I got one of these ... battery charger plug shorted out killing the bms on the battery . Got some balance charger from a local hobby shop and split the pack into 5s to charge in parallel and added a 2s pack to bring voltage up a bit. I did this after waiting over 3 months for replacement parts from both Alibaba and Amazon and never getting my orders delieverd/filled and sent. But I many things have broken most recently the front forks have so much play in them I can't corner at medium speeds with out abrupt and scary wheel twists with a shudder of the forks unloading into the direction of the front tire not facing the direction it was rolling causing front brake lock- up style skids
I own one and enjoy it. Beware, however, my battery started to fail after 35-40 charges over a year. I asked Ancheer to ship me a new battery or give me a $150 refund to help me replace it. They weren't interested. It's over a year so warranty is expired. they offered me $20. The bike is fun but you might want to find a company that stands behind their product.

Yes the battery can be taken out. You could easily remove the charging plug from the bike and charge the bike at home. My bike is stored inside so no rust issues....

Can you give us the measurement from the hinge point of the frame tube to the ground? The stand over height is better than total height of a person for determining if you can manage the bike or not. Thanks!

Some 1 try this and tell me if it will work. Get a top post car battery with a 400 Watt inverter, tie the battery down with some tie down strap on the bike rack. Will it keep the e bike charged at the same time you riding the e bike ???
Dammit ride the e bike already..But good review . Im currently debating on buying one of these,but gotta check local laws..Cant ride gas one on sidewalks cause its considered a offroad vehicle,but if you ride it on the street it has to be registered. But they dont have a registration for this particular motor/electric vehicle/bike.
Pretty good quality. Quite heavy too so I am sure nothing should really break. Watch out for your bearing clearances. If not sure bring it to a bike store. That seems to be the main complaint. The bike needs to be set up right before riding, otherwise you may cause mechanical damage. Otherwise it is a very good bike!
You don’t need too remove the battery for recharging. There is a port on the side of the controller housing to plug in the recharge cable. The battery is also easily removed if you want to take it with you. It is the most expensive component of this bike and costs more than $200. Enjoy your Ancheer.

I have a video of what to do to make it faster. Do that on private roads or property only. Also check that your brakes and bearings are not too tight or rubbing. If not sure bring it to a bike ship and have them do a once over. Enjoy your ANCHEER!!

Never done a real test. But I’ve been five miles away on full speed pure electric. Going slowly with assist I’m sure you can make at least 20 miles. The battery has good chemistry and is well made.

I have the same problem so i purchased a folding e bike then suddenly you dont have that problem because you can take your bike in with you at home or at work. that is why there is a surge of folding bikes to help combat the thieves.

Decent beginner ebike. I’d recommend saving up for a more high quality one though if you need one for daily use. Don’t buy this one because you really want an ebike now. The wiring can be easily damaged if you fall while riding, so be careful obviously. Happened to me, eventually bought a better quality ebike that I should have bought in the beginning.

I don’t think so. These are very well built and I have no doubt the frame will carry that weight. But in case of an issue or damage, they may not warrant it. Otherwise I’d say go for it...!
Warning: Ancheer's warranty means nothing. I have the 500 watt model 26" model. The pedal assist is defective, PAS1 goes 18mph, and they won't fix it. You have been warned.
I ordered the one with 350 watt motor, I have been reading a lot of reviews, and what I think I learned is not to buy the bike directly from Ancheer, the service seems to suck, but if you buy it from Amazon they seem to respond much better to problems, so I bought mine from Amazon, also I am a bike mechanic, so I can troubleshoot mostly anything myself.
I have the350w model too,i like it, it cannot do my hill without me assisting on the pedals but it goes up quite easy like this. With my weak legs no way can i go back to a normal one now.

Pure electric is when you twist the throttle on the right handlebar grip and the bike goes. You do not have to use the pedals.

Maybe on high assist mode. I use mine mainly on pure electric.....

Remove the speed restricter inside the voltage regulator box( white wire-, just unplug it from its self.

Lift the tire and spin. Then move from side to side. Tire should spin freely and should barely have side play.

Its a great bike though i would not call this a mountain bike on any day. This is more of a cruiser than a legit mountain bike.
