    Thanks for the video. Made me want to get my ebike out on the trails :) we don't have trails like that where I live. I have to drive about 3 hrs to Gulf State Park for trails similar to those :)

    Nice to see you back making videos. Isaw The Crazy Romanian do a series on this bike about a year ago. It's cool to see you review it too. This is the E bike I would get for its low cost and quality.

      I really liked his series. I was amazed how much torture his bike took and how many miles he was able to get out of it. I think mine will have a less dramatic life.

    Thanks for the review. I have a Ancheer Sport coming, suppose to be here tomorrow, can't wait. lol I've noticed from all the Ancheer reviews that there's not enough gearing to keep up with the motor. So I'm having thoughts about putting a larger crank on it, maybe like a 60T or so. I do have the tools to do it, I had to replace a worn out crank on my pedal bike. Though to be honest, 15-20 mph is about as fast as I want to go on a bicycle. After 20 mph the thought of having a crash scares this old guy. LOL

    Hi. Do feel like the front battery pack bounces alot when on bumpy roads ? And do you think theres enough cable slack to put battery and black controller box in the rack bag ? Thx.

    Thanks for this review, I really enjoyed it .. I have a question and I hope you could help me .. How this odometer is connected to the wheel while this is a 6 spoke bike (not the normal round spokes) .. I did a lot of research and I could not find a compatible computer (according to the answers from sellers) .. and which other computers you would recommend that will work on this bike? .. Also could you make a follow up video for this bike and talk about the accessories you used and other compatible accessories. I'd really appreciate that .. thanks.

    I do like the ancheer bikes and they do offer extra battery packs but not what I want to carry around. Have you opened up the battery pack to see what the batteries are? I’m wondering if they are the double style batteries and if pack could be upgraded to a better grade battery. Then the bms will need to handle this. Ideas? Need a 30-40 mile range.

    It advertises a load capacity of 330lbs. That's how much I weight and I'm looking to get an ebike to help me ride until I can get my weight down and as I live in a city with a lot of slopes and rolling hills I need the assistance right now. In your opinion would it be able to handle my weight well and give me the assistance I need?

  • @mangreat71
    @mangreat71 Před 4 lety

    Some 1 try this and tell me if it will work. Get a top post car battery with a 400 Watt inverter, tie the battery down with some tie down strap on the bike rack. Will it keep the e bike charged at the same time you riding the e bike ???

    got my ancheer e bike yesterday, has anyone changed the wattage? was it straight forward?.

  • @adamd5401
    @adamd5401 Před 3 lety +1

    the good thing about 250W motor is that most airlines, even international will allow you to ake on a lithium battery with less than 300Wah, this is 288, anything more for example the 350W motor is over that if you ever want to take it with you if you move or vacation.

    Hi there 👋 thx for the vid about the bike. Could you mention how much it weighs? You may want to look at an ambulance conversion on VanCity vanlife channel today. Chrome is a blustery self promoting Canadian vanner (soooo unlike most Canadians! 🤗 ). Is this the type of shower you are planning on? I thought the water tank was a really good idea. Btw the HD guys took care of me - there was already connectors made for my drain pan problem 👍👍

    • @timdillen
      @timdillen  Před 5 lety

      Perfect! Glad you got the drain worked out. I will have to check out VanCity. The bike is a little heavy. The battery weights about 10 lbs and the bike without the battery about 30 lbs so to lift the thing off the ground is a bit of a chore. I have setup an outside shower with a propane hot water heater that actually is working quite nicely so I have not put much effort in converting the tall bin to a shower. May do so down the road and winter would def not work outside.

    • @timdillen
      @timdillen  Před 5 lety

      Well thank you! The ambulances come with so much storage and I wanted a more open feel but people did not like that. I don't want to travel in a mobile closet.

  • @DennisWintjes2
    @DennisWintjes2 Před 5 lety +2

    What I found you didn't say was how comfortable the 17MPH feels? Is this the speed a bike would normally travel? If you have no assist and pedal hard, how fast do you go? Some e-bikes go 35+MPH which I think is dangerous as bikes shouldn't go that fast. Thoughts?

    • @timdillen
      @timdillen  Před 5 lety +1

      I did not test too much but I believe a nice easy pace for me to just pedal is about 5 - 8 mpg. Pedelling hard maybe 12 mpg but not for long for me. At first 10 mph feels brisk and fast but after about 20 minute it starts feeling slow so you take it up a notch. You just get comfortable at these speeds quite fast and 17 seems just fine.

    I Have the Same Bike From VIVI Which is the same (Ancheer) Bike, it is a well Made Folding Bicycle. 21 Speed, Not just 7! Mag-wheels, My's Came with Fenders, go's 28 MPH, it's a Beautiful Bike...

  • @RandomVideosOfNoConsequence

    How do you install a speedometer on this thing? It has mag wheels?

    • @timdillen
      @timdillen  Před 4 lety

      That was a bit tricky. Used zip ties and double sided tape. You can get it in just the right place for the sensor to trigger the pickup.

      I have a GoPro and the app for it allows addition of little graphs and dials. I have to add them into the video on the app and then I copy the videos into an editor to cut the video down to a decent length.
