They both couch me out of my prolonged episodes of introverted thinking and then will discuss the "puzzle" ill be trying to solve. I'm an INFJ and am a very strong introvert, but my extroverted feelings make people think I'm a proper extrovert :) People get very confused when I tell them I'm an introvert :D

Fun people to be with, they are Unicorns with no limit to their imagination. The " Oh that dog is cute!!" is not a legend. Trust me haha. They need a lot of fun, to be kept interrested, so expect to use lot of mental energy for that. They are still Extrovert despite being the least extrovert type of "E", they will need to recharge in society. Infj's will be able to calm them, by sharing fantasies and stories about universe or meaningful things. ENFP's natural fun mind will take the INFJ to crazyness level of love, making him engaged into. But Infj's strong need for loneliness to recharge, can make him exhausted, leaving the ENFP frustrated. However some stories doesn't finish on a happy end. Still the best partner for an INFJ.
Accurate! In an 8 year relationship considering letting go. As you said they are extrovert despite being the least extrovert type. She requires her friends while I require my alone time or lab. However I still think that she is a sort of covert narcissist as I've seen the patterns. The problem is I am loyal and Narcissists are not, very often not even to themselves. It is sad though I got a lot of research done when together managed to uncover 16 deadly sins which took about 4 years of research. Also I'm not into entertaining in such a manner especially if I seek to increase the human data base of knowledge.

And all thinking goes to secondary, even in third place or even vanish. You just want to believe, things can change back to they were before. That make you unable to analyse, and even if you have the answer, you choose to not believing it. ENFP can be a dream or a Damocles sword, on your head. Remebering these "dream" moments will make your choice even more difficult. Like me , you certainly know what it's all about. INFJ / INTJ will suffer from ENFP's strong need of friends, and ignoring our need for loneliness to recharge. Maybe a mature ENFP can understand this. By the way, if both are mature ( not one sided ) this couple, can reach the stars, or beyond. When the couple is both in a good mood, often they are called " Out of this world". Yes I met a much younger ENFP from Ukraine. I’m 40 she is only 24, but our connection was instant. Although she still needs to mature some, her overall personality is very delightful. She is a bit pushy and very flirtatious, but I am realizing this is her nature. In the past I would be turned off by this and run away. But now I am shrugging it off and realizing, “hey this girl really likes you, this is why she is coming on so strong”. Not a bad thing, just out of the ordinary for me. Being wanted is a new feeling for me. And my gosh, she is HOTT, so this is a very nice combination.

