More about me as a Cosmetic Dermatologist:
Hi my name is Dr. Stefani Kappel and I’m a board certified Dermatologist! I’ve been practicing dermatology for 15 years and have been obsessed with skin my entire life.
Authenticity and honesty is my priority. Unlike many dermatologists on CZcams I do not accept any paid partnerships. I never have and I never will. Everything I post from skincare to in office procedures are ones that I truly believe in.
After obtaining my medical degree I completed a residency in a dermatology at UCLA. I took my first job as full time faculty at UCLA as professor of Dermatology.
It was then my love for teaching expanded and I began to educate thru social media. I post educational videos for my patients and for “skin nerds” like me who want to take their understanding of skin care to the next level.
Thank you for joining my CZcams Derm family 💙
I am also the creator and formulator of MDAiRE Skincare

Will you please do a video on all of the facial procedures you’ve had done? Botox, filler, microneedling, Sculptra, etc.?
Wish we had you here in Texas!
I actually thought that was what this video was going to be.
Would also love to see a video related to that too! You look amazing at 45! 🙌🏼🙌🏼
No I think it’s more, she had a puffier face with more indented nasal labial folds, a little more of a square-ish face and her upper lids were heavy, her face looks v shaped, maybe from the massater botox BUT it’s not only lasers! She looks completely different….in a very good way! Dr. Kappel tell us, we want to look youthful like you!!!!
@@lizzy2991Agreed, def not only lasers. I really would love to know as I, too, think she looks fabulous.
The best money I ever spent was on my upper and lower bleph in 2014, when I was 54. It was done by Gregory Keller MD in Santa Barbara. Concurrent with the surgery I had fraxel laser on my face. Ten years later my eyes still look beautiful and rested.
She’s such a sweetheart. She radiates so much beauty inside and outside. Love your content ❤
Thank you!!!
You are without peer! In your profession. NO SPONSORS! You are authentic
Thank you Gloria ❤️
You're a real inspiration. & your being forthright & honest becomes you. I also did 5 a.m. runs & workouts before work as a dispatcher that never left her desk, but the workouts helped me deal with stress. Plus, I'm much better for it as I age now. I lived in Dana Point & San Juan Capistrano but retired in Sierra Vista Arizona, yet I do truly miss the ocean & California; So enjoy it while you're there. (Things always change, & that's a given)! You're an absolute LOVE & I truly enjoy listening to you!!! And please share with us your recommendation for skin supplements. Thank you soooo much!
I do intermittent fasting, and I love has made a big difference, thank you for being so open and honest
Sometimes a good doctor is not a great presenter of information: this doctor is WONDERFUL at it. She seems so clear, knowledgeable, honest and open. I'm subscribing for more!
You really grind! 5am workouts and no coffee!! I’ll never be that dedicated! You’re awesome!
Thank you Jeannie!
Yay! Excited for this one. And Happy Mother’s Day!!
Ive been wanting to ask you to do a video sharing how much we can expect to spend if we do what you do , like what’s a good “yearly budget” to set aside for the Botox, thermage, Lasers, ect… that you do as often as you do them a year and of coarse that includes the skin care products ❤.
Thats a great idea! I'll try to post that video next! Its been a lifetime of me doing lasers etc but I'll share good tips for an annual budget and what is a better use of your hard earned money and time.
Hi love this content about personal regimen since your radiance is proof that whatever you’re doing works! Would love a video on details and routine of which skin and enhancement procedures (Botox, filler, different lasers, etc) you do maintain your beauty and glow. ❤
Very similar to what I asked her to do too BUT it would be on what the budget looks like for us to set aside to do all these things yearly too
I know she did a video where she says all or most of what she uses herself as far as procedures . I think it was her vid on jowls that she briefly shares that information
I'll try to post a video on that as well. Although I think that preventive treatments that I did in my twenties also helped and are manifesting their benefits now in my forties. It's not that I do a ton of procedures but rather have done them over a lifetime. Now that I'm older I rely more on tightening devices and lasers whereas when I was younger I did more fillers that I shy away from now.
I have so much respect for the sacrifice and discipline you put forth in order to pursue your dreams! Thank you for always educating us with such a sincereity! 🙌🏼
Thank you for recognizing that. Its my pleasure xx
Thanks for sharing!!! Loved this video Stefani , it’s so hard to trust people on social media I’m so glad we have you!!! I totally trust you and what you say❤️
Aw thank you so much Kristy, that means so much to me!!
OMG first, you are SO beautiful !!!
