  • Rescue restore from very badly rusted Truck Milk. After a long time there is a new restorations project. This time I found an old milk truck. It was very badly rusted. I think the result is impressive. Did you have a toy like this when you were a kid? Write your opinion in the comments

    A superb restoration job. I really liked your workaround solution for the windshield but what surprised me the most is that all the bottles were accounted for.

    • @MWRestoration
      @MWRestoration  Před 2 lety

      3 bottles were missing. I actually wanted to make new ones, but they didn't look good. So I made the grid smaller.

      Unfortunately, three bottles fell. That's why I made the new grid with fewer holes. I tried to make new bottles. But they didn't look very good. I think the results look good though.

    The beginnig was sad, but the ending was splendid! In other words, a great restoration. The fabrication of the windshield was very nice.

    Superb job! Absolutely great work!
    My aunt worked in the Tri-Ang factory in Belfast. I have a lot of Spot-On cars bought as Christmas and birthday presents. I also had a Tri-Ang tricycle in blue and red. Another British company that went bust. What a pity.
    PS: My OCD would have arranged the bottles according to the cap colour… four rows, each with six of red, green, blue and yellow. LOL!

    • @MWRestoration
      @MWRestoration  Před 2 lety

      It's a shame that companies should go bankrupt Tri-ang😭.
      You're right i could classify the bottles by colour.
      Somehow I forgot 😅
      I'll pay more attention to the details in the next film 👍

    Interesting. I read that this particular vehicle was made between 1966-1973. I also did not know Tri-ang was a British brand! Enjoyed watching the video and learning a bit about the company.

    What are you using for your powder coat oven?

    • @MWRestoration
      @MWRestoration  Před 2 lety

      I modified the oven a bit. actually it was a smoker that was operated with gas. I insulated the turn so that no heat is lost. I installed electronic heaters instead of gas.

      I have several powder guns. That's why I don't have to pay attention to the colors. But otherwise they are right. if you only have one pistol, you should pay attention to the colors.
