Really bad
they scare me ngl@@kriky54
It's scary💀
Zoe!!! No, that was torture!! Karen Pick Me moms are the worst! Still love you, Zoe.
@lamari_posa the first line of the video was a warning of the scary material in this video. ⚠️
I thought as Gen Z we had collectively agreed not to give our children trauma
do u know that not all gen z people have yet/want to have kids? i think these bad parents shown in the video are probably late millennials
If the age range is from 1995 to 2010 than the oldest gen z are 29 and probably do have children @@WildStrawberries
@@WildStrawberriespeople tend to forget that every gen has fucked up people and traumatized people, it’s hard to raise kids when you’re dealing with unheard trauma, it’s hard to become a better parent if you never had the role model of a good parent in general.
@@mentalissues9514 i think it's from '97 to '12 but i see where you're coming from
it’s from 95 to 09
Normal parents don’t post on tik tok or even have tik tok
Exactly!
Cool I’m a normal parent 🤣
Its not abt having a tiktok acc but its abt what theyre posting abt their kids
Facts!
nah, what social media they have is no one problem
the problem comes when they post their kids, there are many parents with tik tok that you wouldn’t even know they are parents cause they don’t post their kids
"He doesn't need a wife when he has me."
Wait til a father says that about his daughter
Exactly! Because girl dads can be as obsessive, as the toxic boy moms can be....😂🤷♀️
Honestly, for me the only way to go at this point is prohibiting showing children under 14 in the social media. If they are not old enough to have their own accounts, they shouldn’t be online.
I agree, but the age should be raised to 16
@@deddeeee409 agreed. I just turned 16 and i’ve never had any social media other than youtube and pinterest and my parents say i’m aloud to get everything now but i’m going to pass 💀 nobody will ever catch me alive using tiktok.
*allowed
yah i wish i wasn't an ipad kid cause when we were younger we had unlimited access to social media and i ended up getting an ED at 15... And even now that i'm 17 i feel bad cause i missed so much of my childhood busy online and stuff.
I can’t believe it’s not against the law to use your children for entertainment WITHOUT CONSENT. Absolutely crazy.
I guess it's muddied by wholesome family time candid moments (which I guess could be resolved by using extended family private groupchats) and generally looking for and sharing parenting tips like "what is this rash in this image?" (though I guess that's not really entertainment, but could be if non life threatening situation is presented in some humorous way). Sharing any person as main focus without their consent is shady in my opinion and kids are vulnerable to extreme creepery so I'm not against treating them in Amish ways.
It wouldn't matter Parents would still manipulate, gaslight, guiltrip, emotionally abuse these kids into it
@@darlingdander9482 That's especially true for girls. Because boys receive more respect than them, for going through similar stuff.
After you get married and have kids, why are you still a 'pick me'? You got picked. Checkmate, you win. 😂😂 You can drop it.
Exactly, it's crazy that these women refuse to realise the mess they create and literally act like they don't care about it...😂
No wonder girls are filled with insecurities these days. I hope these women seek therapy, so that they can be better for themselves and their relationships with men.
They alienated all their girlfriends and sanity though and only socialization and attention they get is slimy misogynistic men so gotta keep up the pandering act, it's a vicious cycle because they surrounded themselves with worst of the worst who either leave or set horrible example. And worst thing is they know it because they think toddler girl is a competition. Like, gurl, how are you ok with nonces around you if you think your CHILD is stealing them away??? Pickmes are an enigma because what they do is counterintuitive to humanity's wellbeing and evolution.
FR....😂
Fr lol😂😂😂
Because 'pick me ' is a misnomer. They aren't trying to get picked. They are looking for clout.
Some people really shouldn’t be having kids 😭
Yeah, especially women.

I must quote Honey Bat: "Having a functioning uterus means that you can have kids, but it doesn't mean that you should."
I teach PE and deal with of teen/tween boys. Whenever they're misogynistic , gross or bad to a girl, I make them go the office, call mom/grandma and tell HER and the female principal, what they/said or did to get them there.
Usually the embarrassment is punishment enough
Edit: I also do this when they're misogynistic or bad to eachother too. We not raising a pack of wolves lol 🤭
Usually, the mother will make them publicly apologize to whomever at lunch. I think small-scale public shame can be really good for Bratty teens 😂🙈😈 especially since it doesn't hamper them academically and they end up learning they lesson lol :P
Ayooo ❤🎉👏🏻
W pe teacher
did the kids just smack the moms butt 💀💀OMG💀💀
I wonder if it was their father who encouraged them, to behave that way...
If he did, he probably is the reason the mom is accepting the behaviour💀
I like how accurate you profilpic is, based on what we all saw rn
My mom posted pictures of my sister and I as kids on the internet back in 2005-ish SAFELY. How? She made a private website JUST for family members, locked behind a password which was only shared with our close family that was living quite far away. She kept it up for about 2 years and people like my aunt could take a look and see how we were doing. It's really sweet to look back at.
THAT is how you create forever lasting memories online. NOT on public platforms.
i'm a daughter of a pick me, and so is my boyfriend, I do not recommend it, traumatic experience tbh, for everyone involved
Girl stay strong ❤
Oh sweet girl, I am so fcking sorry 😞

