I'm really fascinated at the horror genre lately doing spins on Groundhog Day, Freaky Friday, Back to the Future and now It's a Wonderful Life.
A better horror equivalent to "It's a Wonderful Life" is that scene in "976-Evil 2" where a teen gets sucked into that movie only to die when the film turns into "Night of the Living Dead."
You know what I did last Christmas? Got drunk and toppled the tree over.
Makin memories man.
From what I've read about the 'Angel' killer in this, the aesthetic sounds similar to the white robed killer from Exorcist III. Which is ace, along with the whole premise.

#IKnowWhatYouDidLastXmas - I was surprised by Joel McHale's performance. Even though it's a horror-comedy, Joel does a serious character and he's so good. I'm glad to see him getting horror film work after his performance in Becky.
I think I can explain why Bernie remembers what happened. It was when Winnie and Bernie kissed while getting transported back to her timeline. That seems to be the only thing that makes sense.
Justin Long is delightfully vile in this. His Joel Olsteen cosplay is so bad, it's great.

#IKnowWhatYouDidLastChristmas - the movie had issues but I really enjoyed all the chemistry with the actors. if you are looking for another fun Christmas horror movie on Shudder, recommend you check out The Sacrifice Game. Really fun and had a few twists I did not see coming

i didn't like this one i was sure i would going in cause i loved the similar horror movies recently totally killer, freaky and happy death day just not as good a protagonist definitely not bad i just was left disappointed and wasn't up to the expectations i had for it.

I personally didn't like It's a Wonderful Life so the Slasher Horror take of the story was actually enjoyable.
Total off-subject to this movie, so sorry!: But You HAVE to watch The Hunt, the danish 2012 movie, about an innocent kinderggarten caretaker/teacher who becomes a locally hated resident, who is victimized due to a false accusation about child violations. This movie is SO heartbreaking, in the sense that the movie clearly shows, that the accused in question is absolutely innocent, but the lack of knowledge of this from the local community makes them mad and irrational in their actions, and they end up doing horrible actions and harrasments towards our main character, for NO factual reason!! Absolutely a chilling thriller that makes you cringe, be uncomfortable, and on the verge of regurgittating food more than once, because of the way human kind reacts in this situation, which you realize is not far from reality at all!
