Why Bruce Buffer Screams "It's Time"

Bruce Buffer is the iconic announcer for the UFC who seems to have been born for his role as the fan-favorite voice of the octagon. However, while it may feel like Bruce Buffer was always with the UFC, this isn’t the case. In fact, the first UFC announcer was Rich Goins. But the stor of how Bruce Buffer got involved with the UFC is extremely interesting and perhaps shocking, particularly when you consider that it all began by Bruce Buffer becoming reunited with his long lost half brother and iconic Boxing announcer Michael Buffer. UFC 8 was Bruce Buffer’s First UFC event as an announcer and became full time with the UFC after his iconic appearance on popular TV show friends. Bob Meyrowitz brought Bruce Buffer on as a Full Time announcer at UFC 13 and it’s been this way ever since. Hopefully we never have to stop hearing Bruce Say “It’s Time.”

Imagine having a whole ass career and family legacy due to having the perfect voice for announcing fights. Amazing stuff! Love both of the Buffer brothers. I met Bruce at a UFC event, and he seemed like a genuinely cool dude. He's also funny as hell, which you don't necessarily expect just seeing him announce fights.

@@lionelrivera_MMA It was after UFC 86, at the Mandalay in Vegas. First thing he did was joke about how much makeup he was wearing (it was a lot, due to being on camera). He was taking pictures with fans and signing autographs. I still have mine in a box of old memorabilia. Dude has the whitest teeth I've ever seen, and was really nice to the hordes of fans surrounding him. Good times.

I’m happy to say I’ve been to a UFC ppv and heard it in person. He blew the roof off the arena. The entire arena said it with him too. It’s truly an experience.
I'm sure Bruce has thousands of people ready to fill his eventual position but I wish I could have that same moment he had with the UFC and tell him that I want to continue his legacy as the announcer and grow with the company just like he did. Someone get this to Bruce immediately!!

@lionelrivera_MMA I've heard it hurts you in the algorithm if you leave a livestream up, but I don't know if that's true or not. A lot of successful channels release regular uploads and stream, but delete the streams immediately thereafter. I'm only speculating based on what other CZcamsrs have said, so take this with a grain of salt. Hopefully it's helpful in some small way.

He is the worst and by far the most annoying ring announcer in the history of sport. His brother may well be the best ever but Bruce?..please. It takes him 10 minutes to introduce two fighters. I always mute the volume when he comes on. I can't believe how popular he is lol. Does he really think he needs to tell everyone "this is the moment you've been waiting for"? I guess nobody knew that until he told us lol.