Thank you for being one of a kind Doctor.
Today I had my first fraxel dual treatment and I have 3 more to come … your videos are so amazingly informative and you totally motivated me getting it.
I wish I was closer to get it done by you … I love your nerdy engineer mind … your passion is palpable through your videos !!! ❤
I can’t wait to try your line! I’m finishing with my current products and then I’m onto yours! Thank you for your wisdom!
Yay!! Can't wait for you to try too!!
Thank you for sharing and being so informative and transparent with us. You are gorgeous and I am sure there are many haters, but your inside beauty shines through as brightly as your outside beauty.💜
Thank you so much Candi!
Happy Mother's Day!!!😊would actually love some nerdy melanoma content. What to look for how often to get checked by derm; what not to do as far as procedures etc. Lost my own mother to skin cancer 26 years ago and Mother's Day is still hard.
I am absolutely in love with you’re skincare line! It is so amazing! My skin looks completely different after using it now!!
Which are your favorites??
Right?!??? You can definitely tell the difference when it’s a dermatologist and a hand selected personal chemist making the products together right? So glad u tried MDAiRE 🙏🏼✨
@@DrStefaniKappel I’m excited to try them!! I was wondering if you could only pick 3, which would you choose? Although I want them all!!
I am ready to get your skincare. You have won me over! Can I get a consultation about what to start with?
Can you please do a supplement video. I too have a sensitive stomach. Pls!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
These are great tips and you are the proof it has worked well! Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing!
Thank you!!
She’s so pretty and looks like a doll. No way she’s 45!!!
Thank you!!
You're a remarkable person and admire your work ethic and dedication to health and wellness and family! Lots of Love and Happy Mother's Day!
Thank you so much!!!! Happy Mothers Day!!
@@DrStefaniKappel Thank you!!
I thought when I became an attending physician I would have more time than I actually do. Most workdays I have very little time to eat and I struggle with fatigue at the end of the day. I really enjoyed and laughed at how your intermittent fasting started in residency. I never thought of it that way before lol. That's a much more positive mindset way of looking at it. Thank you very much for that. I'm going to change how I think about my lack of time to eat and treat it more as an intentional intermittent fasting.
Regarding water intake, please be careful. I’m also a small woman and was a stickler for drinking two liters of water a day until I ended up with cerebral edema.
A close friend of mine did cool sculpting and she said it didn’t work for her at all. I’ve never done any procedures myself because I’m skeptical and because they are expensive, so I just stick with mostly healthy lifestyle. As I’m aging, I realize how little superficial beauty means in this world…in my humble opinion.
Same for my friend… did not work at all!
she didnt look youthful at all, her face doesn't look natural at all.
DONT do cool sculpting. I did it and ended up with PAH, the condition that makes your fat grow rather than shrink. I now have to get lipo to fix it but lipo just seems so scary. Which is why I did cool sculpting to begin with. So now my belly that wasn’t even big now looks like I’m pregnant and is a super thick fat. Ugh. I wish they would do away with cool sculpting. It’s more more common than they tell you.
@@nyc1087after Linda Evangalista got that same side affect PAH I'm surprised anyone risks it! Too risky imo and lipo may not even help it!
Lift heavy. You will be fine.
I love your eye makeup 😍
DANG!!!!
She said that in one breath.
Right.. I keep breathing .. caused me anxiety .. just slow down. Please.. adorable soul!
First of all Happy Mother's day and thank you for always putting out such great content!! You even respond to most comments, I'm sure it hard to catch every one.....that's truly appreciated!! I've tried your products and they're amazing. Thank you for taking the time to develop such quality products and the containers are so pretty to put on the vanity too!! I had BBL & Halo recently and I don't think I've heard you mention Halo specifically and wanted to know your thoughts.
Would like to know also. I’ve done BBL several times. I never had pigmentation but was told it’s still good for skin rejuvenation and collagen building. I don’t know what to think as there aren’t any changes after I do it (other than softer skin for a couple days). Halo is also being recommended as it’s “better”. Would love to have more insight from others and the Dr.
Happy Mother’s Day to a wonderful mom! I love how passionate you are about everything you do and balancing your many priorities - family, your practice, health, friendships, self-care, developing your product line, continuing education and sharing your knowledge - incredibly well.
I would love an updated video on your supplement regimen and when you take each of the supplements. (Cymbiotika makes such great ones!)
Also, your lips look different - and amazing! Did you do anything recently to enhance them?