INFJ my most recent relationship was with an ENFP. Probably my favorite relationship so far. We did argue over chores and money. Socially it's a bit unbalanced too, he had a lot of friends and I didn't... When one of his friends didn't like me they made it their life mission to make me look bad.
It's kind of funny. I recently reconnected to an old friend and after less than two months of exposure, I feel so helplessly drawn to her. In our time apart, both of our personality types have changed. I am an enfp, and she is an infj.
As an INFJ, here's my point of view after two 10+ years relationships: The one thing I CANNOT handle is a P (perceiver)....I'm a strong J with OCD tendencies...I need CLOSURE on everything and decisiveness on all of life's decisions (from what to have for dinner to where to live). My potential partner can be Introverted or Extroverted, both are equally ok with me. Likewise they can be Thinking or Feeling. While I do prefer Sensors (I'm a strong intuitive), that's not a deal breaker. But my partner must be a fellow judger or I'll explode.
As an INFJ married to an ENFP, I can totally relate to those feelings. I need to live in an organised place and have plans for the day right from the morning and my husband prefers to be laid back and go with the flow. It can be quite stressful at times because the mess doesn't bother him at all. However, there are so many pros to the relationship like having that complimentary balance with being outgoing and someone who can relate to your ideals.
I'm sure you have met many INFJs but because we are cemelians so they are hard to recognise:) one in a hundred people are INFJ, you must have met a few.
Good video. But you could have mentioned that the ENFP is the INFJ's worst self. This isn't meant in a bad way, so let me explain: The function stack of the ENFP is the same as the INFJ's shadow, meaning that when they are overly stressed or unbalanced, they often fall unto using the shadow functions, only they aren't good at it, so it often has a negative effect. The ENFP then represents the potential of these functions, how they are positively used. This can have two consequences: 1. They each improve each other's negative side, sort of cancelling each other out. 2. They don't improve on their own conscious functional stack, having the other use their conscious stack in a negative way. Therefore they attract each other, but they don't grow in their own function stack, unless they grow on their own, which - in my book - doesn't make for a good relationship. However, this is merely the theoretical side of it. There may be other factors (such as the good communication due to similar interests) which have an impact on the relationship.
I Speak People tbh I have read next to nothing. There is hardly any proper info in context with the MBTI. Most of the info I have accumulated comes from Talking with Famous People, another channel. To get some contextual information, though, I have looked into socionics, which does say that we use all functions to some degree in specific ways depending on the stacking. Host Eric from TwFP has an interesting perspective on function use, which he has gained and applied with years of experience. The other half is my own interpretation of that information, the way I see it working metacognitively.
Jen La it’s all about reaction to grip stress. An INFJ’s worst self is a the qualities, but only the bad ones, of an ESTP. An ENFP’s worst self is ISTJ. :T I can attest to the truth of this as an ENFP marrying an INFJ lol
I think this is a good point. The ENFP dominant function is the INFJ's 5th or "Opposing" function. In terms of archetypes it's the antagonist to the protagonist, often expressed in the unconscious as the opposing gender (because Jungian stuff is a little bit old-fashioned with its binary genders). I wonder if that would help explain at least *heterosexual* attraction between Ni and Ne - it's like the missing "other half", somehow. It strikes me that Ne is experienced as enticingly "other", associated with the allure of what is "not me" - which, again, romantically one might easily be drawn to in the hope of achieving some kind of self-actualising unification. Two hearts beating as one, and all that. But the glitter that first draws in the eye won't always hold the attention: Ne can also be experienced as annoying and confrontational, though of course I underline that they are *experienced* that way - it's not like ENFPs are annoying, but sometimes the INFJ can experience it that way. To a certain extent this seems to me to be a kind of 'clash' potential between Xi and Xe: the clash between the narrowing, clarifying, introverted function and the expansive, potential-generating nature of the extroverted function. What I think Jen La is then talking about is the point that when INFJs are in contact with the world significantly via Ne that's us in a very "not us" frame of mind which would be more likely to come up when we're stressed or annoyed or whatever. As a result, I'm not sure in the long term that INFJ and ENFP in pure function terms are a great mix, although I can appreciate how initially exciting and attracting they might be to one another. Anyhow, great video - just noodling.
I’m an INFJ and my Mother is an ENFP. We had more of a girlfriend dynamic growing up than Mother & Daughter. I think we grate each other’s nerves but love each other. There could be more at play though since she’s my Mom. I’m not sure if I’ve been with an ENFP in a relationship. My current relationship is with an ISTP and it’s been difficult.😕

Yes I met a much younger ENFP from Ukraine. I’m 40 she is only 24, but our connection was instant. Although she still needs to mature some, her overall personality is very delightful. She is a bit pushy and very flirtatious, but I am realizing this is her nature.
In the past I would be turned off by this and run away. But now I am shrugging it off and realizing, “hey this girl really likes you, this is why she is coming on so strong”.
Not a bad thing, just out of the ordinary for me. Being wanted is a new feeling for me. And my gosh, she is HOTT, so this is a very nice combination.

