Genuine shower gun account. Back in about 1989 or 1990, a friend of mine was keeping a .25 cal Derringer as a shower gun. One day, while he was in the shower, someone broke in his apartment door. He grabbed his Derringer.
He and the invader were both arrested. They were running down the middle of the street. My friend was chasing after the home invader, naked and dripping wet, with nothing but his derringer. And they were stopped by a female officer.
The police took him back to his apartment to check out his story, took a report, handed his gun back, and told him to have a nice night.

My old neighbors were kidnapped, tied up and locked in a bathroom in their own house in Costa Rica.
I guess if you live in an area where this could happen you should have a means to defend yourself in every room.
Personally, I’d use 5.56 for my lower body, and 50 bmg for my upper body, and some 9mm for my hair and feet.
That’s awesome I’m stuck with four in one 20mm. Sounds nice but it’s obviously overseas stuff and isn’t always effective, thus being cheaper than the nicer varieties you have. I’ll have to try that 9mm. 😂

M&P 2.0 with an aimpoint acro would be perfect. Plenty of grip texture, nice slide for a slippery grip or you could use the optic to rack it, dependable enclosed emitter optic so water won't matter. Sounds like a solid choice to me. Much easier to keep from getting rust than some other options too.

Have you watched any of Ian McCollum’s videos about the Finnish Brutality shooting competitions they do?
One of them involved being naked in a sauna, having a buzzer go off, and then you need to get dressed, grab your gun, load it, run outside, and shoot several targets… or don’t get dressed and run out buck naked. Apparently a couple contestants did that to save time. Most Americans brains short circuit just finding out Finland and some other European countries actually have gun cultures, and then our brains REALLY implode over the idea of European’s casually shooting guns nude and in the snow!
