edit: I just asked my mom about more and she said that during their 11 year marriage, my dad has been constantly flirting with other women, including the time when my mom was pregnant with me 😃

genuinely one of the most specific traumatic experiences. Lots of people, unfortunately, survive terrible abuse, neglect, etc. and find some solace in victim support groups, survivors circles and so on, but this is a very very niche trauma. Idk how you even go about approaching a group support with that.

The mom catching on fire story reminds me of my mom. When she was dying of cancer, she would light cigarettes with her oxygen tank hooked up right next to her, and I’d have to remind her each time that the tank was combustible and she wasn’t supposed to have fire around it. Good times.

The fact that this girl went on camera to admit to something like this, when everyone else just sends an email... It's just attention seeking behaviour. Didn't buy a single second of everything she said. Maybe she tried to get her mom's nails done and burned her skin a bit with UV lamp or something and just piled on.
Acetone is so flammable to the point where I had finished a weld and the acetone bottle was on fire from just sitting across the table and being exposed to the slightest bit of heat. Definitely a scary moment since the bottle of acetone was also pressurized to act as a spray bottle. Definitely thought I was about to blow my workplace sky high.
I needed this tonight. I lost my best friend and soul mate 4 months ago. I’m in hell. Thanks for making me laugh Noel.

Happened to me after 22 years. I’m so sorry, that is deep pain. Try to stay busy, get your friends and family to help in that area to keep your mind occupied. Journaling helps, where you set a time of day to just write whatever you feel. If you can go to a therapist who specializes in grief even if it’s once every six weeks. Of course seek out a good series to lose yourself in. It’s cliche but time is what makes it easier. But yeah a day can feel like a week. Make a playlist of songs that make you feel stronger, that you can lose yourself in. And when you need to just cry. It’s healthy for you mentally and physically. You will escape the hell. I feel for you. I hope something here ends up helping even a little bit.❤🩹

@@jojocaitlin8508 I mean if he was holding them in around me then sure I'd do the same but when he farts under the blanket and then puts blanket over my head for teehees but if I fart just in the same room then it's an issue. Plus I'm pregnant now and because of baby's pressure on my insides I have flatulence problems, not only are they common but they are tricky as you don't feel them coming and can't hold them in. Yet, he's still mad when it happens.

These are my favourite videos from Noel. And as someone who has been to therapy a few times in life because, shit happens. I gotta say between the jokes he does a pretty good job. I had an online friend couple years ago who once told her midwestern mother that "her lungs would go black if she continued smoking" while her mom was smoking and she just said "Black? well I aint ever bee racist so" and i find that story so fucking good
on the fart one, in my family we go to another room. we all have smelly farts, and out of respect and love for one another we'll go out to the hallway or closet and we'll all laugh. it's very funny, sometimes someone will randomly get up without saying anything and it's immediately obvious bc they're laughing or have a guilty face. my family's normal.

with the first guy, this was literally one of the things my ex cited as reasons she broke up with me. I have IBS, and I try to take fiber pills and all that to manage it, but I just be farting sometimes. what she tried to do was get me to hold them in all the time, then we made zones in the house where I wasn't allowed to fart, and she would ask me to not fart in public...
I now realize how fucking manipulative she was to think she can literally tell me when to and when not to fart. girls really think they can get away with regulating normal ass bodily functions. imagine if a girl took a shit every time she went out for food for whatever reason and the guy tried to tell her to hold it cause he thought it was annoying that she would use the restroom. dude would probably have his own portion of a dr. phil episode.

Because the room would have blazed up so fast they’d truly be f’d. Then she’d have to get her mom out who was probably unable to move. There were pretty much little balls of gasoline in the room.
