Why do INFJs and INFPs get along so well? Check out this video to learn 4 reasons why they’re a great pair! Free INFJ Personality Guide: www.infjbook.com
I am an INFJ and my boyfriend is INFP, we both get along quite well, but when we have an argument it can be pretty intense due to our feelings. But we end up arranging things in a way so we’re both at peace. In general we support each other a lot, because we understand the world in a similar way. It is the first time I think that happened to me, growing up I always felt misunderstood and judged. I’ve been reading your book and it’s been so reliving and fascinating to know all of my INFJ functions. I feel that things make more sense now. I bought it on amazon, I didn’t know you were giving it for free, but I’m glad I did. Thank you for your work and efforts to help INFJs understand themselves in a deeper, and also practical way. -Miyuki
That is so cool, Miyuki. It can be a stellar relationship for sure! Thanks for buying the book too! I greatly appreciate your support and am excited you're understanding yourself better. That's super. You're very welcome!
I always was close to my brother and now I know why .. I am an INFP and he is an INFJ. I always had the feeling that he is the only one that can understand my way of thinking and my idealism. Both my parents are sensing types, I always thought that they just don’t get me and it’s true, I think the Same is True for him but they valued his way of thinking way more than mine.
Another great informative video - thanks! I find that these two types (me an INFP) do get talked about often and get mixed up commonly (“I’m an INFP...no, I’m now an INFJ....I’m confused now” lol). This type of video I feel can help limit that confusion for those looking at just the 4 letters to better accept what their “actual” preferences are. I can also appreciate you highlighting that the two types can get along very well despite the flipped cognitives. Both types are unique in the “normal world” which gives us the ability to add our “special” flair and color to the mix! Thanks again for the breakdown!!
I am an INFP that ended up enlisting in the military. There were times when I had no choice but to behave in an INFJ or INTP way. It's possible we change our personality to blend in with the world but it's so draining.
You are very apt sir. I just started dating for the first time in years as INFJ and my INFP shared this with me after we spoke about out types. Your amazing with the plot and the flow that nailed every point. You Sir, have my thanks and gratitude!
INFP 👋 My first video I’ve watched of yours and love it - looking forward to watching more - caught in the comments that you have a book for sale, is that right? I got a good vibe off of a girl at work and I finally went over and chatted her up and glad I did! I threw out the MBTI info and she’s bit.. she’s INFJ 100% introverted - I have to say she’s one of the most authentic interesting unique deep real individuals I’ve met in forever!! Lotta people went to poop over the last couple years & shook them loose & what a refreshing person!! You INFJ’s are pretty bomb 💣
This was a comparison of the two types which spoke very pointedly to the video title. Thanks for keeping it concise! I find myself always testing as an INFP and I fill every INFP box, but so many of the INFJ ones as well. I’m 35 now and I attribute that overflow most likely due to my obsession with improving all my weakest skills for the first 30 of those (society, am I right?), plus maybe a lil to do w/undiagnosed ADHD... Now I’m putting 110% into my strengths and things are working out very well. Thanks for all your vids and those like it that share the well organized tips and info. I so badly want to share my stuff as well, but just can’t get past some weird internal wall to doing it.
John, you should definitely put your ideas out there. You have important things to say, and there are people who need to hear it from you. :-) I encourage you to push past the wall! Thanks so much for your encouragement, and keep pouring into your strengths! (If you don't mind me asking, how are you doing that these days?) Thanks for your comment!
@@ispeakpeople Great question. I really do appreciate you asking it (and subsequently challenging me with it.) See, I don't have a knack for completely nailing things like that down and/or writing it down... So I've been thinking about it for days (ok...weeks...man I hate time). (hold for John's return from a 5 min thinking spiral, even now...)
