I am Ukrainian, and I just want to say I didn’t want this win. Like a lot others said, I don’t think we would of won if not the war. It’s obvious we can’t even host a Eurovision next year, nobody knows what will happen in our country tomorrow. I was happy that we decided to represent our country, but more of the headlines or something. Or that we will be in the top 10. Please, consider it’s not our fault we win, but not every year the war like this starts. I didn’t expect it at all but really appreciate support from the whole world ❤️

Iuliia, I voted for you. Watching your national final, I fell in love with your song & was disappointed when Alina Pash won. It's been my number one since then, together with UK & France. (My mood decided which was favourite of those 3 on each day, so they rotated.) I'm delighted you won. Please don't sell yourself short. People were not forceed to vote for you, they did so willingly because the song moved them in some way. Even if it simply evoked sympathy, it moved them. All an artist asks is that their work moves someone, so Kalush Orchestrea suceeded. You won fair & square, & my country came second. Sam Ryder was asked in an interviewer weeks ago how he would feel if he came second to Ukrainine & he said it would be an honour to come second after such lovely people in first place with their great song. He was a fan of their music. If he can be happy Ukrainine won, then we all can. :-)

There are three winners of this night: Ukraine, for showing us that Ukranian music is not only alive but is at its best; Spain and the United Kingdom, for showing us that you can rise from bottom 3 to top 3. (And perhaps Germany, for getting points!)
The losers of this edition are the EBU and RAI, whose organizing, hosting and their approach to some of the artists, delegations, fans and fan based organizations, including wiwibloggs, were wrong on so many levels. I am not trying to spread negativity, but we need to be vocal about these things.

Ukraine well deserved win loved the combination of traditional folk music and rap especially for events like Eurovision they presented their culture I was disappointed with low score votes for Rumania, Poland and Nederland I thought they would be in top 5 for sure

The "not getting part" can be said for Serbia, it only had a somewhat decent chorus, the rest of the song is rather unimpressive and quite trashy once you translate the lyrics. Sweden was actually beautiful.

The Eurovision is a lot more then just a song contest. For one night a year all of Europe gets together and have a party, and we all bring a little bit of our culture. It's a celebration of the diversity of Europe. So if people choose to vote for Ukraine which wasn't that bad. It was catchy with a good fun stage show, and show their solidarity with Ukraine, you all need to get over yourselves

Ukraine won because of solidarity not because they brought a good performance or song like they have done other times. That’s the truth and it’s ok… we get it. But we must speak the truth and that it’s that the real winners of the night were 🇬🇧 🇪🇸 🇸🇪 their songs, performance, presence, control etc were the things that got them their spot and Chanel nailed it and would have nailed it with our without pans… very inappropriate, retrograde and hateful comment. In any event I am happy for the political support we have shown to Ukraine but the song was not the best.
