My favorite segment was Total Copy, because it felt the most 80s, remind me of unsolved mysteries, and the punchline was really funny.
Honestly my favorite of the series, I enjoyed all the stories (Even TKNOGD).
If the next one is SCI-FI then they should call it V/H/S 4K

Dreamkill connects to Black Phone
Because the little girl in Black Phone is the main characters cousin
Usually when I see a horror film is coming out or advertised, I think to myself "if it's worth anything, Jack & Guru will probably talk about it". And this is another one of those instances. You guys are the true #RoryRobics
A real Murdercise, if you will.
The wrap around reminds me of Scp stories
I really dug this one. The segments from Derrickson and Guerrero were my two favorites. #RoryRobics
What me and my mom loved about Techno God was looking at the audiences look on their faces, which basically said: “We paid for this?!”
Another fun film night by the looks of it will give it a go.
Kust wonder when they'll try to go further back and do like a collection set before the 60s you know maybe a silent film one then something set in a ww2 war zone that kind of fun.
#RORYROBICS also a teen party that raises a demon too much.
#RoryRobics I liked the No Wake / Ambrosia concept the best, and I would love a longer movie around the idea. Dreamkill was also incredible (though the eye slash made me sick). I hated Technogod... The horrors of open mic night at the college cafeteria.
Reminds me of those poor 1980s quality public announcements you saw on TV back then. I just watched VHS/94 I thought it was pretty good.
Really enjoyed this one. Not quite as much as 99 but it was very good. Really enjoyed Technogods ending even if the rest was not so good.
Very excited for VHS in space becasue as we all know, all horror needs to go to space eventually. Special mention to the end credits song that summarises the entire movie too. #RoryRobics
#roryrobics they NEED to make dream kill a full length movie! loved it. really loved no wake/ambrosia too and i also liked the wrong turn remake/reboot a lot so I'm excited to see what he does next
Dreamkill felt like it was a mix of Sinister with a generous dose of Gialli? The psychic trope is pretty common in Giallo films of Argento and Fulci, along with the police procedural. Plus the film sequences felt like 70s film reels unlike the 80/90s handheld camera in reality. #RoryRobics
Also JFC, where does Derrickson find the music for his soundtracks? Hamburger Lady was not what I expected as its title but that music really disturbed me.
The vhs movies are actually good❤
#roryobics Some filmmakers say VHS ripped off No Wake, yadda yadda yadda. Dreamkill is my favorite segment from Scott Derrickson.
I recently watched it and it was phenomenal overall IMO!
#roryrobics This is probably in my top 3 VHS films and Dreamkill was my favorite segment hands down and reminded me of Giallo films of the 70s and 80s. Also I'm down for a full on Sci-Fi/Horror VHS film.
Yay! I'm not the only one who notices the Giallo influence. :D
#roryrobics love this entry to the franchise, so far my favorite segments of each one are: Amateur Night, Safe Haven, none for Viral, Storm Drain, To Hell and Back and God of Death
Natasha Kermani directed a 2020 movie called Lucky written and directed by Brea Grant I highly recommend!

I really liked VHS85! I liked all of the segments, including Techno-God, though I admit it was out of place here. The topic and even the beautiful actresses's look weren't giving me 80s. I think it would've been much more at home in VHS99 because at least during Y2K there WAS talk about tech, especially the rise of the internet and where that was taking us, and could've worked much better there as a predicter of where we are today. #roryrobics
This one didn't hook me out the gate like 99 did but once it did it had me hook, line, and dream tape from the future. For the newest entries it's 99, 85, and 94 for me though i love em all. cant wait for next year's entry. #roryrobics

I'd try watching again, I've tested the video on multiple different devices and the sounds there in all of 'em.
I will admit, this one is probably my least overall favorite. The shorts just were not engaging enough.
