I'm loving this staging. But I know it's not for everyone. In general young queer people would like to be represented with less 'shocking' acts? It's history all over. Queer people just want to be normal, falling in love, blending into society as a regular person, so for some, this just doesn't cut it. That being said, love how this staging is risky, and we'll have to find out how it lands in Europe. Will go very well with older queers, but not so sure about the young ones or regular viewers.