@@bgreenshoes1 aww thank you so much,
Im a psychology major and i attended a zoom meeting about child abuse and there were lawyers who work with children. I asked about child labor on internet and one of them mentioned the first ever case to open about this which to a famous person ìn Turkiye. They said the case was still ongoing. It's just so sickening how normalised it is
You could have easily worked with adults as well...😂🤷♀️
@missstranger7697 i didn't understand what you said well
@@dry_strawberries That you have potential to work with older people, not just children.
I have two little children. In our Generation we experienced parents that where into drug abuse and mostly alcoholics or sexual and other physical and emotional abuse. The Generation of my children will talk to their therapists about their only fan moms, the neclect of the phone addicted parents and their Tik Tok parents.
@@dry_strawberries Your sentence 'I attended a zoom meeting about child abuse and there were lawyers who work with children' is what they're joking about. Since you said these lawyers 'work with children'. It's taken in the wrong context to make a joke by @missstranger7697.
Hence forth them saying 'You could have easily worked with adults as well' and the follow up reply to your request for clarification.
Social media influencing really worsened every issue that ever existed, because now you're rewarded for being extreme
Bingo!! Social media is the reason the internet space became toxic and insufferable to deal with...😅
And because the algorithm keeps showing stuff similar to what you’ve already been watching, so it forms a false consensus - that people think it is more common than it really is.
Honestly so glad my parents don’t do social media rn too 😂
Me too
"Boys will be boys" is supposed to be for eyeroll worthy, but ultimately harmless behavior.
FR
Mmmmm I disagree, it’s used as an ‘excuse’ for sexual harassment/abuse, teaches (mainly) women that they have to put up with it because boys will be boys and they can’t change it. It is, however, still sometimes harmless, but in this scenario is not
harmless behaviour at the cost of, mostly women, around them. its an excuse to not correct them bcoz "thats how they are"
It should've been "kids will be kids" or something like that then, because as of now it devolved into "weiner = no accountability". As if filthy destructivity is a must for them and you shouldn't expect better, you fool. For some reason men are okay with keeping this low standard for themselves and then get surprised at "decenter men" movements and "loneliness epidemics".
As a mother of a son and a daughter this makes me soooo god damn angry. My son is 4 and I have to teach him still quite often that he is suposed to respect other peoples boundaries, I don't even mention the gender. He is not supposed to hit someone in general. I recently explained to him that he is not allowed to take pictures of other people without asking first (he has no phone and no Ipad, instead we bought him a real camera for children, in case he wants to become a photagropher in the future and the interest stays). I also teached him that only his father is allowed to touch me so close for example my boobs or my butt because we love eachother romantically and are in a relationship, I also told him that he has to ask other children first if he wants to give them a hug or a kiss. It is soooo important to teach them at a early age already. Also the world doesn't revolve around him
Honestly my family is like this
I have a cousin who’s male, the same age as me, and gets glorified. And it especially doesn’t help when all my family does it make excuses for his bad behavior because of his disability. This is so frustrating and I’ve been putting up with it for years, and what makes me so annoyed is he gets treated like a baby, has things picked up after him, and it’s all by my aunts. While I have the be the “independent big girl” and do all of that but for myself, not that it’s a problem, but what is a problem is he rarely does any of this and when he does he gets praised for it..Praised for doing the BARE.MINIMUM.
If you dont mind sharing, what disability does he have?
@@-iismax- Autism and some hints of adhd
@@kroxxroad814 is he like (for lack of a better word) super autistic or is he high functioning?
@@kroxxroad814 is he high functioning or like non verbal autistic
I also have auDHD and I'm a girl, he won't survive.
I am a mother of a little boy, and I live in terror that people think I mean “boy mom” lol. Don’t get me wrong. Sometimes I cry thinking about a girl breaking his heart, but I also cry thinking about my future daughter, who will have her heartbroken by a boy. I just cry about my kids OK lol

