Aw, haven't watched that one yet but when you said "The thing on the doorstep" I gasped, because that's the first Lovecraft story I've ever read and I feel such living sentiment towards it... I'm still hoping for a straight adaptation TT
May check this one out tho, because I do love the Re-animator ;)

I love this movie and didn’t see where it was going.
Honestly, I thought the movie was gonna end with Graham’s character trapped in Crampton’s body, and the villain and Crampton’s character dying.(I just realized why I said makes no sense unless you watch the movie XD)
But this move was just awesome, and yes to me this IS in the same universe as Re-Animator, Dagon and From Beyond.

Hmm, heather graham. I was never a fan. I cant name many movies i like she has been in.
But barbara crampton, she was sweet and endearing in reanimator, and fun in from beyond.

I’m glad you guys liked it. I thought it was just ok. The only thing that saved it for me was the acting. Stuart Gordon movies are kind of hit or miss for me though.

Oooohhh!! I've been meaning to watch this and I'm glad it'll be worth it!
Found this not too long ago when perusing Barbara Crampton's filmography. So awesome to know it's a continuation of Stuart Gordon's work. Love both him and Brian Yuzna, they can make the most insane of films (Yuzna in particular) and I'm ALWAYS here for it - there's this feeling of earnestness in much of what they do, and I'm glad that seems to be carried on here. It's cool to see Heather Graham in something like this. The first dark thing I ever saw her in was Flowers In The Attic, where she did amazing. Unfortunate Jeffrey Combs couldn't be here. And, hmm, Barbara Crampton walking away as something else? Sounds a helluva lot like Evil Clergyman to me!
