I still wanna recommend Mister Creep that came out earlier this year, it was kinda popular when it came out and its a pretty cool found footage slasher movie
I just saw this, and i am glad y'all are doing this one. I am happy you are pushing the narrative of how these plots started but funny enough you mentioned two other movies that preceded those movies, but with the last matinee and another film that are darker but similar curcumstances. I did not even get the #maxheadroom reference until you brought it up #which made me have #madheadroom (

Kiernan Shipka is great in this. Also, you can't know if you go back in the right timeline, but in an alternate timeline. Anyway... solid movie 8/10 #MadHeadroom
For once I’m not going to spoil a movie for myself. I stopped at the spoilers and I’m going to go watch it right now. I watched Dark Harvest earlier. It was way better than I expected (I knew the plot from the book).
#maxheadroom was a fan when it first aired.
#MadHeadroom is exactly what we get whenever you guys recommend anything.
This film sounds interesting. Happy Death Day is definitely the gold standards, I'd say, for these slasher versions of classic movies.
Nothing wrong with time manipulation horror.
#madheadroom I am kinda glad that the plot for this is although similar to HDD, it stands out on its own. I'll definitely check it out.
#maxheadroom I liked this, I had a few story issues here and there but it genuinely made me laugh a lot and I love anything time travel. I also liked that the movie was funny and light but the kills were actually pretty brutal, for this kind of movie at least

I am not that much of a fan of slasher movies but this sounds like it could be fun. Gonna have to see where I can watch it.
Can't wait to see the comments about how the movie is bad because they perceived it as "too woke" because the main character calling out ---phobias and racism is just so wrong and shouldn't happen ever.
This movie was a lot of fun. You do just kinda have to run with it's time travel rules...but there is a solid character arch and Shipka is damn good. Also. The killer reveal was a tad flat, but the comedy is legit funny and the deaths are brutal enough. If you liked Freaky and Happy Death Day, you will probably like this.
This really wasn't that bad. Very silly, entertaining. Nothing groundbreaking but still decent enough I thought.
Have you seen Beaten To Death? You need to review it, that one is grim and brutal.
I'll put it on my list.