This is disturbing, CPS needs to check on this people, a psychological assessment is mandatory, i'm a mother clearly this people have several behavioral issues
My mother is a tiktoker with 381K followers on her main and 200K on her other acc and I sometimes appear in her videos but lately I've had lots of problems. I have an ED bc of the way my body looks and how some people comment inappropriately about it and I sometimes wake up with a camera on my face for a new fcking video. I'm 13 but everyone at school knows what I do at home, every meal I pretend to eat, how I get ready for school and where I'm going to spend the weekend. I never have privacy and I talk to my mother about it but she thinks I'm "Ungrateful" or whatever. ☹️
your mother is horrible you should definitely talk to someone about her, no one should be forced to work
please seek help. It sounds like your mum is downplaying and ignoring your consent.
Wow. This was depressing. I’m a former children’s librarian and some of the parenting I saw was startling but I thought it was just the nature of being in a military community… The boy mom stuff in particular made me sad. I want the men of the future to be better than they are now. This wasn’t encouraging.
These toxic boy moms, were probably raised in toxic environments themselves and of course they have been as well in abusive relationships with their husbands. No wonder they behave that way.
But they forget that they raise their boys, to be narcissistic men as their spouces used to be.
I'm feel really sorry for Gen Alpha in the US 🥲. In Germany it seems people care more about respecting boundaries. I also read a lot of comments from US parents that still believe hitting children is ok. In Germany it's forbidden by law since 2002, even mental abuse or regular harassing is forbidden here.
Yes, the reason why these men of generation were a mess, was because they either had a horrible mother or they had NO mother whatsoever in their lives.
I've always found weird the adoration that some moms can have for their boys, it's like they're mixing the whole "man of my life" thing and they eventually look for these men to take care of them above all other women, that's toxic!
I had a female friend who acted like a pick me boy, and she was letting the entire year literally walk on her. She wasn't in any high sets, but compared herself to the top 5% of students saying they were so lucky and she was just soo bad and tried to get them (me included) to sympathize with her. The friendship unsurprisingly fell apart when she ghosted me, saying that I was the one ignoring her and that I was a terrible friend. A toxic pushover pick me was describing her best.
Have those people considering going to a psychologist or even psychiatrist? They should.
Zoe always on point

Its funny how internet changes who we are so radically, me for example s Gen z i want to have children and we will live in the forest teaching them respect and love for nature, feeding them real food, teaching them real education and socialization will always be available if they want to be social... I grew up with a pick me mom, she until this day downgrades me and she has literally said "im not like other women" 😂 and shes a gen x... It makes me really sad tho for this kids cuz they'll hate social media and internet
What do you mean by real education though? Just asking because I'm curious..

@sashasscorner im gen-z, and I'm in the same boat as you. Watching degeneracy unfold online did radicalize me. I want to have children, and when I do, I know how NOT to raise them. Also, I'm super committed to not raising an iPad kid.

God this touches such an important topic
i can't believe i'm saying this but even though i went through years of abuese and still suffering from truauma, my parents raised me kinda right because now i know how to not be a bad parent, this is awful
I believe mentally healthy people don't have a TikTok.
And mentally healthy people don't have incestuous relationships with their children...😂
Boy moms and girl dads being examples.
Even if they have tiktok, they don't stand out that much 😂
You don't have to be a parent to know that what they're doing is wrong. All you need is common sense, which seems to not be too common.

Hey you! If you read this you might have seen one of these kind of videos. TikToks (or Shorts) where teenagers (sometimes also kids) talk about sh, ed ect... Now ik that you shouldnt be ashamed of things like that and it really is important to talk about it. BUT as you may know, many ppl are suicidal nowadays or they sh. I think throughout social media it even got more...popular. yk? Many young ppl see these kind of videos where the ppl talk about sh. It all gets kinda...glorified. Yk what I mean?? I cant explain it that good tbh. But many young ppl who see that kind of stuff over and over again think after that that they're suicidal too. Even tho they're actually perfectly fine. But if you watch these kind of videos every day over and over again you get kinda like...brainwashed? And slowly... its not just harmles thoughts anymore. You suddenly start beeing suicidal. Social media is harmful. Social media is dangerous. It truly poisons our lifes. Im not a youtuber and I'm not good at talking. But i still want to raise awareness. To all the young ppl out there. So I want to ask you for help. Yes, you. The person who is reading this rn. If you are a content creator I beg you, pls make a video about this. If ur not, copy this comment as often as you can. Translate it into different languages. Copy it to other social media platforms. Please. Raise awareness and help the ppl who need it.
