Imagine being jealous of a *DEAD PERSON* and claiming the one grieving has unnatural emotions.
This is my aunt's exact mindset when it comes to the wife my uncle had before her who died in a car accident 8 months pregnant, won't even let him grieve
my grandpaâs ex wife (who had the same first & last name as my grandma, bc she kept his last name), came into his funeral and made a whole scene, crying loud, and stayed a long time. I get being upset, but come in, pay your respects, and grieve. staying around the whole time with his wife of the past 25+ years and her family was weird vibes đ
@@suunnnnyd thatâs wild! My exâs dadâs first wife died in a car accident like two weeks into their marriage. His second wife gave their daughter her name as a middle name, it was her idea.
@@Chelsea34567891 your grandpa mustâve been hung like a horse to make that woman do that đ
my ex passed away before we even broke up, like i planned my whole life with her, marriage and kids and all, names picked out and everything, when she passed i really decided i wasnt gonan date again, but this girl came along and really understood me, she accepted that im traumatized and vowed to be there and help me through it, no matter what. she did ofc have enough respect for herself to say that i need to get over it eventually, but she made sure to tell me that i can take it slow, i think this is the best approach, since its not a good idea to date if you're gonna be hung up over your ex, dead or alive. just help each other
Damn I hope one guy is okay. Itâs perfectly normal to grieve the loss of a person dying.
yeah especially if you were close to them. It's normal to still have a connection to someone if you break up on good terms, doesnt mean youre in love still
Bro needs to get out of there fr. His wife is mad at him for having feelings
Yeah she's a selfish prick fr. Imagine being that intensely jealous of a dead woman, belittling your husband's grief and threatening him whilst he's in a sad and vulnerable state- all because of your own insecurities.
@@islabee94 seriously like damn
Especially if you are close to them, then especially _especially_ if the circumstances were tragic (given the addiction part) to the point they still carry guilt. Like. Oml. Let the man grieve.

The mother clearly has issues. Sheâs definitely one of those moms thatâll say âboys will be boys,â when those kids get older. Have no idea why some moms are cruel to their daughters but so nice to their sons.
Same reason dads are assholes to their son and nice to the daughter.
ââ@@Rustymangoes
I mean that might be the case for some Dads, but definitely not the case for mine. I'm the only girl in the family and my Dad was very obvious about me being the favorite. My mom theorized he saw the boys as competition when they got older. There's a reason why sayings like "Daddy's little girl" and "Mama's boy" exist.
He definitely wasn't the protective type either. My mom was much more worried about how I interacted with men than my dad was.
Then again, I was much more like him in personality and had the same interests so it could have also been an ego thing.
It all probably just depends on the person, but I feel like Dreadpirateroberts/my situation is much more common đ€·ââïž
@@Rustymangoes yea itâs just as bad probably worse

It's like yes, she could potentially want you to have that if she loves you... maybe if you loved her, you'd consult her on her opinion? Like Noel pointed out, she might've easily been chill with it if the dude wasn't being a selfish bastard and hiding it from her like a lil baby boy bitch

Good way to end up dumped in a geriatric center for the last of her days
Mine said that to me as well but I never thought twice about it. Idk how to feel
My mom was of the opinion you could love a person but not like them. That never made sense to me. Like comes before love whether it be friends, a significant other, and yes, parents. My mom was a bitter and hateful person so her saying that made me wonder.

That Andrew Tate bit may have been the funniest thing I've seen this year. I remember him in an interview saying my dad left often when I was young and wasn't home much. All of a sudden everything made sense like lmao
I saw some video, where he reminisced a confrontation with his father for cheating and father said - "Listen to me, Shut the fuck up".

Noel went hard on his commentary on that emotionally abusive mom. As someone who experienced similarly manipulative tactics (not the same quote tho), that advice me hard. Glad to see that he's able to recognize when a family is toxic and that the girl defending herself was in the right. It sucks to "make a scene" but you gotta stand up for yourself.
I was thinking the same thing watching this! From what heâs mentioned on the podcast it doesnât sound like he had the best childhood himself.
that advice made you hard?
Sounds like it could be from personal experience.
Addiction is a disease & no one can begin to understand how hard it is unless theyâre an addict. Living with someone whoâs in active addiction is heartbreaking, you watch that person slowly lose themselves. Iâm assuming she OD, grieving the loss of someone who battled addiction is normal & really hard. I hope heâs okay
"Am I the meanie weenie for gaslighting my wife in attempt to defend myself?"
The Tate deepfake was too good
Bruh my dad went to his first girlfriend's dad's funeral by invitation. The whole stigma of exes is just so messed up now. It's like you can't be friends at all.
damn that story about the ex dying hurt man. its totally normal to grieve the loss of someone you had a really close relationship with, even if that relationship is now over. not to mention the guilt of wondering if he couldve done more to help her. it is a very specific experience to be in a relationship with a drug addict while they relapse and you wonder if you couldve kept/gotten them sober.
For the first story, Iâd only be pissed off that I now had to sit with strangers during the entire flight instead of next to the person Iâm traveling with. That would bother me way more than the first class vs economy thing
My sister tells her kids, when they are misbehaving, "I love you but I don't like your behavior right now." Much better than focusing on the person, focus on the action. Also good behavior needs to be acknowledged as well. :)
As a recovering addict whoâs 2 years clean. I took quite a bit of offense to the second one. Just a junkie? Weâre still people. Jfc. My ex is also still using and if I found out he died , I would also be affected it.
Congratulations on 2 years Holly! Thatâs fantastic. And I agree nobody is just a junkie. That word in itself takes away their humanity. Just like the label âthe homelessâ. The word âpeopleâ has been removed from the end. So many people with substance abuse problems use them to deal with a horrific situation they lived through. I have a lot of empathy for them.
genuinely the war on drugs makes/made people think addicts arenât normal people or people at all, theyâre something to be feared and ostracized until theyâre not addicts anymore or they die

My sister is a jealous POS too, I once went to visit her family (they live in a different coutry, her, 4 kids and her husband) and that time I still smoked weed. So did her husband. I went out back to smoke a joint and he decided to join. I was on my phone pretty much the whole time, passing the joint back and forth. She stormed out to where me and him were and started screaming that I'm trying to steal her husband ( he's old and ugly, also broke) I laughed, got up and went back inside. She ran after me and tried to grab me by my jacket. I turned around and threw her across the room. We haven't spoken since. Pathetic clown

the first guys argument is immediately out the window because at no point did he have this discussion with her he just did it on his own. sheâs hurt because he didnât communicate
Me and my mom used to say âI love you so much but I donât like you right nowâ when we would be angry at each other just so we would know that the situation wouldnât/didnât affect our love for each other. We wouldnât get upset about it but it would make us reflect on how we were acting towards each other. We have a great relationship now but I mean if we my mom would get cold with me and say I didnât love her the way my siblings do I would be highly upset so I understand. I use the phrase in relationships now and sometimes it does backfire but never taken the wrong way
