  • Here is a quick review of the FX Dreamline Lite Bottle in .177 and Accuracy results at 30 yds and 50 yds. Purchased rifle in the fall from TopAirGun.
    Here it is in action taking out starlings and pigeons at a local dairy farm:

    Thanks for this. I have the compact version in .25 and am expecting my .177 barrel kit in 2 days. Difficult to find good videos on .177 PCPs. You did an excellent job, kudos!

    Excellent honest review. You know how to review the most important things people that don’t have the Gun care about. I subscribed to your channel and thank you very much. There was only one segment you talked about that I didn’t quite understand. At around 4:30 in the video. How the power adjuster wheel comes from the factory and what the buyer needs to do to adjust it. Kind of confusing with the Allen wrench etc.

    Great video. I have found 7.9-8.64 gr. pellets @ 875-900 fps works great in the barns I shoot in. Thousands of shots, no holes in roof. Outside shots in 10-20+ winds are tough though.

    Hi there!
    I really liked the review. I'm new to airguns. I just purchased FX Dreamline in .22 (cylinder). I would like to ask if this gun in .177 is tunable only by using the wheel for the calibers ( low, .177 etc.) to 11.80 ft-lb (16 joules).

    • @midwestairgunner8500
      @midwestairgunner8500  Před 3 lety +1

      I tuned it using the regulator and cutting the spring vs. the tuning wheel. The wheel only drops the speed by 15 fps so it does not do much good.

  • @chrisjohnson38
    @chrisjohnson38 Před 4 lety +3

    The hammer is factory tuned you don't have to mess with it.

    i love fx but my gauntlet turns in one hole dime groups at 35 yards there has to be something wrong or the wind was much worse than it sounded or am i missing something on the acuracy from this rifle

    • @midwestairgunner8500
      @midwestairgunner8500  Před 3 lety +1

      Not missing anything. Accurate at 750 fps and not so good at 900 or greater fps. Very little wind and the area I shoot at is completely protected by woods and pine trees....

    Thanks for video. Does the screw not touch the cam below power setting "C" even when it is cocked? Trying to figure out this mechanism. If it doesn't touch below "C", I would assume you would turn it to lengthen the exposed end on the side of the cam (towards the dial cam)? I know that sounds like a dumb question, but it will verify what my brain *thinks* it understands! Thanks...

    Hello! Thank you for the video. You mentioned that you have another air bottle, is it possible to replace it with the pressure? I mean, for example, you fill the ballon at home, replace it (filled) to the almost ampty and fill it too and then use them both on the shooting range?
    thanks

    • @midwestairgunner8500

      The FX bottles have a valve. So you fill them and replace them in the field with a full one when one gets low on air.