@@ispeakpeople So just over a year ago, I did the 16 personalities test and immediately learned everything I could, becoming obsessive for at least 3-4 months or so. It was all very revealing and insightful to have so much of *me* put into words by a separate collective voice. During that time, I learned that more than one professional would diagnose me with ADHD and bipolar. (Hey, I just take it all in...I'm open to both sides of the various legitimacy & validity debates here.) So how did I start exercising my strengths after learning all of this and coming out of hellish cognitive dissonance that resulted? 1) I transformed the work that I do at work. At this point, I'm a professional software developer. Slinging code around in Big IT just never has felt to be the right fit for me. I stop writing code and sell to my bosses that I'm not there to get the work done by putting my hands on it, but by making other people more effective. I started observing and educating - I even started hosting a "Quality Connection" live web series at work. THIS. WORKED. VERY. WELL. For me, this resonated well with my video-game-nerd self - I've always taken to playing the Cleric or the Support party member, who heal and buff their teammates. I did/spurred some great changes through this. 2) I conceded that I work well when uncomfortable, angered, opposed, or otherwise under pressure. Things just start connecting in a way that lights my little fire a bit. So I stopped avoiding pressure and went on to figuratively start knocking out the logs that were holding up the ceiling. And it feels great to still do great things, even when (figuratively) the ceiling will collapse within minutes. 3) I started trusting myself. I probably don't mean what you think I mean. I more mean that I decided to step off of the treadmill that I'd chosen through the course of time and just going with the flow. Three months ago, I left my (amazing) job, I bought some wood tools, a giant laser, and some other making & filming equipment,. Now I've got six months to stop my financial bleeding until I run out of money and get to go back to my "hell" as an, even more, evolved person. And that's where I'm at now, I've stacked the odds in my favor: I have the knowledge of what needs to be done, I have the tools to get there, I have the financial means to make it if I meet my insanely aggressive income scaling needs. I'm not setting out at the moment to become rich or to do laser engraving forever, (etsy.com/shop/fisharply is my baby, btw) but I've started several passive income streams that are working out alright for now. I need to put a crazy amount of time and effort into all these things in order to be in the driver's seat in controlling my own income. That's why I left my job...needed more time to work on *my* thing. Only by that can I feel free enough just to do helpful things wherever I go and to be obscenely generous. Many of you CZcamsrs, including yourself (and a big shout out to @HowtoADHD) have helped me get here. Jordan Peterson's also been a big influence by sharing stances like, "If you decide that life is worth going through all this suffering, then why would you do anything other than shoot to do the most amount of good that you can possibly conceive of?" His stuff helps me to... at least confront and be-aware-of, if not completely overcome the negativity and self-doubt. Ok, I think I'll cut it off there, but I could go for days, I'm sure. That's kinda my challenge with creating content like this....narrowing this wealth of information and experience into the small, digestible bites that everyone needs nowadays. But hey....we're getting there, huh? Thanks again for the question, and please accept my apologies for the rant above.
I think you have to realize that the Myers Briggs test is just another way of dividing character into boxes and the reality is that things are more fluid than that, even what's called black and white are really shades of grey. It good for getting an understanding but it's important to realize that nothing is absolute and can change somewhat as time goes on. My test results showed a lot of borderline percentages with only the intuitive being constant but most fell slightly and somewhat consistently on the INFP side, INFP-A if you want to use that extension of the method. I don't think the test is that accurate but it's a starting point and any of the metrics used to gauge personality have significant limitation snd flaws. Big picture descriptions seem to me to be a better indicator but there are a lot of personality traits Myers Briggs ignores. It's useful up to a point but best not to get too hung up on what box it puts you in. Best to think in terms of this as a pointer and a begining point to clue one into things one might not have considered.
I think you're the only INFJ YT-er who offers a free book. I'm tired of the other alleged INFJ video producers who seem to be all about peddling books and workshops for financial gain.
What if you know even after taking the Myers Briggs 2 times then a third. Best two outta 3 nope one More..infj twice.... Infp twice.... talk about both being right by as rate as we are claimed to be, as these two traits, this .0000001 is confused 😂
My best friend is an INFJ! We’ve been friends for 9 years now :)
Awesome! Very cool, Angelica. :-)
May I be your second best friend? SBFF

Sure thing, run with the wind!
Haven't found my INFj yet :(
Here I am. meow🐱
HELLO :3
They’re hard to find in person lol
It is easier to find an Infj on social media or forums than in person.
I think you're the only INFJ YT-er who offers a free book. I'm tired of the other alleged INFJ video producers who seem to be all about peddling books and workshops for financial gain.
I took the test twice...first result was INFJ...second was INFP....hey 3 out of 4 letters ain't bad folks...SMILE>>> mike +++
❤️ INFJ-T
Please let the mbti community know to update INFJ as FiNe and INFP as NiFe; we wrote an article to correct this error
Infjs are FiNe.
I had to
Do all INFJ's iwn a guitar?
Still can't know if I'm INFP or INFJ. I seem to bounce between the 2 too much.

If you do maybe you do xD
