After years of watching videos I've just recently realized I needed to remember to click the thumbs up on videos I like. I thought it was just to put in a favorites list or something for myself then learned it helps the creator of the video so now I try to remember. L. I'm slow at some things.
Great video! Have you ever removed a soldered on front sight and replaced it with a bead? I’m looking for a video pertaining to that and can’t seem to find one. I’m sure it’s just as easy as heating the sight till it comes off but I like to learn as much as I can before taking flame to a nice firearm. Anyway, thanks for the video!
Nice trick with the laser. Well done. I'll level and square mine on a drill press, but seriously, for a shotgun bead "eyeball level" is probably fine. One suggestion... always include a link for any parts.
Thanks for the kind words. According to CZcams rules we can no longer link any website that sells firearms or firearm parts/accessories. More of the censorship our hobby endures.
@@willwood487 I was not aware of that. Most of what I watch are woodworking and appliance repair videos. I probably should have guessed. I appreciate the reply.
Okay, you’re driving me crazy! You need to start by leveling your workpiece in the vice and shimming the end to be worked so that you’re cutting and drilling at a ‘plumbed’ 90 degrees. Trying to accomplish that with a workpiece on some random angle makes getting everything squared 10 times harder.
It's a decent tutorial. I have a 24" H&R 12ga. single shot that I want cut down to 19" and your video helped me.
Over 600 views and less than 10 thumbs ups. This is one of the best videos showing this process. Good job.
Glad you enjoyed it. I hope it helps someone with their bead install.

There is 75 thumbs ups now and it's a good video too.

What sizes for the drill bit and tap?!!
What was that tool you used to screw in the bead?

It's a scatter-gun bead. How square you need it?
