Getting married at 19 is something you do when you have no internet access and live hundreds of miles from modern cities.
or youâre christian, or in the military lmao
or you really love the person that you're marrying. i married my husband at 18, as soon as i possibly could. we were together since i was 14 and he was 15. we're very happy and we are soulmates. it's a very rare thing to happen but it does sometimes. people that get married early are usually what you said- its arranged, it's a religious thing, or it's like something you said, that they live hundreds of miles away from cities lmao. or they're online dating and they get E-married LMAO

fr the poly guy is just looking for the easy way out. Instead of addressing his mistake of marrying at 19, he'd rather just try a poly relationship with his wife so he can avoid going through the complications of divorce while also getting to be with other women. I hope the wife finds someone else.

I'm so glad that Noel isn't hung up on being super sensitive and is willing to just fully tell off that guy for talking about being "repressed polyamorous" as if its the same thing as being closeted gay or something.
Who are we to say what is and what isnât. We only have our own experience to judge off of. Nobody is the same, and change is a constant.
@@YoursTruly78887 Sorry, but that's fucking insane. Who are we to say "what is and what isn't?" _Sane._ We're sane. The sane say what is and what isn't.
If everyone went around accepting every fantasy and delusion that every degenerate walked around screaming at the top of their lungs, we'd have nothing but homicide and anarchy all over the place. And guess what? That's exactly what we're seeing outside these days.
We need stability, rules, an understanding of what is acceptable and unacceptable in society if society is meant to exist at all. The only reason you're even able to comment here is because a bunch of sane people decided to band together and keep the world from flying apart at the seams.
Being polyamorous is a real thing. People being against polyamory is a real thing. If we connect these two dots: its not unreasonable that someone might be Poly and want to/be forced to hide it. Not rocket science
Except it is. Lots of polyamorous people will hide their way of loving around family, friends, colleagues because lots of them risk rejection. And people need family, friends and a job to live. Some poly people will hide their relationship in order to get a house bc landlords will favor monogamous couples.

To the person struggling to find their work passion: start applying for a bunch of random entry level jobs, ask different places if you could job shadow, maybe try out a trade? I love hearing strangers share their real tragic and funny stories. This has got to be one of the best series on CZcams right now for entertainment.
Hearing Noel say that parents shouldnât vent to their children made me feel happy.
I was my parentsâ therapist for the longest time. My parents used to (and still try to) talk to me about how awful the other one is. My mom liked to say that she just thought she would never be happy, which hit hard because I spent a lot of my lower school and high school life trying to find ways to make my parents feel happy. I used to look up ways to help my dad stop drinking. I used to try to find support groups for my mom. But theyâd never take my advice. Theyâd just vent to me. I finally put my foot down and told my parents that I couldnât deal with it anymore. My mom said, âitâs not fair that I have to deal with this alone.â
I looked her dead in the eyes and said, âyou donât have to. You just have to find someone other than your already-messed-up daughter. Iâm not your therapist.â
My ex proposed to me at 19 because he âloved me SO muchâ I said no, weâre too young, Iâm not ready. 1 year later he cheated, we completely drifted apart and hated each other đ
Omg proud of you, imagine đ
When young men say they love you with passion they're really only describing the ferocity of their boner. Once it goes away, so does their respect for you.

It is truly astonishing how we can see just how much of an empath Noel is as a therpist. I only hope to see his portfolio expand
Being polyamorous is not an excuse to cheat. No relationship (not even an open relationship) will thrive when one or more of the people involved is being facetious about their desires and goals with the person(s) they're dating. I hate seeing ppl justify their shitty behavior by saying "I don't 'do' monogamy" as if that's a get-out-of-jail free card for cheating on your partner.
(As someone in a poly relationship, I always mention that upfront when I meet a new partner. It's vital information - if they're looking for monogamy, I'm not going to lie and say that I'm willing to provide that for them. And I'd hope that all other sane poly ppl would act similarly. )
Polyamory is literally just an excuse to cheat on the person you're with.
No amount of self-deceptive mindgames can change the fact that you're literally sharing yourself with multiple people at the same time and aren't willing to commit to the feelings, appreciation, respect and love of a singular individual. It's just as destructive as any other type of relationship abuse. There will always be jealousy in that kind of relationship. Always. _Always._ Even if the person you started your relationship with doesn't open up and be honest with you about it, they will always hurt - and if you're not the one hurting, then you're the one causing it. You'll wake up to this reality eventually, and it's going to suck when you do.
@@_Jay_Maker_ bro thinks he's the joker đđ just cause you can't get any bitches doesn't mean you get to decide how other people feel.

The getting married at 19 one hurt, as someone who did that LOL. To be fair i was raised religious and he was a narcissist. Divorced at 24 goes p hard tho.
Lmao at that last sentence
Normally I kinda hate when people talk about their loved one confiding in them like "ugh what am I your THERAPIST?" but it is a lil different when its your parents I feel.
Maybe I just have more sympathy cause my Mom is always venting to me about the most intimate problems in her marriage to my Dad (including their sex life!!!) and I'm like, dear lord, why don't you have anyone else to share these things with?
Right my mom did this too. It got to a point where I said I wasn't going to listen anymore lol
It's easier than ever to get someone else to talk to about it. Depending on the age she started whining about her life to you, it could have had a negative impact on your mental health. Your parents aren't supposed to break the 4th wall.

9 times out of 10 polyamory is cope, the only time it can genuinely works is when all involved individuals are romantically involved with each other and not like one guy or girl just stringing along a bunch of partners. Those always tend to end in bitterness, heartbreak and someone getting cucked. Also ppl need to learn the difference between wanting polyamory and an open relationship like cmon ppl.