Enjoy Mother’s Day with your beautiful family! 💗😮
Awww thank you SO much! I appreciate that. No chance in my lips but I am wearing a new lip liner and lip color. I usually just wear gloss.
@@DrStefaniKappel it looks fabulous on your lips! You’re always radiant (inside and out), and the lip liner and lip color just enhance that beauty. 💗
This explains why you look the way you do ! Thank you for sharing your routines You inspire me
If only I had started earlier than just 5 years Ago Oh well I am going to get there !!
Me too. Wish I would of started in my youth.. I tried.. addiction kicked my
Mind .. now .. when I must I can!
Thank you for all your openness and sharing Dr. Stefani! You are truly an original within the medical field of humans! I want to come to your office for a kybella or thermage procedure. I will have to get organized to make that happen! We have a boat in SDiego and will have to make a very long weekend of this sometime in the near future. Thank you for all your advice, honesty and love and passion for this field that is so important to all women ❤
I was excited to watch this video because you look decades younger than 45, but I don’t feel like it was a thorough video… I would actually enjoy a full break down of your day/week/month, a list of all supplements, and a list of all procedures and how frequently you do them. That would feel thorough to me.
Yes I agree!!!! That video would have been 4 hours long lol. I may continue this as a series and do a video just focused on diet, then supplements, then facial procedures and lasers I do etc,
Really thought you're in your early 30's... I'm nearly 40, i'm a Professional Singer/Performer and i have to look good or presentable all the time on stage. Thank you for all the information ur sharing with us. Always looking forward to your videos ❤️
Aw thank you so much Rosa!
First, 45?! I really thought you were in your late 30’s. Wow!
Second, thank you for sharing science-backed dermatological content! I trust you - thanks for that.
Third, thanks for sharing parts of yourself and your family with us. You are all just the sweetest - seeing you balancing it all and representing the real “badass mom” struggles is inspiring to me. ❤
Awww thank you so much babe!!!
No she looks in her 20’s seriously
Lol, late 30’s to 45 isn’t that big of a gap. Lol. I’m 43 and people say I look 25. They literally think I’m my daughters twin sister. I’ve done no work on my face besides carry extra weight on it. Lol.
You capping, she definitely looks younger than her late thirties. Saying someone looks like they’re in their late 30s, that is not a big difference from someone who’s 45, you’re basically saying she looks 45. It’s all fine, you could’ve just said she looked her age.
She looks 28
There you have it! The secret to looking amazing and defying convention: working your ass off Every. Single. Day. Thanks again for your inspiring content, Dr. love you! 😘🌟
Dr. Kappel, I deeply appreciate your commitment to non-sponsored content. It is so refreshing to be able to not question the morives behind a video. Your regiment is honest and true. One must be disciplined in diet and exercise to be the most healthy throughout. This lifestyle will show in a persons skin health. Keep the great videos coming. You are an inspiration. Thank you.
Thank you so much!! Im so glad you value the non-sponsored content, it's really important to me to stay unbiased!
Love this video!! You look amazing! I have a very similar food and workout routine as you! I would love to see your supplement video because I feel like I’m taking too many. Can’t wait to see it!
Same I have way too many vitamins it’s costly too I just want to streamline and not be taking things I don’t need.
Yeah I just watched one where she shares her supplement regimen, skin care routine pre & post workout, her morning smoothie/breakfast, & I noticed she mentioned several times that she does intermittent fasting & tries not to eat after 5pm. Intermittent fasting & cold showers (or ice therapy, check Wim Hof for that info) is proven to rejuvenate ur cells & slow aging. It makes ur cells turn over instead of degrade the way they constantly do.
Low-fat greek yogurt is a dairy-based food that has been noted in studies to have and anti-inflammatory effect. It is crazy how dairy is demonized by so many, when it is the saturated fat in dairy, and other foods, which has been found in studies to be the pro-inflammatory element.
It’s great unless you’re allergic or cannot process cow milk.
It’s not the saturated fats. It’s because dairy is harmful… *to a large number of people.*
It’s not that dairy itself is bad. Dairy is just dairy. The ability of the human body to break down and process dairy is relatively new, resulting from a gene mutation that causes the continued production of lactase into adulthood.
Over half of the world’s population is deficient in lactase or can’t process it at all (on mobile so I can’t link, but numerous studies and data have been published on this).
So yes, dairy is damaging to many. It will never be beneficial unless they’re able to literally alter their DNA.
But if your body has the genetic variant then it will be beneficial. Because you produce the chemical that makes it digestible and can absorb its benefits.
It’s like an allergy.
