I just a message in Joost Klein his insta story on the meaning of the bird and it literally made me cry. This whole performance will be a tribute to his parents. When they look down from above they will be so proud 💙

Blue and yellow are also the colors Vincent Van Gogh used in several of his paintings. Van Gogh also traveled through Europe and tried not to be limited by the invisible borders of society or the ones within himself. In the Europapa music video there’s the Last Supper scene (featuring S10). The scene looks like the famous painting of Leonardo da Vinci, but a bit more in the light/dark tones of Rembrandt.

So did the blueshirted guy also listen to this one without the vocals..because to me this sounds like every "dance" tune of last year and this year and the year before and the year before that. Guess he passed on that and just comments on the show aspect as if that is great that it is THE feature. Whereas when it's the vocal that makes the song..he makes it sound like that is a negative. I honestly dont know how this can take the first place.. it can get a lot of votes from the televoting, but the votes will be divided bc we have other songs that have similar vibes to europapa. So i dont think he will have all the points from the televoting in order to be able to surpass the juries. Juries wont support this song imo

Unless you're familiar with the song's origin story, the main message is that there's no Europe beyond the EU borders (apart from Switzerland). Which is quite depressing for those who don't live there.

2. If it's about the European Union, then why is he also singing about the UK? The UK isn't in the European Union.
