    This is a video I shot recently with my new Dreamline Compact Tactical to try out the usual pellets and also the new Hades in 0.177. It's by no means a clinical test as the wind and heat would have affected results but it gives an idea under hunting conditions at 30 yards and also as overview of the rifle.It's fitted with my ATN X-Sight 4K 5-20 and a MagPul stock with the FX folding stock adaptor.
    All pellets featured are manufactured by JSB

    Just got the same outfit as you in 177..incredible rifle and so easy to take with. Have 7 high quality rifles and this is without any doubt the one I would pick for most outings . Absolutely brilliant.

    Excellent vid ... the heavies are an excellent pellet for sure , those Hades , having tested them myself I found them very underwhelming , I recon its the radiation sign pattern that makes it susceptible to the wind , I don't have trouble with the .22 version , may be due too its heavier weight ..

    Hello again mate. I love that little gun would be great from a car or other vehicle nice and short.
    Good comparison of pellets, shows not all perform the same. My AA S510 Ultimate sporter likes JSB 10.4 pellets best I have found, saying that the standard exact 4.52s work very well. May have another trip to Livens once the country get some way back to normal. P.s. The Crown 25 cal I have is a killing machine. Good stuff 👍

    I set my DT compact regulator pressure at 150bar, i can shoot two mags (.177 cal), and then i reduce the reg pressure to 90 bar and get 1 more mag to shoot, so total 66 shots per fill

      @NottsPestControl  Před 4 lety +1

      Air rifle hunter Through the glass- I use the GL profile for pellets and the Heavies BC is 0.03 in my scope. I’ve always said that ATN should launch a cheaper airgun X-Sight with lighter pellet weight settings and range settings up to 100 yards

    That's good for you to share, it can cost a small fortune pellet finding. Thought those Express shot well, I'm more for speed, specially for ratting damn twitchy things. But for rabbits that will sit motionless yeh heavy pellets are the order of the day, that gun of yours is very nice, keep it up pal well done

    Hi, I have the same rifle.. My .177 barrel like Bisley Mags how ever I've recently moved to the Hades same ( very similar) performance .. I had noticed the Bisley mag sometimes went straight through quarry.. Chest / head .. ( over penetration) but the Hades has a lot more stopping power ..rifle is sub 12 ft lb..Also the same in my MK2 Impact Sniper .. New sub

    • @NottsPestControl
      @NottsPestControl  Před 3 lety

      Yes I’ve found that Bisleys and JSB Heavies can go through pests, birds especially as they don’t flatten. You’re better off using Exacts or something similar as they flatten more on impact if it’s a problem. Thanks for watching 👍

    nice test, still find it shocking that if you buy a dreamline tac you don't get a but stock just the folding adapter,leaving you to buy an AR butt plus the tube to attach to the folding adapter ,shocking to spend all that money and only get 2 3rds of the rifle

      Thanks mate. I’d say it was as good as any previous fx gun I’ve had especially to say it’s only got a 300mm barrel. Less than ideal conditions for pellet testing so I was quite pleasantly surprised how good it was. It likes those express 7.87gn

    • @NottsPestControl

      It’s a U.K. spec sub 12ftlb rifle. The FAC version has a different hammer, spring and valve to get to higher power levels. Over 12ftlb is classed as a firearm in the U.K. and would require a firearm licence

    How many shots are you getting from a fill please as I'm going to be buying 1 of these rifles. But I don't know what the shot count is on the compact as the full length is approximately 70 with a longer cylinder.

    • @NottsPestControl
      @NottsPestControl  Před 4 lety +1

      D Sho In 0.177 with the regulator set at 90 bar it looks like about 140-150 shots from a 230 bar fill. You can fit a 300cc carbon bottle to these to gain more shots but not a 480cc because of the shroud thickness