You are so generous with your knowledge and are truly a kind soul for sharing your experiences with us, thank you and Happy Mother’s Day!
Thank you and you too!!
I'm in laguna beach too and have been searching for someone trustworthy. So glad you popped up on my feed! I'll be scheduling a.consultation soon.
Genetics play an important role as well. I’m 48 and people’s jaws drop when I tell them my age. I’ve taken care of my skin but have had no Botox, treatments, etc. just good skin care. I drink a lot of water, I’ve been a tea drinker my entire life (I have never drank soda, even as a kid bc it made me sick and tastes like perfume to me) and I’m also a nurse. So I too inadvertently intermittent fast, lol. I usually eat between 10 am and 6pm, if that late.
The basics make a big difference. A healthy diet, no processed food, non GMO’s, organic unless you peel it and really, really washing your produce. Also buying good meat. Being in colorado we have access to a lot of free range, organic grass fed beef, etc. Also vitamins! A multivitamin, vitamin d, b6, zinc, calcium…etc and so on.
Use what you have available to you. Hydration, good healthy foods, skin care, no tanning beds or being in the sun without protection, vitamins and minerals, antioxidants, etc. ❤
Then why don’t you show your picture?
With your scientific nature, I'd love to know your thoughts on Perimenopause/Menopause and HRT. Id so love your input. You are so smart and base everything on science. Thank you!
Wonderful video thank you. I am a big gym person but became insulin resistant I believe due to eating too many oats, fruit and other carbs, snacking too much. Thank you for sharing your intermittent fasting regimen and the info your trainer told you about eating carbs before 2pm and no dinner past 4pm. That will definitely work for me. Thank you 🙏
IF can totally heal your insulin resistance!
Thank you for the video!! I definitely need to incorporate this in my day to day life.!
I still looked 30 at age 45 without doing anything, other than moisturizing regularly. But as soon as my hormones changed in my early 50s, the skin and hair went downhill fast.
What hormones? Because I am 30 and I am noticing it now XD
@@aileenhowlett6760 - Maybe you can get your estrogen and progesterone levels checked? I have heard some women go into perimenopause in their early 30s although that is not common. It makes a huge difference in skin quality because estrogen plays a role in collagen production.
It happened to me also, I really unraveled at 61
I could not stop staring at your back window! What a gorgeous view. You worked hard and earned it ❤
Thanks for opening up about some of your lifestyle habits! You’re an amazing role model. Ps gorgeous home 🏝️
Thank you so much!
You look fantastic! 👌🏽 Goodness! I wished I had your drive for life in general. You exude kindness! I know this is a little sappy but with all the negativity in the world I just felt like letting you know what I see and hear.🙏🏽❤️
Also congrats on having more subscribers! 🎉🥳🥂 I just noticed this! Wow! I'm not always on CZcams but I peak in here and there. ☺️ It's been 2-3 years now maybe even longer that I've been following you and I'm ecstatic to see that so many more people are being blessed as I have been throughout the years. 💪🏽🙏🏽❤️
Do you understand the name of what she mentions about body contouring? Hibella?
Thank you for this Dr. Stefani - what a beautiful place you have and the sea views!! Loved hearing about your day, but as others have asked, I'd love a video on facial procedures etc. It's really because you look amazing and nowhere near your age, that most of us want to know. I'm considering Fraxel or Thermage because you seem to recommend those over other modalities. It's just for general ageing, my skin is good but I'd like to reduce the fine lines etc. Thanks & look forward to more videos 🙂 xx
I’m so glad I found this channel! Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
So interesting to hear about the foods that you choose to eat, I have to rewatch and take notes. I’m interesting in improving my diet for weight loss and reducing inflammation. Thanks for sharing dr!
You're so welcome!!
I just found your channel and am so excited to watch your videos. I liked this video because I found so many similarities between our lives. I too juggle my career, my wonderful kids, exercise and health, and on the ice I’m a women’s fiction author. It’s busy but such a wonderful life. 😊
Amazing!!! Keep up the good work and thank you for responding!!
Thank you, your parents must be so proud of you, you are beautiful, sweet, smart and engaging!! I have a 10 year old who I would LOVE it if she turned out like you! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE that you are NON SPONSORED!!!! You are the voice of truth and honesty- I will share like crazy!