It's kind of funny. I recently reconnected to an old friend and after less than two months of exposure, I feel so helplessly drawn to her. In our time apart, both of our personality types have changed. I am an enfp, and she is an infj.
As an INFJ, here's my point of view after two 10+ years relationships: The one thing I CANNOT handle is a P (perceiver)....I'm a strong J with OCD tendencies...I need CLOSURE on everything and decisiveness on all of life's decisions (from what to have for dinner to where to live). My potential partner can be Introverted or Extroverted, both are equally ok with me. Likewise they can be Thinking or Feeling. While I do prefer Sensors (I'm a strong intuitive), that's not a deal breaker. But my partner must be a fellow judger or I'll explode.
As an INFJ married to an ENFP, I can totally relate to those feelings. I need to live in an organised place and have plans for the day right from the morning and my husband prefers to be laid back and go with the flow. It can be quite stressful at times because the mess doesn't bother him at all. However, there are so many pros to the relationship like having that complimentary balance with being outgoing and someone who can relate to your ideals.

Good video. But you could have mentioned that the ENFP is the INFJ's worst self. This isn't meant in a bad way, so let me explain: The function stack of the ENFP is the same as the INFJ's shadow, meaning that when they are overly stressed or unbalanced, they often fall unto using the shadow functions, only they aren't good at it, so it often has a negative effect. The ENFP then represents the potential of these functions, how they are positively used. This can have two consequences: 1. They each improve each other's negative side, sort of cancelling each other out. 2. They don't improve on their own conscious functional stack, having the other use their conscious stack in a negative way.
Therefore they attract each other, but they don't grow in their own function stack, unless they grow on their own, which - in my book - doesn't make for a good relationship. However, this is merely the theoretical side of it. There may be other factors (such as the good communication due to similar interests) which have an impact on the relationship.

I Speak People tbh I have read next to nothing. There is hardly any proper info in context with the MBTI. Most of the info I have accumulated comes from Talking with Famous People, another channel. To get some contextual information, though, I have looked into socionics, which does say that we use all functions to some degree in specific ways depending on the stacking. Host Eric from TwFP has an interesting perspective on function use, which he has gained and applied with years of experience.
The other half is my own interpretation of that information, the way I see it working metacognitively.

Jen La it’s all about reaction to grip stress. An INFJ’s worst self is a the qualities, but only the bad ones, of an ESTP. An ENFP’s worst self is ISTJ. :T I can attest to the truth of this as an ENFP marrying an INFJ lol
I think this is a good point. The ENFP dominant function is the INFJ's 5th or "Opposing" function. In terms of archetypes it's the antagonist to the protagonist, often expressed in the unconscious as the opposing gender (because Jungian stuff is a little bit old-fashioned with its binary genders). I wonder if that would help explain at least *heterosexual* attraction between Ni and Ne - it's like the missing "other half", somehow. It strikes me that Ne is experienced as enticingly "other", associated with the allure of what is "not me" - which, again, romantically one might easily be drawn to in the hope of achieving some kind of self-actualising unification. Two hearts beating as one, and all that.
But the glitter that first draws in the eye won't always hold the attention: Ne can also be experienced as annoying and confrontational, though of course I underline that they are *experienced* that way - it's not like ENFPs are annoying, but sometimes the INFJ can experience it that way. To a certain extent this seems to me to be a kind of 'clash' potential between Xi and Xe: the clash between the narrowing, clarifying, introverted function and the expansive, potential-generating nature of the extroverted function.
What I think Jen La is then talking about is the point that when INFJs are in contact with the world significantly via Ne that's us in a very "not us" frame of mind which would be more likely to come up when we're stressed or annoyed or whatever. As a result, I'm not sure in the long term that INFJ and ENFP in pure function terms are a great mix, although I can appreciate how initially exciting and attracting they might be to one another.

I’m an INFJ and my Mother is an ENFP. We had more of a girlfriend dynamic growing up than Mother & Daughter. I think we grate each other’s nerves but love each other. There could be more at play though since she’s my Mom. I’m not sure if I’ve been with an ENFP in a relationship. My current relationship is with an ISTP and it’s been difficult.😕
