abiez it’s coming in on Monday, are you planning on making any more videos on this bike? It seems like you’re one of the few people who have a review of this model
In the U.S. I just got the Ancheer 20" folding US model AM001908 (color=white). I charged battery to 100% and adjusted the disc brakes (they were causing friction). On level ground with tires inflated to 58psi (at 75F), it runs maximum 21mph==34kph on level pavement with no bike mods...yet. I'm 150LB at 5'8". Also add about 20LB for backpack, H2O, tools, etc. Bike color may also be critical in max speed claims. I've read the Europe version of the bike (black) is limited by a speed limiter jumper wire in the motor controller to 15mph. But, the US version (white) supposedly has this jumper disconnected, thus enabling full speed. Note: the battery arrived charged to 80%, which is OK...but it should have been stored and shipped at closer to 60-70% charge for maximum battery life and safety. 4 miles of riding took battery from 100% to ~85%, all 5 LEDs still On! (85%~40.8V (4.08V/cell in 10S battery pack) measured at charging terminals after 30minute cool-down period) Before riding your new bike, I strongly advise adjusting the brakes. My brakes were causing a LOT of drag on the wheels after initial assembly. There are many videos that show how to make this adjustment quickly and easily. I don't know if the single-wire "speed mod" is connected or disconnected on my ebike, but I have heard it SHOULD be connected only in countries that prohibit speeds above 20mph (USA over 20mph=OK). See here as a REFERENCE ONLY for a typical motor controller, NOT the Ancheer ebikes in particular. Ancheer AM001908 Controller Harness (one example, it could change at any time) Note the White "Speed Limiter" wire in bottom-center of image. endless-sphere.com/forums/download/file.php?id=238453 (image only) OVERCLOCKING an ANCHEER 20 inch folding ebike (Model AM001908 36V20" 250W) endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=93576 (main article) Acknowledgments: Thanks to "Matador" for his "Overclock" very detailed article and photos Thanks to numerous enthusiasts for video tips on maintaining bicycles and e-bicycles Edit: 20190906 added info about bike color possibly affecting maximum speed, and that I inflated the tires to 58psi while at 75F.
IM SOME WHERE AROUND 230LBS AND I JUST GOT ONE WITH THE BLACK MAG WHEELS AND I HAVE DONE SOME OFF ROAD WITH IT BUT MY TIRE PRESSURE IS LOWER THEN 65PSI
it takes me 49 minutes to ride 10.14 miles i have tire pressure up to 50 psi helping the bike get top speed i have got it to 22 mph n on a down hill that lasts about 2 blocks igot it to 30mph...
Please check the cable and make sure that the cable is not pinched. You can also open up the control box. The cables are soldered inside. Ensure that the solders are all good. Do you have a full charge? And make sure you have the bike set up to run on throttle only. You turn on the bike and press the left arrow button until it enters electric only mode. Do you have a youtube channel where we can see how it behaves?
Also, inflate tires to high pressure to increase max speed and max range. This can make a measurable difference (over 10%) in increasing maximum speed, AND maximum range on a single battery charge. The lower the tire pressure, the more battery power it takes to go the same distance. I inflate my tires to 58psi at 75F temperature. Max speed 21mph on level pavement with fully charged battery. I'm 150pounds plus about 20 pounds of accessories. No mods to bike. The maximum tire pressure embossed on the tires is 65psi (range=40-65psi), so when inflating the tires I reduce a few psi to compensate for increased temperatures as I ride on hot pavement (as the air heats up, the pressure increases). Edit to add: I found this video that demonstrates this VERY well and clearly. czcams.com/video/TCrL7yHPMqo/video.html It shows differences of 10% and more based on tire pressure. The video also shows power requirement differences between a tire designed for pavement and an "off-road" tire. Summary: high pressure and using a "for pavement" tire in city riding/commuting can extend your battery range by many miles.
Warning: Ancheer's warranty means nothing. I have the 500 watt model 26" model. The pedal assist is defective, PAS1 goes 18mph, and they won't fix it. You have been warned.
