Great video, I love my Dreamline Tactical Compact (.177), so much so that I sold my S510 Tactical as I found I always picked up the DreamTac instead. I think there's a lot of bad press out there about these rifles, but it possibly stems from people messing round with the settings (not really necessary in Sub 12 once its set up) and dry firing them, which is definitely not recommended. I do always carry a spare valve stem with me, although I've never needed to change it. I also fitted mine with the new Weirauch moderator and didn't like the look, so fitted an adaptor from Blackpool Air Guns, which has a tapered collar to make it look like the old style Mod.
Yes those new Weihrauch mods look rubbish on a lot of rifles. If thad had just gone with a flat back instead.

hi great video , i brought mine three years ago second hand it is the compact tact it was like new ,i did nothing to it it shoots like a laser i have about 15 pcp air rifles the fx is tops in my veiw
These videos are totally subjective and are purely my opinion based on the experience I have with the Airguns that I am lucky enough to spend time with. I really appreciate it when owners relay their experiences and thoughts. It is important to have a better spread of information to help anybody that is interested in buying one. Cheers!
That buttstock changes the game completely. Looks like 1 of UTG's AR range, it's a looker & a shooter 😅
It was a good performer in its basic form. You are right though now it looks SWEET and shoots as good as it looks!
Nice rifle thinking of getting one myself, but one of the most tampered rifles out there along with the fx impact, so buying second hand buyer beware, but lovely gun ..

Just discovered your channel sir. In the more recent video about the hw99s you mentioned people don’t find your content and I have to confirm. I’ve been watching as many videos as possible on the dreamline tactical compact and never came across yours! Subbed👊🏻 do you know if there are even shorter barrels for this rifle? I’m thinking about getting one but want it to be as short as it possibly can be:) gonna be a rat gun, shooting hades, don’t care about the shot count:) would the tube version have a shorter barrel perhaps?
@@kims2r Thanks for the sub! I will have to speak to my nephew and get some advice on boosting my you tube presence! As for the barrels, as far as I know 300mm in .177 or .22is as short as fx goes. That would be for any model. You could speak to a gunsmith and get your barrel cut down and re crowned. For the shortest package the smallest carbon bottle would be best as the tubes are longer.
@@gardenguns Is yours 300mm? I would’ve hoped it would look shorter, even with the silencer that seemed longer than what I had in mind:) thanks for your reply! Regarding the algorithm, it seems very moody and sometimes random to me… also everything regarding rifles and shooting might get some drag from CZcams itself, not sure though:) hope you take off soon!
@@kims2r yes mine is a 300. To be fair to it the only shorter gun I have owned was my old BSA ULTRA MMC. That thing is a legend. The FX in my set up is pretty short, and sweet to handle. The foldable AR stock helps as well.
Hi there great video. I have had mine around 3 years now I have never messed with it and it has never let me down. I was just wondering what you set your reg at mine is set at 90
Slightly lower. However I am under the impression the gauges are not that accurate hence the new digital line. I have messed around with hammer spring v’s reg v’s transfer port for God knows how many pellets and time spent on the chronograph to get it dialled in. It has been about finding the balance that has given the consistency.
@gardenguns i agree it's just a case of finding the balance. I shoot hades .22 at around 11.5 fp every shot i feel confident it's on target. My FX is my go to rifle
The Dreamlines are extremely prone to valve stem and seat failure - I found out the hard way, don’t dry fire one and be prepared for regular strip and rebuilds 😢
The valve stem was broken on mine. As I said in the video, it was also the wrong type for the serial number.
Why dont you build a wooden table? That thing is wobbling ,you will get 1 hole ragged groups
It used to be better. Guess it is time to get a new one!
@@gardenguns good solid table sat on some slab pads or better still a small concrete base 😉
I agree on this one, I built a shooting table with the cutouts to the side like you see them often, and got a atlas bipod, really changed the gar
