!
I was impressed to note it came with a comprehensive tool kit. The wrench also doubles up as a handy screwdriver and to the best of my knowledge nobody else makes one?
Its a lot like the Chicago Electric one I have. I went out and bought a Dremel tool kit and it made a world of difference on how well it does and how much cooler it runs. Its still no Dremel but not bad for the money.
Itchy, your "missing" button was never there. That hole accepts a pin to to lock the shaft while you tighten the collet. My flexy-shite-shaft came with a small tool/pin thingamabob, but if you don't have that in the collection of junky bits, just use the shaft of one of the other bits and your good to go. I don't need another rotary tool, so pass it on to another worthy. I will however, gladly accept 5 Ichiban Moto sticker for the dropped knowledge.
I'm pretty sure the hole on the flex-shaft is so you can stick a bit in there to lock it in place instead of the button. Then you can use the flex shaft and avoid the superficial burning, at least until the plastic housing melts.
Looks like the tool I`v loong been searching for tho polich my mc-boots. It seems so gentel and refine on the material, and my boots that is from 1986 deserves the best on the market, and is longing fore a cleanup
I need one of those to teach children the correct way to use electrical tools. and securing the tool to your hand with a roll of duck tape makes them run cooler, longer. Not to mention if they squirt a little starting fluid on everything it makes them balance out better. Shop trick ya know?
I liked it, I shared it, I want it! I'm trying to get a '78 GL1000 up and running but I need on of these buggers to get the job done. After I use my Ichiban ultrasonic parts washer I'm going to use this thing with the pink attachment to polish my metal parts.
That's really close to my birthday it's on June the 27th. Nice write up on the tool. I would rock the sticker on my truck and laptop at work. God bless.
I have one for plastic modeling ,the flex shaft DOESNT have a button,it has a tool to tighten the collette as per the instructions,so there's no button to lose as per your evaluation
Ichiban Moto is like an "eierlegende wollmilchsau" (german) -> a Pig which produces eggs, wool and milk all in once. Because its the best ASMR, Engineering and Entertainment Channel.
That hole is where the tool goes in to lock it in position so you can tighten the nut on the end. You obviously didn't read the damn instructions you said were so great...lol!
level 7-10 probably only available on the Pro model, I bet it comes with a 2.5 hr supply of cutting, polishing, and grinding attachments, and a button for the cable wand as well
It's made in China, so the power level is probably metric. Maybe multiply it by 9/5ths or something like that? That would make it 10.8 or almost 11. Plus, if you had a Harbor Freight thermal infrared laser temp gun, you could use it to see how hot the rotary tool gets.
I'm not interested in this item thank you for offering it though I am not interested in it. Even though I'm not interested in it I want you to know that I appreciate the offer for it even though I'm not interested. Thanks no thanks but thanks.
Those things that fall apart for your ears? Like clean out the wax from your ears 😂😂 yeah you would think it would go to 33 at least not 6. Its the Hottest tool on the Market by the sound of things haha. Damn I missed out on a chance to win this oh so awesome tool. Great review!
well, it would be great to get one of these because I have an old, low power-version clone which is not even useful for polishing (something that, by the way, I learned how to do by watching this video)
I bought some Ichiban stickers a few months ago because I am worthless and have nothing to contribute that could have earned them. One on my car and one on my m/c, they,ve really faded badly very quickly. Having seen the standard of the tools you use I was surprised at the low quality. Perhaps you could make a video on restoring the colour of faded stickers in the near future.
There isn’t supposed to be a button on the flex shaft. There should be a little stick thing that you stick into the hole in the flex shaft so you can loosen or tighten the collet on the flex shaft.
Hey Ichiban Moto love the videos, it's getting into winter here now and I need something to light my fires. there should have been a peice of rod to stick in the hole where you thought the button should be, it lines up with another hole and locks the shaft so you can tighten the collar. Keep up the Bad Ass videos and send me that tool, I'm FREEZING.Dave.
The hole in the flex shaft is meant to have a tool shaft stuck in it to keep it from turning while tightening. Remember the key element here..... the SHAFT goes in the HOLE if you are wanting to really use your wand.😀👍
Well I guess I am in the contest but not sure about this. After all that happened I don't blame you for peeing on it. Crazy! Thank you for being truthful Ichiban!
You need to watch the other "how to" video so you know how to attach the pieces correctly, you'd find it works really well for small projects, a great deal for $40!. (BTW, For the flex (etching tool - hold it like a pencil) use the L pin in the hole to hold it open).

Can't believe it stops a power level six,I prefer mine to go to eleven!
It goes eleven, its one louder.... Great movie we are talking about :D
i need to check on demand and watch that again. it's been awhile
Made by Marshall?
You did a great job demonstrating this unit! with the wide range of ability it would be an excellent replacement for my Dremel Tool, especially tip on putty out the fire!
I have a similar one and all I've ever used is the little wire wheel. Worked great for the tight space where nothing else would work.
I've been binge watching your videos for a while now. great stuff man. love the fire at the end.
You should review your fire extinguisher. It worked well. Some of your viewers may want one of their own.
Your ancient hand-crank drill gets better results in seconds :) More product reviews from Ichiban Moto please !
Sure why not. Keeps me warm in them cold days

I loved this one. I want more product reviews. specifically nickel town customs stuff
I was impressed to note it came with a comprehensive tool kit. The wrench also doubles up as a handy screwdriver and to the best of my knowledge nobody else makes one?
I could use this to help finish up my kz1000 project! Love the vids man!
Its a lot like the Chicago Electric one I have. I went out and bought a Dremel tool kit and it made a world of difference on how well it does and how much cooler it runs. Its still no Dremel but not bad for the money.
dude you are the best, your videos remind me of the Red Green show, man I loved that show
Dustin ! Come on man Ichi'y wrote and directed all those Yellow Brown shows... LOL
Excellent review! You're not just some blogger looking for likes...that review was the real deal...like Paul Harvey's Ikea reviews used to be.

