    It's BY FAR, the best song this year. You can grab your Lasagnas, grab your Euros, grab your Finding Nemo's, grab your Zari's, roll em up in a huge ball and shove em in a place the sun don't shine. Ulveham might be dark, but it's the light that lights up my days in the countdown to ESC. 12 points from Portugal, see you in Oslo next year.

    I'm from Croatia, and of course I would be happy if Baby Lasagna wins, however in my top 4 are also Belgium, Norway and Switzerland, every song so unique....but after watching all clips, this song should won. My Lord, the scene, the vocals, lightiing, coreography....amazing. Left me speachless and gave me goosebumps. Only this song gave me that. Unfortunately , I don't think it will go high according to the public voting, eventough this is a masterpiece. The jury will give some points, but probably not so high. People like simple catchy,crazy,songs. This is a dark song, and I like it. My vote goes for this.

      Yeah, I realize its just not my taste and that I"m missing a cultural appreciation here (And I'm 1/4 Norwegein....I wish i could know what my dad would have thought of this song - LOL!). But to me that sound she makes which I KNOW is just just wailing - but that's all it sounds like to me. You are completely wrong. Gåte is not copying an old Norwegian folksong. The text is inspired by a 1000 year old tale. Some of the song is a kind of calling for cattles, an old tradition in Western Norway.

      @terjerensvold2231 Před 16 dny +2

      @@lifewriter7455 wrong. In Melodi Grand Prix and Eurovision Song Contest, the rules require that both text and melody must be original and not previously published. As "Ulveham" contains lyrics taken from an almost thousand-year-old ballad, this would violate the contest's rules. In order to avoid problems with the song's possible participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, the Norwegian broadcaster NRK checked with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which organises the event. After an assessment, the EBU concluded that Marit Jensen Lillebuen's kulning recording could be accepted. To be on the safe side, NRK decided that the entire lyrics of "Ulveham" would be replaced with newly-written and original lyrics
