A lot of people don't realize about the diversity of moderne beats, instruments, voices (and even "elephant voices") are part of this magnificent musical work. I think Iolanda's and dancer's costume are not showing the final proposal. We might be surprised. She's not showing all. She's amazing and classy, so different from other entities 💚❤️

I get the same vibes from Iolanda that I got from Blanca Paloma last year. I loved her and the song ❤ but I am scared that folks wont get it and Portugal this year will be unappreciated like Spain was last year. But I hope for the best because the song is incredible.

I really loved her costume so much better than on her National Final, but I agree with Deban; her makeup and styling, including the earpiece, were luxurious compared to today's rehearsal.
The thing that didn't change, and that's awesome, was her singing. It was phenomenal, as usual! This was only the first rehearsal; she may still change things before her performance in the semi!
You need to read the lyrics to understand the song. The lyrics of the song are pure poetry. Iolanda struggles with her fears. They are her ghosts and the people who did her harm. She screams (grito) and manages to overcome her ghosts and the pain she feels. The ghosts disappear. She has become powerful and is reborn to life. That's why she continues to sing after the scream. Iolanda and the ghosts are dressed in white because they emit light. Light is the hope of overcoming pain. The color black is the storm of her soul.

Well we are talking about a rehearsal. She doesn’t need to give 100% of her vocal skills. We know she can sing. And about the make up, we also know she will be on point. Even last year, Mimicat was not on fully make up in the first rehearsal and her hair was not done as well. So let’s just relax a bit about it

This song has anything to do with Conan Osiris. It is way more acessible and is a ballad. Way easier to get and feel it. In my opinion, we are doing it quite easily.

I’m sorry but this clearly has more mass appeal than Conan Osiris did, and being one of the only strong performances - staging and outfitting - from the Second Half this should go through.

Can I just comment on the fact that there are a lot if black and /or white outfits.
I actually think that Portugal has a chance to win. I'm surprised i'm even writing this. Portugal will always stay true to their roots and the kind of songs they sing. I highly doubt you'll ever some pop song or club song from them. Everything seems to be working into Iolanda's favor this year. She has the whole package imo. I however do think that the song will not attract younger people to vote for them. It feels more adult and seasoned because let's face it... not only adults vote for this. Never the less, i'm very impressed about Iolanda and Portugal. I will not vote for Portugal but i sincerely think they can win this year. Boa sorte Portugal !

It's not enough, guys, with white on white background to attract enough votes. She disappears for me on stage. Honestly, very borderline qualifier and if qualifies, it won't score much if not for the jury help, like they pushed Estonia and Lithuania for the vocals last year.