Hi, I’ve been using your skincare line for a year and I’m loving it and how my skin looks using it. When will your cleanser be available. Love you and your content. ❤
Your smoothie ingredients reminded me a little of the smoothie that I've been wanting to try. It's called the "Glowing Green Smoothie." I've watched videos about it and it just sounds delicious. Thank you for sharing with us your routine and things that you do. Your background was so beautiful that I almost didn't think it was real until your husband came in to kiss you before leaving. I'm from Florida and live in the midwest. I don't miss Florida but I do miss being close to the beach.
You may have told us this in another video but are your parents physicians? As a parent to 2 high schoolers, I’m so impressed that you knew you wanted to be a Dr when you were so young, wondering how your family supported you throughout HS while you developed these goals? College admissions are scary right now at top colleges and I worry my boys won’t get into any of their choices or figure out what they want to do and will make them happy.
New subscriber ❤ you are such an inspiration of career and mom life !
Please talk more about what specific procedures are making your skin so perfect!!! ❤❤❤
You look younger with 45 than i am with 30 & it's killing me 🙈🤣
🥰💕Thank you for being so transparent 💕💕💕
Thank you for doing this!!! Your lifestyle has to be on point to look as stunning as you do, procedures or no, so thank you thank you thank you! 1:46
Aw thank you so much Dana!
I haven't watched in a few years but you look great!
A MD that cant be bought is worth listening to. You've gained a new follower and fan!
Loved this thank you so much for sharing!!! Dr. Kappel what would you recommend more doing a fraxel or radiesse for neck rejuvenation or sculptra and wrinkles? Thank you!!! Happy Mother’s Day ❤❤❤❤❤
I always say go with lasers first. So Fraxel :)
Hi Dr Kappell! What is ideal sleep goal? I heard you say you sacrificed sleep over working out and was hoping you could elaborate more? Thank you so much for sharing! I find your videos informative and motivating!
Thanks for taking the time to make this video...I am curious, have you ever heard of the company Ryze? They make a mushroom coffee that does have caffeine in it, but is all natural and has many health benefits. I have been using it off and on for a couple of months. It taste really good. 😊
Great video. Thanks for all your knowledge sharing. Looking forward to more.
My pleasure!!
Happy Mothers Day! Thanks for the info.
Thank you and you’re so welcome! Happy Mothers Day!!
Can you do a video on your eye makeup? I love it!
Thx for sharing! Awesome video😊
Hi Dr. Kappel, I am 54 and work hard to maintain a healthy and youthful regime. I have had sone autoimmune conditions from chronic stress and being a full time faculty member at a university while also being a single parent of a profoundly autistic child who isn't verbal and needs 24/7 care. Like you, I have my doctorate, and used exercise to maintain and manage stress and my weight. Now I do intermittent fasting 16:8 and eat carnivore to reduce inflammation, eliminare sugar and processed foods from my diet, no carbs, and plenty of healthy fish, eggs, butter, lean steak, turkey breast, and shrimp. I do a few cosmetic procedures to help reduce signs of aging. Mainly botox every 4 months and very sparingly use juvederm. I use sunblock on my face, neck, and body every single day and have done so since age 24 and my dermatologist has said I have very little sun damage. I use tretinon at night, and during the day I apply vitamin C in addition to my sunblock to protect my skin.
I am currently teaching a 4, 4, and 2 load, have an honor's student I'm working with, and my other responsibilities at university. I dont have a lot of free time, but I do work on my novel when I can
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I appreciate the honesty. I have no problem with procedures, but it’s hard for folks to see someone looking 20 at 45 thinking that it’s just genetics.
My brother is 48, everyone thinks he looks 17. I'm 47, my husband said I look no older than 26. We both had nothing done just sunscreen and some actives.
Look at her videos from a couple years ago. She looks her age. She looks like an entirely different person in her older videos. She’s using facetune here to make herself look younger. It’s deceptive.
Could you please do an updated video on the supplements you take.
Also your thoughts on NMN supplement for longevity and anti aging. Thanks
Thank you so much for all you share! I have flown out and had treatments from you which I Loved !! But it’s not super easy to continue to fly out. Any chance you have any colleagues you would recommend with the same high standards in the Portland metropolitan area ?
You're insanely gorgeous! Just found your channel and am so glad!
Thank you for all your valuable advice. You are a beautiful woman inside and out!
This was soooo interesting and inspiring, thank you so much ❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻may I ask if you have eyelash extensions or just fake lashes? Do you think eyelash extensions - if done properly - are ok long term? Big kiss from a fan in France 😍

Thanks Doctor, great advice.
Please may you do a video explaining how you look so great I am in my middle thirties and I would like to stop aging now if I can before I start looking too much older thank you so much ❤🙏🏽✨ you look amazing!!!
