    Ancheer has come a long way. Just picked up there new fat tire bike. It's a Radrover killer for $550 less. It comes unrestricted and tops out at 26mph with a 190lb rider. Pedal-assist goes up to 28 miles per hour. If you lift the rear tire up and give it Full Throttle the speedometer says it's spinning at 31 miles per hour. Only thing it needs is a better battery.

    Great video. I bought the same bike last month and I'm very happy with it. I too live in a very hilly area and this made me love riding again. I was able to climb Mount Wilson , San Gabriel mountain in CA which is around 5,000 feet elevation. I was in low mode with pedal assist and manage to ride 36 miles round trip until I depleted the battery. Very well made bike and you get a lot for your money.

    If you look in the controller there is a white wire disconect it its the limiter. I get close to 30 mph on mine the motor never stops turning its sweet. Also in the controler change the big capacitor to 1000uf 100v and you get more acceleration but no faster on top end

    Hi, great review and very thorough. I've had my ancheer for almost 12 months now and greet fun. I had the same issue with the rear gear guard and just bent it slightly to be able to get all the gears. I want to put a speedo on my bike but unsure about fixing the magnet to the mag wheel. How did you fix a magnet to the front wheel for the speedo and do you have a video of this or any photos please. Thanks

    Great video. Been looking at this bike and you answered many of the questions I had. I do have 2 more questions. First, what is the minimum seat height. I'm only 5'6 and was worried it might be too high. Also I have no experience with an ebike, so I was curious as to pedaling with no assistance. Is it harder than a normal bike due to the motor resistance and weight of the bike. Thanks

    Hi, great video thank you. Question please about the speedometer, how did you mount the magnet on the wheels? Looking at the sundig wired speedos they have magnets designed to attach to regular spokes
    Also, why is a wireless speedometer not compatible please?
    Many thanks and best wishes

    I suspect I'll be getting a bike with pedal assist before too long. Besides car camping, I'm a senior who uses a bike for shopping and errands in town. One "must have" for me is transit compatibility. Thanks for your thorough review.

    Hi. Is there enough wiring slack to put the controller in the Rack Bag ? And hide it in there. I'm thinking about buying this bike.

    Is it really easy to remove the plug from the box and then be able to charge the battery seperately?

    Great video - one question how long does it take to fully charge and can you charge it off a low 12volt system

    Is it possible to replace the tires/air tubes? Does the motor make a tire replacement any harder?

    • @timdillen
      @timdillen  Před 5 lety +1

      Good question. The tires and tubes are standard one and can be replaced as usual. There is wire that goes into the rear hub but should not be a problem for tire replacement. The wheels that I have do require a tube with an extended length air valve.

    Hey how are you fellow you tuber. Do you have an idea on bike lock any suggestions you may have are welcomed. In advance, Thanks

    • @timdillen
      @timdillen  Před 5 lety +1

      I did buy a lock and it saved me. 2 people tried to steal my bike during the night, I woke up and ran them off. The bike was locked to my bumper which saved it from being stolen that night. There are a lot of choices out there and I am not sure what the good ones are. I just picked up one of the thickest cable ones from walmart but I think a good pair of bolt cutters might get through it.

      I bought the same bike I weigh 230 and the petal broke soon as I used it and the front and back tire hit the mud flaps due to my weight on the supention.