2 hours worth of accessories (double what I would have got). LOL * Fire not included. Thanks Ichiban for another AWESOME tool review.
Torque vectoring, I never thought of that option on a power tool. This is another reason you are so badass.
Hello and congratulations ! the random generator selected you. Send me a youtube message with your information so I may get this in the mail to you !
Your videos are on a level of their own.
Nice review. I really like the cable attachment.
Your videos are cool!Keep up the good work!
Dude, your videos are the best, they always make me laugh.
I'm pretty sure the hole on the flex-shaft is so you can stick a bit in there to lock it in place instead of the button. Then you can use the flex shaft and avoid the superficial burning, at least until the plastic housing melts.
You showed me how to make my own ultrasonic parts cleaner! Thanx, man!
Hi Ichi I would probably do a good job polishing and grinding just using those badass stickers. Excellent review.
really good unbiased review!!! I hope mine can explode similarly.
more tool reviews, they are my favorite.
Love your Product Review Videos the Most !!!!!
Haha awesome review and editing. Love your work.
good review but always when using heavy duty grinding tools you should wear respirator, full face shield and gloves
Looks like the tool I`v loong been searching for tho polich my mc-boots. It seems so gentel and refine on the material, and my boots that is from 1986 deserves the best on the market, and is longing fore a cleanup
Mr Ichiban, you are the coolest! I like that pistol grip.
Your videos are often an inspiration fo rme while restoring my 1977 Honda Cb750 K7c
Also I am a much more broke college student then @BertMorlas and I need to port the head of my 1977 Honda CB750 K7 more. Please help me more.

Can this tool polish a Polish or it demands an additional tool?
looks like a nice tool to have and gets the job done
ichiban moto! im always amazed with every uploads you make
Will Dremel attachments work with it?
I've got some inake runners that would love that rotary tool!
I can say I'm using this and can make a video how to fully use this great tool that I craft heavily.
I have one for plastic modeling ,the flex shaft DOESNT have a button,it has a tool to tighten the collette as per the instructions,so there's no button to lose as per your evaluation
looks a good bit of kit, I'll have to order one

Mr. Moto!!!! Any more super educational videos in our future?
Awesome!!!
I'd love to see how it works when it's done cooling down...hopefully I'll win!
that fire at the end is badass I want it!!!
Great video! like all the others...
I give it, 2 out of 5 ichiban moto stickers.
At first i was like, A real tool? no primitive magical tools? And then i saw the end :))) GReat video, keep up the good work!
I want it!!!!!!!!
just been sub on ur channel hope ill get any of those tools. much appreciated any old tools that will be given.

Ichiban Moto! Your fans are missing you!
I have hands of steel so the heat won't bother me at all! good quality for sure!
Always best to keep a full bladder when using power tools
Great vid, keep it up
Winter's coming, I'll need a fire starter.
the end was a good touch to it
that would come in really handy. would love to have that.
that ending had me dying "HOT!HOT!HOT!HOT!"
Now I understand why you fabricate your own café racer tools. Much more effective, realiable aks yelds much better results!
thats totally badass!
I'm not interested in this item thank you for offering it though I am not interested in it. Even though I'm not interested in it I want you to know that I appreciate the offer for it even though I'm not interested. Thanks no thanks but thanks.
Awesome
excellent video, as usual.
This is awesome, I could use that, my Dremel is getting old.

4:42 can´t understand why I laughed so much at that
well, it would be great to get one of these because I have an old, low power-version clone which is not even useful for polishing (something that, by the way, I learned how to do by watching this video)
There is a hole in the wand and you can stick one of the bits in and lock the center axel.
Liked, subbed and shared :) questionable quality or not it could still come in handy.
Nice work, as usual....liked & shared....wish me luck!
I would love to win the "USED" one. Think it may be more usefull than the "New" one
I would rather like some Ichiban moto stickers instead of the tool!
You have good taste.
I need a rotary tool so this would be really convenient :)
this channel is GENIOUS?
love to have that for the cafe racer build that i am going to start
badass tool!
rules and info are in the video description
Ichiban Moto
I don't want that.
Good luck to the winners.👊🏽
Yea i wanna live too ,good luck to a "lucky"winner!
Doesn't help me now. I just subscribed to your channel yesterday and already I'm a loser!

I'm quite flammable, but crave excitement, so if I had an alley, this combustible tool would be right up it. This has been my comment below.

it's good.thanks
Hi Ichiban, sounds like a real POS, it would fit in well with my tools!!
I SO need one of those!
Please send me this sweet tool. I have a small customization shop myself, and I believe this would look badass with some paint and bobbed handgrips.
The hole in the flex shaft is meant to have a tool shaft stuck in it to keep it from turning while tightening. Remember the key element here..... the SHAFT goes in the HOLE if you are wanting to really use your wand.😀👍
It comes in a cool box though :)
That's badass
Well I guess I am in the contest but not sure about this. After all that happened I don't blame you for peeing on it. Crazy! Thank you for being truthful Ichiban!

Why intentionally make the product look bad? Or is this a "funny" video?
totally BAD
ASS tool!
Based on the review, the only thing id actually be happy to recieve are the stickers and a writ of wisedom from Ichiban Moto's
