Excel shotgun (Iver Johnson Champion) single barrel shotgun.

Excel shotgun (Iver Johnson Champion) single barrel shotgun.
I solved all my feed problems by using high velocity ammo like CCI stinger. Never had a problem since.
I’m trying to fix my step dads right now. The issue he was having was the magazine wasn’t feeding the rounds into the fun. I fixed that with a file, the problem I’m having now, the trigger isn’t resetting. It’ll fire a round and feed the next one in but the trigger won’t reset to shoot the next round. Any ideas?
@brantleyanderson3427 try higher velocity ammo. If that don't work maybe some new springs.
@@willwood487 I was thinking about the springs but didn’t think about the ammo. Thank you!
Watched the video, smacked my door, and I’m not getting rain in my vehicle tonight!
I own the 2 tone black and silver version. I hate it💀
That turned out awesome!
Anybody else think it would be extremely cool if eventually somebody/some company manufactured SVD/Dragonov-type stocks for the Rem 740/742/7400/750? Even if *Woox* releases one of their “Cobra” or “Preciosa” spec-models for this chasis, it would be an awesome way to bring a few of these “used-rack” and/or “pawn-shop” acquired ones both back to life & “modernized,” without going too overboard w/ anything tactical, as well as retaining the classy-looking wood stock that compliments it!

very beautiful wood
Gotta ride the safety with your thumb.
hey willy! what paint did you use? looks good bud
@@Qrisco duracoat H&K black if memory serves me correctly
Beautiful piece of wood
ive not had a problem with the backing plates dropping but hanging the damn door correctly is near impossible
Good video! Thanks!
It's silver soldered and needs to be at a red heat.... you have not shielded the bore from oxidation so the barrel will be damaged now.. You need such shielding compound for putting it back on.....
Looking good!!
Bullshit ass cars these cars
Seems like it is working! Nice old shotgun.
I hope you like that trigger safety better than I did. I hated it and changed it out with a standard trigger out of a Romanian TTC. I like these Chinese pistols because they're like the original Russian ones that haven't had a hole bored in the frame for a thumb safety.
@@Lex5576 I changed mine out as well
I hated that Glock style trigger and changed mine out to a standard surplus Romanian trigger. I love these pistols probably for the same reason I love 1911s.
Wow CZcams actually recommended your video on my home page!
If you ever want to do a nickel plating project... or a nickel plating removal project. I have one I messed up I'll let you take a look at!
You made it run better than it probably did when it was new! haha
Well almost!
Runs like a champ, good job!
Good job on repairing thet Jiminez Willwood if i ever get one and have a problem i will contact you ,the safety is way too loose on these mouse guns same thing with the Phoenix arms 22 and 25 thanks for the video brother like your content been watching you for years take care👍
What takes you forty minutes to complete, on the Stevens shotgun, Takes my 12 year old grandson twenty two minutes to do the exact Reassembly on the Stevens shotgun. 🫣
@@JurgenStroda-rr8zt yep video and explanation takes longer. I just hope it helps someone
You are a total cluts, piss pour equipment, an absolutely no idea of what your doing. I am glad that your butchering a Stevens cheap single shot, and not a Winchester model 12. I certainly would not have work on any of my firearms after viewing this video. You would be a asset to someone wanting people to work in a junk yard. You certainly have no buisness working on firearms. You suck.🤮
Fuc-ing hillbilly.🤮
what is the size of the screw to unassemble it
@user-hc3rx3sw8l middle screw is .864 OAL X 3/8 " HEAD DIA X 1\4 X 20 TPI. The 2 outside REAR,FRAME SCREWs I'm not sure on at the moment
How do you remove the rear stock from the 101.100? I have one in .410 gauge that’s about 60 years old and I’d like to re-finish the stock. Thanks, M
I am amazed how easy the barrel went in
I videoed it in real time to show what was involved
Was just locked out on my lunch break at work. After trying for 15 minutes and no luck in this 98⁰ heat, I watched your video and found some wd40 in the facility. It took two bursts and it let me in. Writing from the AC interior of my car. Thanks!
I’m going thru this right now!!! I put the key and it’s stuck. Thank god the windows was cracked
Just got one yesterday.
Good video, Thanks.... My brother in law has one > I think it's the older one. Very easy pocket carry and he said never had a problem with it.
Nice job👍
Good job and good video!
Thanks Man.
Always Tap said Screwdriver into the bolt/screw= Energy into the threads, it always works. And center yourself over the threads with a constant downward pressure.
Also, I have no idea what gauge this was from originally. It's not marked on this fra.e anywhere. Just 94c.
I have one of those I'm building as well
czcams.com/video/va_uwI3Ttik/video.html
I just dug a 94c frame out of the bottom of a guncase I inherited. No barrel, and the stock was sawed off into a makeshift pistol grip, and it needs cleaning up, but everything seems to be in working order. From what I can see online, the parts in this thing are pretty expensive. I'm no gunsmith but I'm glad I didn't toss it. Can't post photos in the comment section...
Straight forward right to the thang ,good shit man
Heat the Zamak with a heat gun or oven. It expands at a different rate than the steel barrel. Leave the replacement barrel in the freezer for a couple of days to shrink it. Seems to make things easier.
2006 civic, i put a whole can of wd 40, nothing
👍👍 Lil bit of work needed.
The ring of fire guns are truly a tale in simplicity. They all follow the basic the same strikefire design with little variations from each company. The only survivors of that era now is high point and phoenix arms. Just because of the race to the bottom in inexpensiveness, there were quality control issues that led to some safety problems that were immediately made into lawsuits. Since the government and anti-gun groups really disliked inexpensive weapons for impoverished people. High point, and Phoenix kept shoving in safety features into their weapons as anti lawsuit protections.
great video
thank you for slow-moving and thorough explanation!
Gonna give it a try.. my alarm system had been weird. Main key won’t open now, but will the trunk. Radio goes out every now and then, have to put back code. New battery installed 2 months ago. Update… nope and since that happens and you could pop it with a coat hanger, or squeeze in the trunk as the key works there most likely… then had to go under car and unplug the car horn for the alarm. Makes it drivable at least and not a nuisance. But this didn’t work for me spraying. For me I checked the hinges and the key worked 3 times and never again. Something is a miss inside the door. I just can’t believe in my 2006 civic no key lock on passenger… that alone would solve 90% of my issues till I get the main door fixed.
Can't get the damn thing to cock.
Absolutely, gotta pass 'em on to the next generation so they can develop an appreciation of the old craftsmanship. Good stuff.