Absolutely beautiful, incredible. You look half your age, very happy for you! ❤
Omg, you’re like my boyfriend who is a surgery resident. Me, an IM doc could never do OMAD and fasted cardio, which is why I could never do surgery. I also need sleep.
thank you for your work !!!
Oh yes...i was doing intermittent fasting too...for more than 15 years...because as a doctor...i was
Whith my patients or studiyng for exam.
So i really understand.

What would you recommend for a 55 year old who is concerned about sagging skin and wrinkles on the knees
I’ll be 46 in August. Just found your channel. Happy Birthday🌷 🎂🌷
You look amazing! I was surprised how strict you are with your diet. Giving up caffeine is good thing: I only have decaf.
You mentioned in another video about bad quality makeup degrading our skin, could you make a video with some good and affordable makeup brands and sunscreens?
I had a laser( Lumenis) and had minimal benefits. I had CO2 around my mouth 5 years before (for lip lines) with amazing results. Would love to know your thoughts. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I’d love to know what facial treatments you’ve had. Especially what is best for nasal labial folds and a small amount of lose skin under the chin.
I'll do a entire video on that soon!! Mainly lasers and tightening devices now that I'm older ;) I did fillers when I was younger but not so much anymore
Aloha Beautiful! Would you be so kind to create an updated video on what supplements you use, or the types that would be beneficial for us more mature beauties? We truly appreciate you sharing your great knowledge, Thank you!!! 🥰
Hello you look great!please can you explain why you stop coffee?does it age the face more?
I agree on CoolSculpting
I really enjoyed this message!! Thank you for sharing it with us! What does a basic consultation cost run just to see you for Botox and lip filler and how far out are you generally booked?
It’s $250 but if you get something done it will go towards that. Also I just booked with her alike a week ago and my appointment is August 9th.
@@ashleighconstantine437 Thank you so much...that gives me a good idea of when to book... the money going towards the procedure is normal of course, but the booking time is a little bit out so now I can prepare accordingly. Thank you again!
Thank you for sharing your lifestyle with us! I follow a similar eating and water lifestyle. No coffee. We have a water distiller and supplement the loss of minerals by taking shilajit.
Same!!! I love it!! We just bought a house that has a water filtration system throughout ;). Love!!
Sooo informative and clear!! Does the Kybella work for men also? Hello from the Netherlands!
Yes!!
Hi Dr Kappel! Thanks for your advice and info. I’ve just had my first fraxel treatment (mid 40s) - would you say it’s normal at the beginning to need 2-3? I feel like the first one was good for pigmentation but didn’t really do too much for wrinkles etc. thanks!
Hi, since she hasn’t responded yet I thought I’d share my experience with Fraxel. I have had 3-4 Fraxel Dual (at times combined with IPL and VBEAM) It definitely takes time to show results and when you do start seeing results it’s gradual. I’d say within 3 months you’ll just see your skin starting to look better. I started in 2019 and am now 49 and have a clear complexion with basically no line/wrinkles.
I should have added I made sure to find a VERY good board certified derm… I think that’s the most important- to find a Dr who really knows what they are doing.
@@meganh7742 thank you! Are you happy with the way your skin is looking now after the 4 treatments? Have you had them relatively quickly one after the other? Sorry lots of questions!
@@anna-mariesloane3874 I don’t mind the questions, I was there once! Yes, my skin looks very good, not perfect. I’m 49 and nobody believes it. This is after decades of cystic acne and rosacea. No, I didn’t have them in quick succession. First, I am very fair skinned and it’s super sensitive. Second, these treatments are PRICEY! Fraxel only once a year (have done 2x/year post Covid as I was rough looking.) However, maintenance is key with lasers/lights; it’s not a one and done as the sun damage emerges from decades prior we will always need to stay on top of lasers/retinol,etc. Nothing at all in life is perfect. Mind you I still have skin sag which is my next thing to start working on. All of this is costly but we don’t have children and have a good income, and I’m vain. It’s my splurge. If nothing else, please make sure your person is board certified and has a GREAT reputation. I live in San Diego and we have a plethora of highly esteemed cosmetic derms. I feel very lucky in this respect.
What supplements do you take?
Do you stay away from eggs & cottage cheese? Dairy is a hard one for me, plus I love getting the protein
Thank you so much for your video!!! 💕💕💕
I would love to know which pea protein powder you use! There are so many options on the market that are not good for you.
Dr Kappel, What do you think about fat transfer to the face? Which doctor's work do you like for this procedure?
